"time to go home... well I guess I should be asking you, Levi,  are you gonna come back to our home yet? Farlan has been beating himself up since you left" I looked to Erwin he gave a nod to me "I guess I should head back home" Isabel gave a big smile "Farlan will feel so much better now that you're coming home!"  I didn't realize that it's been a while since we had the argument and now that I think about I feel bad for Erwin letting me stay for so long.

After the long day was finally over and after thanking Erwin I was back to the underground Farlan and I have some talking we need to do.

Levi pov)

With that Isabel and I said our goodbyes to Erwin and closed up the shop to start walking home. "How have you been living with Erwin?" Isabel asked while staring down at the sidewalk that was half-lit from the lamp post.

"For once I was able to get full sleep, and when I got sick Erwin took care of me." Isabel looked up at me and had a soft sad smile on her face "for once huh? I'm glad to hear I can rely on Erwin to take care of you but is our couch that bad?" Isabel giggled " horrible" we giggled more as we were walking.

(Be prepared for some heartwarming shit)

"You know Levi if anything ever happens to me or Farlan I want you to put your trust into Erwin, you need to let him in more" I looked to Isabel her eyes were looking at the stars then she brought her gaze back on me and smiled "I won't let anything happen to you or Farlan" she rolled her eyes "you never know Levi-Aniki" "Isabel don't talk like that" I made my voice stern she only laughed and we continued our walk home.

Once we made it back Isabel went to the door first knocking on it gently "who is it?!" Farlan shouted, "Isabel let me in!" We then heard footsteps coming close and the door unlock "welcome back Isabel" Isabel smiled and moved out of the way for Farlan to see me, I watched his face freeze then change to happy ness as he ran and grabbed me "whoa!? Farlan??" Farlan only smiled "welcome back Levi I'm glad to see you still short!" I rolled my eyes but I felt happy to be back as well.

After Farlan and I interaction we went inside, I sat down at the table and Isabel made tea. "Sorry about our fight Levi it was the hunger talking" "it's fine I understand we were all hungry" after drinking tea and eating food Farlan earned from pickpocketing we went on and talked about Erwin taking good care of me and me going to join the swim team. We talked a while and went to bed Isabel and Farlan promised to come to watch my swim meets and competition.

(Time skip Levi pov)

When I joined the swim team I ended up meeting interesting people most of who had a rivalry with me
When I began to pick up and get better at swimming fast. And Isabel and Farlan kept their promise I even fought Erwin in the stands watching me practice. I had a lot of fun though I would never admit it and through all my hard work we're finally going to our first competition.

Isabel and Farlan said they will be coming before the company started Erwin was already in the stands so I went up to talk to him.

"Is Isabel and farlan here yet?" Erwin shook his head no "they are probably in traffic" I nodded "you nervous?" I hesitated to nod my head I had a bad feeling for some reason "I'm sure they will be here soon, remember I'm
Here to cheer you on with them!" I thanked Erwin and the competition began I enjoy freestyle so I put more focus and training into this. All I can do is hope they will be okay,

As we lined up ready on the bords " Take your marks!"  "BEEEEEeeeewwP!!!!!!!!"

And I'm off, I feel the water flow through my outstretched hands and pass my body. Taking each breath I can take me further past the others it's the first 50 strokes so I need to save my energy and push through. Once o reach the other side I push off the wall and continue my pase I could tell others were catching up so I gave another push.  "Levi places first in the 50 strokes!"

After my race I go take a breath, my heartfelt like it's about to rip out of my chest, my throat feels rough and I taste blood. I now need to rely on my teammates. I look over to Erwin who is smiling and giving me a thumbs-up, I also noticed Isabel and farlan still haven't arrived I still have that bad feeling.

After we finish the competition I win a blue ribbon for getting first I was proud but Isabel and farlan never showed up. "Hey, Levi! You did great!" Erwin came running over to me I wasn't listening to what he was saying though I was looking around for Isabel and Farlan.

"Levi?" "Hm?" Erwin grabbed my chin making me face him and look him in the eyes "I'm talking to you.... Still no sign of Isabel or Farlan?" I nodded I noticed his fingers on my chin and felt heat rise to my cheeks so I quickly pulled away.

"Maybe they are at the shop? But they were supposed to be here?" I said I grabbed Erwin's hand pulling him in the direction of the shop once we made it there, I didn't see Isabel but I saw a girl I've never seen before behind the counter. We entered the shop and I ran over to the counter pushing people out of the way "where is Isabel?" The new girl gave me a puzzled look, "where is Isabel!?" I asked more aggressively "w-well she's been in a car accident" I felt my legs buckle but before I could fall Erwin stood me back up "Where?" The girl gave a confused look "where, WHERE!? WHAT HOSPITAL!?"

I shouted I felt fear and anger build up " I don't know! Isabel was on the phone with me as it happens I was filling in her shift because she went to go see a guy she
Called Levi-Aniki to swim" I slammed my fist on the counter and pulled Erwin with me "we need to find them!" I said quickly we went to different hospitals but when I finally found them I was told I was too late....

I pushed the nurses out of the way so I could go to them "wait!" A nurse shouted I ran to their room and it was empty I then saw people rolling covered body's out.

I stopped them and ripped the blankets off "I-is-Isabel?..... f-fa-Farlen?...." I found them they were injured badly injured Farlan lost his legs and Isabel broke her neck they had so many wounds......

Flashback))

I felt tears fall on my cheeks then everything went black.

Erwin pov)

I was starting to get worried when Isabel and farlan still hadn't shown up, Levi couldn't focus and I could tell he was getting scared as he pulled me to the shop and Isabel wasn't the one behind the counter I had a bad feeling.

Levi pushed to the front of the line
"where is Isabel?" The new girl we never saw before looked confused and startled, Levi asked again "where is Isabel!?" I could tell he was getting angry "w-well she's been in a car accident" Levi almost fell but I caught him and stood him back up Levi looked down and spoke with a soft voice "Where?" The girl gave a confused look "where, WHERE!? WHAT HOSPITAL!?"

Levi slammed his fist on the counter startling the girl " I don't know! Isabel was on the phone with me as it happens I was filling in her shift because she went to go see a guy she Called Levi-Aniki swim"

Levi suddenly pulled me out of the shop and we began searching hospitals when we finally found them we were informed they had passed Levi suddenly pushed past the nurses and ran off "wait!" A nurse shouted I thanked her and ran after Levi when I found him Levi had broken and fell "Levi?!" I shouted catching him. "Do you two know these victims?" I nodded " I'm so sorry for your loss, would you like to have them cremated or donate their organs?" I shook my head no "that's not my decision it's his" I said looking down at Levi, the women nodded and gave me a phone number for where their bodies would be when we made our decision. I thanked them and picked up Levi, they wanted to put him in a room and make sure he was okay but I refused and took him back to my place.

(Guys I'm so sorry for this angst stuff I promise it's almost over and I will give you all the fluff!)

Once we made it back to my house and I brought Levi in, I carried him to the guest bedroom and laid him down covering him in the blankets. I was about to walk away when I felt a tug on my sleeve I turned around and Levi was awake with tears in his eyes. "A-are they? I-is is I-sa-bell and F-Farlan? Are they g-gone?" Levi was in a broken state I sat down on the bed next to him and nodded. Levi's eyes widened and I quickly hugged him tightly. He made no sound and started to hit me but I wouldn't release him. "L-l-let g-go! I have to! I have to see them again!" I felt my shirt get wet "Erwin! I'm not kidding!" I continue to keep my grip on him till his body relaxed "you already saw them and collapsed you can't see them again.."

I felt Levi rest his head on my shoulder "why?..why did this happen?" I pulled away and cupped Levi's face, his eyes were puffy, and his face was red. "I don't know.....maybe it was just their time? But I'm here you still have me." Levi hugged me harder.

After hours of Levi crying and clinging to me, I was finally able to get him out of the room, I brought him to the couch and sat him down. "I'll make tea" Levi nodded and turned on the tv to impractical jokers.

Levi stopped sniffing as I made tea and brought it to him "you alright?" "I don't know I feel empty" I hugged Levi again "that's normal but I'm here to help you all
The way" Levi thanked me and cuddled next to me, I never thought Levi would do this so I was startled but my heart felt like it skipped a beat and I felt a blush on my face.

"Thank you Erwin" I nodded "no need to thank me" over the next few days I noticed Levi's eyes lost their light so I wanted to bring him on a horse ride.

(I'm so sorry for the sadness guys I swear this is for character development!)

"Hey Levi, let's go for a ride" Levi nodded, and since today was a nice day I wasn't gonna let this opportunity go to waste. After saddling the horses up I helped Levi get on and I got on my horse and we took off riding the field. "Doesn't this feel great Levi?" He nodded and gave a soft smile. We rode for hours today and I think I brought a little light back to his eyes.
