<1> Ticks, Tocks, and Dings

For centuries, Ticks, Tocks, and Dings have been deemed workers, or even servants, of Mother Time. It is believed that they were built by Mother Time herself, so that she would not be working alone in the in the TIME Palace. Though, no one has ever seen a Tick, a Tock, or even a Ding, some believe that they hide out among the beings in every Multiverse, reporting back to Mother Time about the status of every Multiverse. Others believe that they work only in the TIME Palace, assuring that everything is in working order.

A scientist once prophesied that when Mother Time's clock is cracked, it will mark the Armageddon, and the end of all time. Though, others believe that the Tick, Tocks, and Dings, or the TTD's, would give their lives to keep the clock from cracking. Even giving up every tick, tock, or ding they can muster to the clock to keep it working.
The TTD's have a sharp reputation of supposedly protecting the TIME Palace from intruders, or creatures whom wish to gain, and/or abuse Mother Time's power. Creatures such as angels of death, and dark creatures sometimes intrude, in hopes of collecting the Great power, though none have ever succeeded.

Now, a little about the TTD's. Ticks are generally more common than Dings or Tocks. They are built to be tall and skinny, though they are still small, like all TTD's. Ticks are generally in charge of the security portion of the TIME Palace. Since they come in many numbers, and are long and skinny, which makes holding weapons easy for them. Another interesting fact about Ticks, is that they are the equivalent of Seconds. So they are fast, and consistent. In some religions, Ticks are even referred to as Seconds, but not alot.

Now, Tocks, on the other hand, are more blocky, and slower than Ticks. They are less common than Ticks aswell. They are generally in charge of the engineering portion of the TIME Palace. Especially since they are much faster than Dings, and tend to be the more witty of the bunch. Some believe that it was them that designed the clocks that are now used, but, then again, no one knows for sure. They mainly stick around in the TIME Palace, but if need be, they will help Ticks with defending the Palace. And, as you can probably guess, Tocks are the equivalent of minutes.

And last, but CERTAINLY not least, there are Dings. Dings are the least common out of all the TTD's. They're much slower than the other two TTD's, but they are the more effective of the bunch. They are put in charge of the Mechanics department. They makes sure everything is in working order, and lined up. They are usually the ones who assist Mother Time when assistance is needed. And sometimes, they help Ticks with their jobs, and vice versa. Dings are built to be bulky, and strong. And, as you've probably figured out, they are the equivalent of hours.

And that is the simple history of the beloved Tick, Tocks, and Dings. I hope you enjoyed learning the history of The TTD's. Time in next time for the legend of Mother Time.

A/N, sorry for the random chapter! But I just REALLY like the TTD's, and I wanted to elaborate more on them. (Tocks are my favorite) ;) And as always, I HOPE YOU HAVE AN AMAZING DAY, AND GOODBYE PEEPS!!!!
