She asked me to write
And I waged on a fight

But they were too shy

I had to wish them bye

What more could I have done?
I had no options but one
To end this silly fight

And so I went
Typed a message, hit sent
And there she was
Cherishing that moment

The world went to sleep
As we were took our secret leap
In that one fateful night
Our friendship got so deep

Times have changed now
There's no longer that 'wow'
We wish to change it, we do
But we just don't know how

A moon to the other's star
No matter how much we try
We'd always be so near,
