As I looked at them, I just started to scream inside. I had never faced people this menacing. Ashley looked at me and I new she was feeling the same way I was. The man in the black armor came charging at me and I dodged him just before he hit me. The guy in the brown cloak shot what looked like dubstep waves from his fingers shouting "Dubstep is life!!!" I dodged the waves matrix style and looked at him surprised. I liked dubstep, but I never new one of my favorite music genres was going to be used against me. Also, he sounded like Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars. Then the black armor guy threw me into a wall. I hit it with a loud thud. Ashley kicked him, but it didn't seem to have any effect. Just then a rock song popped into my head giving me a lot of motivation surprisingly.
Fire appeared around my right fist and I rushed at the guy with armor and punched him forty feet away. After that, I rushed at the dubstep wizard and barraged him with punches and kicks. The final punch sent him back flipping and landing on his back before rolling backwards onto his stomach.
The portal that they had come through opened back up. I hadn't realized it had even closed. Anyway, the guy with the armor picked up the dubstep wizard and leaped through the portal, and then it closed. I looked at where the rift had been. Were they from an alternate universe, or perhaps just another planet? Too many questions were running around in my head that it started to hurt. I just let the subject go for the time being and went back to Ashley and hugged her.
