"So..." Mira says. "Explain, please."

"I'll start," I tell Phantom Spirit. "So. You know about Pokemon, right?"

Mira nods. "I'm not an idiot."

"Okay. So there are certain  Pokemon that live in a different world that we call the Soul World. Then there are some people that have this special bond with the Soul Pokemon, or Pokemon that live in the Soul World. So the bond is pulling the person and the Pokemon together to create a new Pokemon. So-" I get interrupted by Phantom Spirit.

"Blu sweetie, you're saying 'so' too much. Let me take over. Alright, I think I know where he left off. Alright, where  you are now is a  school I started for those special people who have that special bond with Soul Pokemon. We call you and your Pokemon Soul Partners. Any questions?" Phantom Spirit smiles sweetly, leaning up on her desk.

"Yes, many. First: How did you know that I have a Soul Partner?"

"It's because of your personality. Your personality and behavior reflects your Soul Partner whether you like it or not."

"So how do we figure out who my Soul Partner is?"

"You will. Soon enough."

"Okay... So who's you're Soul Partner?"

"Oh... Only... A Biberal. No, JK. It's GIRITINA!"

"Now no need to show off, hon." Valerie speaks up.

Phantom Spirit just glares at her. "So, last question. We have to move on."

"Okay. So will there be any creepy and irritating music where every line ends with Buttons and bows?"

"No... Did they do that where yo used to live?"

Mira nods.

"Umm... Excuse me for just one sec."

 She quickly returns, smiling nervously. "Um, Blu, will you take Mira to her new dorm and then return here?"

"Um... Is everything okay?"

"Yeah... About that-- ye-yes. Everything is okay. Just-- Go bring her to her dorm."

I just nod. I never see her this nervous. Not ever. She's the calmest girl I know. "Let's go, Mira."

As we walk down the long hallway, I think of all the possibilities that could be wrong. Could it be something weird about Mira? No, it couldn't be. I doubt anything could be wrong with her and Giritina. Even though Giritina's usually thought of to be mean and heartless, she's great with Spirit. So...

"Are you okay, Blu?" Mira asks me, tugging on my sleeve and looking up at me with big eyes, one green and one pink.

"II'm fine... Just a bit concerned. You know. About-"

"What's wrong with Phantom Spirit. Ahh. That makes sense." She finishes and nods, the flower in her hair falling onto the ground. "Oh!" She reaches down to pick it up, but is out sped by a girl who's been at the school for a while. My brother rescued and is taking care of her and her name is Esther. She's sort of a mysterious girl and I've never really gotten to meet her, but I hear that her Soul Partner is Deoxys.

"Here." Esther psychics the flower into an astonished Mira's hair. "Nice flower. Wait... You must be my new roommate. Blu, I can take her back to the dorm if you need to go somewhere important."

"Um... Right. That would be great. Thanks, Esther. I'll come check on you later, Mira."

She just nods and adjusts the flower in her hair. "Come tell me if Spirit has anything really important to say."

I grin at Mira and try to pull some hair out of my face. "Deal!" Then I whisper in her ear, ''Trust me. You're gonna be fine. Here, you can have Valerie and Malerie as some company. They really seem to like you." I hand her Mal's Pokeball and Val happily wraps her fin around Mira's shoulder.

She just nods and I think I see a trace of a smile forming.

"I'll be back very soon." I sprint down the hall to Spirit's room.
