Confused of what was happening all I heard was "this is my girlfriend" I watched the jock walk away and I could not be more relieved. I turned around and I stared into his light blue eyes. They were so intense that I froze. "Oh no please you don't have to thank me" I tried gathering up my words unable to speak "u-uhh thank you." He gave me a warm smile and suddenly I felt my face get warm. He wasn't a model type looking but he sure did in my eyes. I felt like i was looking like a creep staring at him smiling. I took my gaze away and walked away. I felt a light yank at my arm and i stood there for a second and turned around. My heart was beating so fast, it felt like i had just ran a marathon. "You can't just leave me hanging like that." I looked into his eyes and i could see the kindest person behind them. "I'm not sure what you mean?" i said trying not to sound nervous. "Would you care to have a drink with me?" i nodded my head saying yes.

 He still had a grip on my hand and he lead me to the balcony that was upstairs. He took two beers out of the cooler and handed me one. No one was surrounding us, it was just me and this handsome stranger. I looked at my surroundings and i could see the city lights. "So tell me, what brings you to this party?" i stared into his eyes and i swear they were more gorgeous in the dark blue sky. "I just wanted to come with my friends to take the stress away." 

"well by the way that i saw you move you had a lot of it" he chuckled. I laughed taking my eyes off him as i blushed "oh yeah don't even remind me, I hardly ever dance."  he was smiling the whole time, he looked at me like if i was a beautiful monument. "What are you talking about? you were great out there! sorry i had to stop you." 

"Stopping me was probably the best thing you could have done." i felt so relaxed talking to this person. I wasnt worried about anything, not even my curfew. 

"ive never seen you in school before" i gave him a puzzled look "Well to my defense I have never seen you at school either." he smiled at me "I'm sure I would have remembered a beautiful girl like you." I felt my cheeks get warm and I had this weird sensation in my stomach. What was happening to my body? I was feeling things i had never felt before. Judith and Lily came in laughing, their heads were down and they were accompanied by two guys. When they looked up and saw that I wasn't alone they apologized. I looked at the handsome stranger "Umm this is Lily and Judith the girls I was telling you about." 

"Hello Lily and Judith." when i looked at them they had a big grin on their faces. "Why are you guys up here lets go enjoy the party!" lily seemed a bit drunk but she was still functioning. I looked into those intense blue eyes and I took his hand. I lead him on to the dance floor, a very popular song by J Balvin was playing. I'm not sure what the song is about but it had a good tune to it. I was facing him and I slowly started to sway my hips.

I didn't know what I was doing. I had never danced with a boy before and for some reason my body was out of control. Maybe it was the beers I drank. He looked at me like he was mesmerized. He was just standing there and I motioned him to follow my moves. He quickly snapped out of his thoughts and followed my moves. I started laughing by how silly we probably looked. Judith and Lily were dancing beside us with their dates. I guess my idea of coming here wasn't all that bad. By the time the song was over we were all out of breath. I needed a glass of water. Judith and Lily were still dancing and I let them have their moment. "Do you want a bottle of water?" I asked the stranger.
He nodded his head up and down and we made our way over to the kitchen. A few people surrounded us, they were all drinking beer. I opened the fridge and I grabbed two water bottles. I extended my arm to hand him some water. He took it from my hand and he put it on the counter he was leaning on.

"I want to know more about you."
I stared at him while taking a sip of my water. He was looking at me with a puzzled look.
"What do you want to know?"
I was taken back by his question not knowing exactly what to respond. "Anything you want to tell me."
I had suddently forgot what my life has been like. Just as I was about to speak Judith and Lily came in I looked over to them. They were frantic telling me that we had to go. I looked back at the handsome stranger. "I'm sorry I have to go." As soon as I finished my sentence Lily grabbed my arm and pulled me away. The handsome stranger taken by surprise he stood there and waved goodbye to me.

We quickly got In the car Judith was the only one that was sober so she took over the wheel. We were silent the whole car ride. We were on cloud nine. Even though I didn't know much about this person I felt like I've known him since forever. Judith pulled over at my house. We tried sneaking in but my mom was waiting for us. I sobbered up a bit. My mom didn't notice that I had been intoxicated.

"How was the party?" She looked at me trying to study my behavior. I smiled at her and said that it was good. I was a bit nervous that Lily wasn't sobber enough but thankfully she was able to manage herself up the stairs. My mom was right behind us still a bit suspicious. When we got to the top I gave my mom a kiss on the cheek and told her good night. By the time I was in my room Lily and Judith were already passed out. I laid on my bed and looked at the ceiling. I wanted to know more about him. My eyes slowly started to close and I let myself drift into my dreams.
