As I awoke, Ashley was staring at me while she was still laying down on the bed. "Hey sleepyhead." she said with a soft voice. I snickered while adjusting myself in the chair. She smiled and sat up a bit. "How long have you been awake?" I asked her. "About 10 minutes." she said. "Shouldn't a nurse be in here?" I asked her. "She already was. I asked her to let you and me talk a bit." She said she looked at me with a smile. "Oh, uh ok." I said scratching the back of my head. "Shouldn't you be seeing the doctor right now?" she asked pointing at me. I looked down to see cuts, bruises, and some blood on my right arm and hand. But the blood was covered by bandages that I had wrapped around it earlier. "Nah, I think I took care o' myself." I said shrugging it off. "Ok, but don't complain when you feel pain tomorrow." she said. I smiled and rolled my eyes playfully. "You want something to eat or drink?" I asked her while I started to get up off of the chair. "No it's ok." she said laying back down on the bed and closing her eyes. "Alright, I'll see ya later." I said walking out of the room. "Night." she said while she drifted off to sleep.

I walked out of the room and went towards the cafeteria. My doppelganger was already there when I arrived. "So how's it going?" he said as I sat down next to him. "Good, the doctors are evaluating to see if she's ready to be discharged." I said before taking a bit of chicken. "That's good." he said after taking a drink of water. "So what happens now since you stopped those 2 guys?" he asked. "Don't know, guess we could just settle down and go back to our normal lives." I said with my mouth full of chicken. "Doubt it." he said rolling his eyes. About 5 minutes later, a woman in military clothes came into the room and pointed a gun at me. "You had to say that earlier didn't you?" I asked him. "Sorry." he said while shrugging. I got up out of my seat and walked towards her. "What do you want?" I asked her when I stood only 5 feet away from her. "I want you." she said. "Sorry, I'm already taken." I said jokingly. "You know what I mean." she said cocking the gun. "No, I don't. Please explain." I said.
