Chapter 3
She softly walked the boy over to a ginormous green field filled with soft grass, green umbrella trees stood towering over certain parts creating shade and Lilies dotted around here and there almost like God himself had deliberately placed each one to create a soothing pattern. in the distance he saw one of the manor houses from the walk he took a couple minutes ago; he couldn't make out the details on the house itself but could tell it was a very well made structure and the owner would have to have been very rich to afford it, that or it was inherited, either way he would never be able to have a home like that.
His family was poor, always had been. But he was okay with that, they weren't rich in money; but they were rich in love. And his late mother and father used to tell him as a little boy that this was all that mattered.
"So, I should probably introduce myself" He was brought out from his thinking session as he heard the soft melodic voice from the girl he met moments ago, he nodded for her to continue...he didn't want to make a fool out of himself again.
"My names Aditya, but you can call me Adi for short. It means sun in Hindu...stupid I know...." Aditya spoke shyly to the boy, never taking her attention away from her knees almost as if she was embarrassed of her name....she shouldn't be. The boy thought her name was the most beautiful name he had ever heard. It fit her personality well.
"Don't be shy about it. I happen to think your name is outstandingly beautiful..." The boy spoke to the girl before him with a smile, gaining a toothy grin in return.
"Mines no better, my name is Leo, it means the moon..." After Aditya heard this she started chuckling to herself.
"What?" Leo asked her also chuckling himself aswell, he didn't know what they were laughing about...they were just laughing.
"Your name. It's such a coincidence, mine means sun and yours means moon." Aditya words became quieter as she neared the end of her sentence, almost as if she was thinking to herself. But she soon snapped out of her trance once she again realised that she wasn't alone.
A comfortable silence swarmed between the two people.... Aditya grinned her proper smile at Leo, and for the first time in the past few weeks Leo smiled a genuine smile back.
They could both tell that this was the start of a beautiful and pure friendship.
