My first thought was to run away, and catch my breath,
Feeling like it's impossible to make a decision.
Here I am breathing in,
Still wondering what it is,
Searching for another way,
A safer way, to where I know what to say.
I lay awake and wonder if I really know what to do,
My head lays tired behind my eyes,
They noticed the moment they met me,
Time goes by, and I keep hoping I don't have to do it again.
I really thought about it for a minute.
Close my eyes, tell myself that it doesn't have to make sense,
As long as I have a handle on how to feel
