Duni's POV
After a while of walking, we finally made it out of that stupid Forest Of Repetition. We exited, and I heard the others sigh in relief, but I, on the other hand, was nervous. I knew what came after the Forest Of Repetition...And I hated it. We would have to travel through the Path Of Future, which was definitely my least favorite thing in this whole universe. Only because everytime I went into it, I saw the same future, and I was never able to figure out what it meant, but I had a scary idea.

DDawn glanced at me, obviously seeing my tense state. "Vhat is wrong?" He asked, and I made eye contact with him. "The Path Of Future is coming up soon..." I sighed. He stared at me with the same expressionless look as always, "You'll be fine. Ze path is meant to do this to a person. Don't let it get to you." He said, and I sighed, nodding. "You're right..." I admitted, looking at the others. They were all talking amongst themselves. They seemed to be talking about the forest that we had just exited. I cleared my throat, "We must keep moving if we wish to get to Mother Time in time." I said, and they all stopped, looking at me.

"Okay, where do we have to go through next?" Tommy asked. I sighed, "The Path Of Future..." I murmured. "The Path Of Future? That sounds cool." Ash said. I shook my head, "Not really..." I mumbled. "How so?" Don asked. "Ve'll explain vhen ve get zhere." DDawn inturrupted, before turning around and beginning to walk away. I hesitantly followed, the others followed curiously, still talking amongst themselves. I sighed, knowing exactly what to expect.

We soon arrived at the border, and I stopped walking at the edge of it. The forest was very dark, almost pitch black, but I knew, soon enough, I wouldn't have to worry about how dark it was. I turned to the others, who were eyeing the forest warily. I gestured towards it, "This is the Forest Of Future." I explained, "But don't let it decieve you," I warned, "This is no wonderful forest that shows your future." I admitted. "And it is very dangerous." I warned. "As is everything here..." Dick sighed. "What does this forest do?" My lo- I mean Uni, asked.

I sighed, "When you walk in, you find yourself in a pitch black area, but you MUST keep walking forward." I began, "And then, you'll see a moment in your future through your own future selves eyes." I explained, "But this forest is cruel, keeping enough hidden from the moment that you get curious...VERY curious...." I sighed, "And you'll want to stray from the path to see more. You'll want to try to see the future completely...But step off that path, and you'll never find it again." I warned, "And you'll be forced to wander in there forever." I said.

"This place just really likes to keep us stuck in places, doesn't it?" Ashlie groaned. I chuckled quietly, "Yeah..." I said, turning to the forest. "Now, lets get this over with..." I mumbled, "Remember, no matter what, keep walking forward." I said, glancing back at the others, "Now, good luck, and I'll see you on the other side." I said, walking into the forest. As soon as I stepped inti the forest, my vision went completely black. I couldn't see anything, but I could feel the sensation of my legs moving forward, and I knew I had to keep it that way.

As I walked through the darkness, I waited tensely for the vision to appear, the one I'd seen so many times, and soon, it did. My vision flashed with white, then I slowly opened my eyes, dreading what I'd see. And just as I'd predicted, it was the same thing as before. Everything was bright an glowing, blurs of red and orange could be made out around me. I could hear crackling and popping, like lava. I appeared to be on some type of bridge, seemingky made from a dark brick. The room was very hot, making me sweat.

A few meters ahead of me, I could make out a figure, but they were a bkur of blue and brown. An echoy voice hit my ears, making me tense, "That's *****!" The voice said, it sounded like Uni, but the second word was too distorted to make out. "What's he doing here?" The same voice questioned. Then, everything got blurry as I turned around. My vision finally settled, at the least, on what was infront of me. It was another figure, but they were only a blur of red, and a familiar dark chuckling filled my ears. DDawn... I thought, then the vision cut off. It came back a momemt later, and I saw that I appeared to be falling from what looked like the bridge that I was just standing on. Then my vision went out again, only leaving a sick sizzling, popping, burning sound behind. Then, light filled my eyes, and I fell to my knees, breathing heavily. After a moment, I opened my eyes, staring at the grassy ground. I glanced back at the forest that I had just exited warily. I felt a scared uneasy feeling, which obly grew as I saw DDawn step out the forest. He notuced me on the ground, and I saw him roll his eyes. Then he walked over to me, extending his hand out to me.

I looked warily at his hand, them up at him. Then I sighed, slowly taking his hand, and he quickly pulled me too my feet. I kept my eyes to the ground, and he seemed to notice. "Vhenever ve come ere, vhatever you're seeing in that forest alvays seems to affect you greatly...Vhat did you see?" He asked. I glanced at him, "N-Nothing important..." I lied. "Let's just wait for the others to come out aswell..." I murmured, staring into the forest, deep in thought.

A/N Sorry for my lack of updates! I'll try to get them out more often! And uf you're wondering why Duni's (and DDawn) a human now, and a pug in his universe, it's because when he was sent through the universe, the universe sensed that somethong was different about him, that wasn't something normal in that universe so I guess it was sorta like a last minutes autocorrect by the universe lol. Next chapter, btw, will have the others futures in them, and some may be a bit interesting...Anyways, as always, I HOPE YOU HAVE AN AMAZING DAY, AND GOODBYE PEEPS!!!
