A Surprise Visit
I'm back with yet another update. I hope you all like this one.
JUNGKOOK POV
I had a typical start to my day. Getting up at 6, working out for 45 minutes, drinking banana milk to cool off, and then taking a shower to get ready for school. After taking a quick cold shower, I put on my uniform and grabbed my mustard blazer.
Jimin and I usually have breakfast together before he leaves for his classes and I leave for mine. It's annoying that Jimin is already halfway through his university years whereas I'm still in school. At least I'll be done this year though. Just imagining university life gives me chills. I cannot wait for that chapter of my life to begin.
I walked out after getting dressed, expecting to see Jimin laying down breakfast like he always does but what I didn't imagine seeing this early in the morning was Jimin on the counter with Yoongi's hands on his waist as they kissed the life out of each other. They were so enraptured in their passionate moment that they didn't even hear me clear my throat.
Seeing no other option, I picked up a piece of toast from the breakfast table and aimed it at them. It hit Yoongi square on the back of his head which thankfully, made him leave Jimin's lips and turn to me.
"Guys, if you can't keep your hands off each other, stay in the room! Oh, my virgin eyes!" I whined and grabbed another piece of toast, to eat this time.
Jimin blushed a deep red as he got off the counter, "Sorry Kookie."
"Hmmm, Kookie?" Yoongi asked with a smirk evident on his face.
"Hey, only Jimin gets to call me that, we're not that close yet," I said to Yoongi, slightly embarrassed.
"We were close enough for you to throw toast at me," he retorted, eyes narrowed. He laughed it off right after. "Don't worry. We'll keep our intense, sultry, and fiery passion confined to our room, Kookie," he said, clutching his stomach due to how hard he was laughing.
Covering my ears and shaking my head, I continued to eat my toast. There was no point in getting into it. Yoongi and I had become pretty close since the day he came over with Taehyung. Which reminds me, it's been 5 days since Tae was at our place, 5 days since I dropped Tae home and we had that moment but he still hasn't texted me.
I was kind of hoping that he would text me the very next day to tell me how his assignment went but there's been no contact. And I'm too awkward to initiate a conversation with anyone so I haven't texted him either. Maybe the moment wasn't as special to him as it was to me but I haven't been able to get him off my mind for the past few days.
"Hey, aren't you getting late?" Yoongi called out while putting on his shoes. I looked at the time. Shit, all this rambling in my mind about that man has made me late. I grabbed my bag and ran out the door, screaming goodbye to Jimin.
"Hey Jungkook," Yoongi called out. I turned, obviously in a hurry. "I have to go home for a while anyway, I'll drop you to school. Come," Yoongi said, beckoning me to him. Extremely thankful, I ran towards him to get into his car. Soon enough, I was at school, well within time.
"Thanks, Yoongi. Now you have all rights to call me Kookie, in private!" I said warningly. He grinned at me and messed up my hair. "Get going, pabo." He didn't need to say that twice. I sprinted off to class. (Pabo is an endearing way of calling a person stupid).
My best friend, Yugyeom was sitting on his usual desk, next to mine when I got to class. He seemed lost in thought so I ran up to him and flicked his forehead.
"Hey, what was that for!" he asked, glaring at me.
"What were you thinking about, huh?" I asked, wiggling my eyebrows comically.
Yugyeom immediately blushed a deep shade of red. "Well, since you asked..." he started when my other bestie Baekhyun came in, the way he usually does, loudly.
"I'm here and I'm not late," he screamed at the top of his lungs. I actually had to cover my ears, that loud idiot.
"Wow, maybe for once Mr. Kwon will not give you a dirty glare for disturbing his class," I said, laughing.
"What's up with you guys? Why does Yugyeom look like a tomato?" Baekhyun asked, slapping Yugyeom on the back, who was still blushing hard.
"He was just telling me about it. I think he met yet another girl," I said, rolling my eyes. It was typical Yugyeom. He would see a girl at a party or a club, fall in "love" with her immediately, and then forget about it literally 2 days later. He was what people typically call, 'a person who wears their heart on their sleeve'.
"It's not like that this time. I actually like her," he defended. He says this about every girl he ever meets but I decided to humor him and let him continue.
"So you know how my dad has those office dinners right. She was the daughter of one of his clients. So beautiful, I swear I almost cried. She was glowing. Reddish hair, green eyes, the very definition of Ariel," he said, with stars in his eyes.
"You mean the mermaid," I gawked.
"Precisely," he said, the dreamy look in his eyes not leaving.
Baekhyun slapped him on the back of his head. "Did you get her number at least?" he asked.
"No, I was so lost in admiring her beauty, I totally forgot to ask her for her number," he said, slapping his own forehead in disappointment.
I couldn't control the laugh that slipped out, Baekhyun joining me instantly. Soon, Yugyeom also grasped how ridiculous the situation was and began laughing with us.
Suddenly, a voice boomed behind us. "Settle down," Mr. Kwon said. It was our music period. We all had to take electives and the three of us chose music. That's how I met these idiots. The only reason I had taken this elective was because of Mr. Kwon. He was one of the most talented keyboardists in this city. I wonder why he decided to teach in a school when he could have made a career in any music label.
Mr. Kwon cleared his throat and began, "students, there is an important announcement. There is a student from Seoul University who will be coming here for the next 3 months to teach you some different kinds of instruments. We've all learned the basic and popular instruments like guitar and keyboard but I think it would be great if you all expanded your range outside of these instruments as well."
"But why is a student taking our course?" Hwasa asked from the front of the class.
"Firstly, I was acquainted with him just a few days ago and he is remarkably talented. I am surprised to see such talent in a person so young. Secondly, he wanted keyboard classes from me so this is his way of repaying me for teaching him. He really is extremely talented and I'm sure you all will enjoy his class if you give it a chance. He is running a little late but you will all meet him today and I expect everyone to be on their best behavior unless they want detention," Mr. Kwon said, sternly.
The whole class nodded silently. Nobody ever dared to cross Mr. Kwon, it would not end well for them if they did. He carried on with his class for a while after that till he received a text.
"Ahh, the student is here. I will just bring him to class. He can introduce himself to you. Behave!" he warned and went to get this student. I wonder what's so special about this person that he is getting a chance to teach in a school.
Before I could think much further, Mr. Kwon came back in with the student. My eyes widened when I saw who it was. No words came out of my mouth except a little squeak which only Yugyeom heard who turned to look at me, extremely puzzled.
"Hello everyone, I am Kim Taehyung. I will be teaching you the saxophone and trumpet. I hope we get along well," the student said.
Hmmm, Tae as a music teacher, I would honestly take it any day.
Anyways, what did you guys think? Please vote, share and comment on the story and let me know what you guys think about it so far.
