It's unusual for her to sleep this late. She is up at once, feeling disturbed. Today is the day she's supposed to go to the studio for a recording, she needs to pay the rent for the place she rented too.

It's not easy to run a music school, all by herself.

She is getting late. She freshens up soon. Maybe she should call Dushyant. After all he's her best friend. Mayne he would drop her to the studio.

She is locking up the main door when her phone rings.

"Dushu?"

She sighs. It's not him.

"Hello..."

Her face falls listening to what the other person said.

Then she sits down on the steps, feeling dejected.

Tears form in her eyes but she swallows them. She must not cry. Not over another failure.

She stands, dusting her skirt. Then she reopens the main door and steps inside. She doesn't feel like but she need some coffee.

She checks her phone, then dials a number.

'Where is Dushyant?'

She is alone at her music school. It's close to noon. There's hardly any student. Time to close up.

She looks at the sky. Thick clouds have lined up....

It's going to rain... that brings a smile on her face.

She looks at the guitar in hand.

Suddenly, she remembers what her mentor, guru had said.

"Become a star. Only a star can own it."

She sighs. She can never be a star. No...

Time to dispatch the damned guitar which always makes her feel guilty.

She packs it in a bag. She can't really throw it away. So deciding she'd leave it at someone's doorstep. She moves to lock up the institute, guitar bag in hand.

She's watching the rain that evening sipping a coffee. Dushyant is the only best friend who supports and understands her but he's always out somewhere. Sometimes inaccessible.

Where is he now? She wishes to share some coffee, and some of her pain.

Just then she can hear someone playing guitar... it's coming from the veranda.

She runs to see someone, with the guitar she left at one of her student's home.

"Are you sure you can leave this, Pree?"

Dushyant grins. "You know. Dreams ko chodna nahi chahiye."

She smiles. When he says it, she feels like one day dreams will come true.

"Yeah... I just thought..."

But Dushyant cuts her off singing a song... while strumming the guitar.

"Tu jo rootha toh kaun hasega

Tu jo choota toh kaun rahega

Tu chup hai toh ye dar lagta hai

Apna mujhko ab kaun rahega...

Tu hi waja...

Tere bhina bewaja bekar hu main"

He smiles and after a pause he continues... "tera yaar hu main.. Tera yaar hu main."

He really is the yaar. She smiles but who plays guitar like that?

She laughs... "aisa koi bajata kya? Galat! Chords bhi... idhar main dikhati.."

She takes the guitar from him and sings the song, this time with the correct chords and rhythm.

"Aaja lade phir khilono k liye

Tu jeete toh main haar jaun

Aaja kare phir wahi shararatein

Tu bhage main maar khaun.."

He smiles. Did he do this to cheer her up?

She looks at him as she sings more..

"Meethi si wo gaali teri..

Sunne ko tayyar hu main

Tera yaar hu main..

Tera yaar hu main.."

He claps when the song ends... she smiles....

"Thanks Dushu, main isko nahi khosakti, I was mad. Ki isko waha chod diya. Ye mere mentor ka diya hua guitar hai."

He nods. "Kabhi na chodo usey."

She thanks him again. Then there's a silence.

"Toh coffee piyoge?"

He nods and they head inside to catch up over a coffee...

"Shukriyada nahi karoge? Sirf coffee?"

"Kia na... aur kya chahiye?"

"Maybe a hug.."

"How cute... par nai milega.. Kaha chale jate tum... gayab hi hojate bas. Kitne bar call kia.."

"Kaam rehta... sorry... par ab aya na... guitar bhi laya.."

They keep bickering but when he pouts but he pulls her into a side hug. "I'm sorry yar. Did you miss me?"

She doesn't answer that question until she hands him a coffee mug. "I did."

They exchanged smiles. Everything feels so nice again.

Heheeh. There's Priyanka and Dushyant. Nxt chap Dushu ka... well baki couple k bhi moments bhi ayenge. Just wait.. Hehe...
