Chapter 5

Meg's POV

Eric looked at me with wide eyes and a shocked-scared expression and I instantly knew that something was wrong. "Eric what is it?," I asked afraid of the answer.

He ignored me and continued to walk down the hall possibly to one of his passage ways. I peeked into Rosie's room and I gasped, but covered it with my hand. I ran after Eric. Most Likely he was going to find our daughter and I wanted to come with him.

I was finally able to catch up with him. For a man driven by anger and worry, he really didn't get that far. I ran up next to him. I saw the anger in his eyes. I knew he was trying to hide his sadness and worry, but for having been with him for so long I could see right through him.

I placed my hand on his shoulder still running while trying to keep up with his fast-walking pace. "Eric please calm down. We will find her." I tried to plead with him to calm and slow down, but to no avail.

Finally his pace lessened and I knew he was trying to calm down. I looked back up at him to see his gloved hand over his eyes like he was trying to make it so i couldn't see him crying.

What shocked me most was that Eric moved over to the cobwebed wall adn slid down sitting on the cold ground. I sat next to him and wrapped my arms around him while he cried whispering calming words to get him to stop.

I never liked seeing him like this. The infamous Phantom of the Opera was sitting crying in my arms. "Meg I promise we will find her. And I won't stop until I do. Even if I have to die trying."

Rosie's POV

I walked out of my room. I knew once my father and mother noticed I was gone, they would freak and search the whole Opera House for me. Which is why I wan't going to hide in the Opera House.

That would be a way too obvious hiding stop. I needed to leave the Opera House or even Paris. As I made my way down the grand staircase a voice brought me to a stop. At first I thought it was my father and that he had found me but when I turned around, I was faced with an unfamiliar man.

He had long brown hair and light brown eyes. I had never met this man before. "What are you doing here? Noone is supposed to be here." He looked angry. I turned and soon his eyes softened. He looked shocked to see me. "Rosie?"
