Running. Faster, then faster.

I was running out of breath, tripping over the tangled web of tree roots underfoot.

I was in the forest. It was dark. Except for the brilliant blue glow of my Akiridion form.

A growl came from behind me, and a pair of yellow eyes flashed.

I ran faster. Faster. Faster.

I took another look behind me, but it was a mistake.

I tripped over a thick root that curved out of the ground, and I fell, my foot making a grotesque crack as my body stretched the bone and muscle to its breaking point.

My foot ached, but as much as I tried to move it, I couldn't. 

The growls intensified. I pulled on my foot harder, tears beginning to spring up in my eyes.

Then the growls vanished, leaving me in the deafening silence.

I looked around. Darkness.

But then leaves crackled, and a bright beam of light shines in my face. I could somehow make out the form of Krel, his face contorted into pure horror.

 "Krel-" I groaned

 "Stuart told me you were a monster. But I didn't believe him. I though that if you trusted me, you would tell me if you were really an alien." He whispered, his quiet voice somehow ringing across the forest.

 " I-I'm sorry, Krel. I though you would hate me, then me in to base 49" I gasped. (A/N, that was the base name, right? I can't remember!😂)

 " Freak. " He hissed, turning on his heel and walking away slowly.

 "NO! KREL!" I yelled " Please don't leave me alone...the darkness...It wants me. "

The growls resumed.

The yellow pair of eyes peered out of the shadows, then another pair of eyes, then another.

They had surrounded me.

The yellow eyes stepped out of the trees, and I could somehow see him.

 "Why, hello, there, princess." Alpha Zeron smiled " You're parents will be, oh, so happy to see you. " 

And he held out his gun, and pulled the trigger.
