~ Chapter 25 ~
It's True, We're All a Little Insane
Fear pounded at my spark, I could feel the fear pulsing through me which threatened to be my undoing.
I refused to let it come to that.
Standing strong, confident and seemingly insane I grinned manically at the leader of the Decepticons whom seemed to assess me.
"What is your name?"
I smirked, twisted my helm to the side as I rose an optic-ridge. "Wouldn't you like to know?"
Megatron growled under his breath as I continued, looking at my servos as the claws extended from the tips of my digits. "How about we play a game? You have twenty questions to discover who I am."
I cast a sly smile at Megatron as his red optics narrowed at me, a disapproving look crossed his faceplate as he glared. "I don't do well with playing games." He spat.
Pretending to be unnerved, I played the part, jumping and placing my servos on my thighs, bending towards him. "Aw! You're no fun!" I pouted, a flash of hurt crossing my faceplate.
Megatron almost snapped, his optics cut into me as he stepped forward, voice low and deadly as our faceplates were inches from each other. "Tell me your name." He demanded. "Or I'll see to it that your helm will be hung in the throne room."
I gave him a challenging look, stepping back as I tapped my chin, humming.
"Ah, ok." I sighed "Lithiuma," I mockingly bowed, casting a smile, "at your service."
Megatron glanced to his right, to where Soundwave stood, most likely researching the name as he then faintly nodded.
Megatron turned back to me, Soundwave then began playing voice recordings.
"Lithiuma: Decepticon. City of Origin: Iacon.
Medical History: Physically healthy, mentally unstable. Mental Health Problems include; Insanity, psychopathic tendencies, schizophrenia, frequent psychosis episodes, possible bipolar disorder and sociopath.
"Comment: Lithiuma is extremely unstable. She is very sparkling-like and enjoys taunting and playing mind twisting games. She will kill without remorse and without questions asked. She seems to enjoy the idea of torture and murder as if it were an enjoyable thing. She can harm without warning and is dangerous to others.
"Advice: Keep Lithuima away from strangers and important personnel."
Megatron turned to me, raising an optic-ridge as the last part was spoken.
"163 confirmed kills."
"You were quiet the killer."
I grinned, "I did try," I turned to Soundwave "the information is outdated, it was 165 when I lasted checked it and now 166." I grinned with satisfaction.
Soundwave nodded silently. Megatron seemed to think for a moment, pacing back and forth as I made sure to keep moving, whether it be looking around or shuffling my feet.
Megatron stopped pacing as I kept my optics wide, my mouth in a small smile as he glanced at me, then away again.
He pondered again for a few more moments until he stopped, turning to me and looking me straight into the optic.
"Welcome back to the Decepticon ranks."
~
I didn't trust Soundwave and I never would.
The silent Decepticon was cunning and skilful, he was an observer, one to strike when least expecting it. He was the one I had to be the most careful around.
Soundwave silently walked, pedes barely making a noise as I was tempted to stay quiet, but I had to keep asking myself the same question over and over again; Would Lithuima do this?
And the answer was the same every time.
No.
I bounced on my pedes, grinning from 'ear-to-ear' (as I've heard many humans say) as I looked around excitedly, mentally mapping every corner, as I gleefully moved.
Soundwave was silent as ever, leading me to my destination; my berth-room.
I honestly didn't know what to expect of it.
"You seem like a quiet one." I chirped, optics staring at the back of Soundwave's helm. "Silence isn't always the best defence."
Soundwave didn't make a noise.
I vented heavily, "aw! You're no fun, why is everyone such a scrap heap?"
Still nothing.
Mentally I screamed at him to make some kind of noise, sound or even a voice recording! But no, he gave me nothing, no acknowledgement, no opinion, no reaction.
Emotionless.
But I knew he wasn't, at least he wasn't in the past, now however, I have no idea.
We past by a few vehicons, as I bounced along, I gave them a chilling smile and glanced at each drone, I could sense their unease.
Finally Soundwave had stopped in front of a door, typing on the keypad as the door slid open, I glanced in.
The berth-room wasn't the worst thing in the universe, their was no cage or chains, or energon stains on any surface (that I could see). Stepping in I found a bare room glaring back at me, the small berth that would easily fit my frame but then again - I was quite small as Lithuima.
The room was a mixture of greys, like most of the rest of the ship, dark colours, I was even more surprised when I saw a second door, opened as I saw a small room as my own wash-racks.
Huh, I wonder what the drones rooms would look like, they would probably have a few in a room.
A small beep alerted me to look at Soundwave as numbers appeared, they then disappeared, the words; access code appearing before fading.
I hummed in thought, tapping my digits on my thigh as I rose an optic-ridge. "Who else has the access code? I need to know how many people could kill me in recharge." I stated, growling as I said recharge.
"Lord Megatron! -- Dreadwing -- Soundwave." He used a different recording for each, the first voice I could easily recognise as Starscream, thinking of the insolent little bastard, I had yet to encounter him.
Dreadwing - I recognised the name, he was the con Wheeljack and I fought, the large blue seeker.
My processor quickly faded from the mission, the act, as I was pulled deep into my own thoughts.
Luckily, some part of me continued to play the part.
We grinned brightly at Soundwave as he left the room, the doors shutting on their own accord.
I looked around the room, sitting on the berth as I looked in the corners for cameras, finding none that were visible.
I highly doubted there wasn't cameras in here.
My mind got pulled to Wheeljack as guilt invested me, I was the one whom made him leave.
But as the Autobots did tell me that he didn't normally stick around for long.
Mentally sighing I groaned at myself, I had a mission at servo, and I couldn't let my act down for a second on this blasted ship, I would act as if there were cameras here.
I stood, stretching out my limbs as I felt oddly off-balance, I stretched again, feeling my back slightly heavier as I remembered the extra 'wing', the door.
It felt good, I supposed but strange, I shook it off as I walked mindlessly around the room, after a few long laps I spotted something placed on the end of my berth.
Walking over I picked it up, I pressed the button on the side and flinched when the bright light hit my optics. It was a data-pad.
Opening it, I discovered a file which gave me access to some of the ships data, I also then found a folder named 'Daily Duties'.
I titled my helm to the side, as I clicked on it, a blank page welcomed me coldly.
I looked through the data-pad, it seemed as if someone updated it regularly (presumedly Soundwave) so I would have to wait for my 'duties' to be given to me, well at least I didn't have to work on the first day.
I closed the data-pad, placing it on the floor beside my berth as I decided it was recharge time.
As I laid down and began to shut off my systems as a small ding alerted me, opening my optics I looked at the data-pad as I opened it, the next day was a list of things I were to do.
However the first one made my spark stop beating for a moment, as I tried to not panic.
Medical Checkup - Meet with Medical Officer: Knockout in the Medbay.
