| Very important note on the end of Chapter

I woke up to see the beautiful blue sky. Well that's a shocker. Aren't I suppose to be dead?

Sitting up, I took a moment to process my surroundings. I'm in a beautiful field with grass of gold. The temperature was nice and warm.

Just like him.

I mentally slapped myself. He doesn't like me like that.

Besides... He has Lissana.

After a while of taking in the scenery. I heard an all too familiar hum of melody, that brought tears into my eyes. I looked around. Searching for the source of the sound.

"Lucy.."

I froze. That voice...

Slowly. I turned to look behind me. Tears welled in my eyes as I was greeted by the sight. There. Standing in all her glory.

Layla Heartfilia. Wearing the smile that I missed oh so much. Behind her. Was the man who's death I missed to see. Father.

"Mother.. Father.." Tears started to fall. One after another. I raised both of my hands to cover my mouth to not let the sobs escape. I looked down and saw my tears turn into translucent specks of silver dust as they seperate from my face. It really looks satisfying. Looking up, I saw their faces. They were also crying. They immediately embraced me.

Oh how I missed this.

I missed being in my mother's arms,

Just like those times when she'll sing with me until I fell asleep.

You know this isn't actually so bad... Being with them again.

I put the letter in my pocket, I don't think I'm mentally ready for this letter yet.

But at the same time,

I made my way towards her bed and layed on it, I brought her in my arms. Just like I always fo when I sneak in her room.

That's strange, she usually wakes up when I hug her.

Maybe she's just tired,

Yeah that's right, she's just tired.

After all, with the guild joking around that she was dead.

She must be emotionally tired.

I'll just accompany her in her sleep, and I'll make sure she doesn't leave my side.
