Percy
Those stupid empousai. They nearly killed me.
Of course, it takes more than Tartarus to kill me. Heck, it takes more than Gaea to kill me.
Annabeth was with me, telling me about camp while I recovered. The only reason why Kelli was able to stab me with those goddam claws was because I was too tired to fight after vapor traveling.
Still, it didn't kill me. So that's all that matters. Also, Annabeth is here so that's also what matters. Heck, you could kill me and Annabeth together and we wouldn't care as long as we were together in Elysium.
Ok, I'm getting off track. Stupid ADHD.
"Seaweed Brain, how are we going to get out of here?" Annabeth asked me. I burst out laughing.
"For once, Wise girl doesn't know what to do and asks ME?" I was laughing like a maniac. She rolled her eyes.
"I've never heard about these 'elves' before, Kelp face. How am I supposed to know? You're the one who spent the most time with them." She countered.
"Well, they do this thing called light leaping. I guess it's like a portal." I explained how they had these little crystals and wands to help them go from place to place.
"If we could get our hands on one, we could get back to New York!" She mused. "I wonder what would happen if we could travel around the world on a beam of light, with no Zeus to blast you out of the sky!" I had to admit that I liked that, traveling on light instead of the sky where a certain Drama Queen could shoot lightning into you just because.
"But how?" I asked. "Apparently the Elvin Council wants me dead." Like most of the world, practically everyone wants to hunt me down.
"I could ask Alden for a pathfinder." A voice said behind them. Annabeth whipped around and saw Sophie waving shyly.
"Sorry, but I couldn't help overhearing you." She said. "I could help, since I already escaped the council twice before." She gave a little smirk.
"That would be great, Sophie, thanks." Annabeth thanked her. "Where's Nico?" Sophie shrugged.
"Said he would shadow travel somewhere, I think. Are you feeling ok, Percy?" She pointed to my dark circles. I nodded.
"Yeah, just lost some sleep." I couldn't possibly tell her about my nightmares. Not now, at least.
"Ok." I could tell she didn't believe me but didn't push me any farther. "I'll hail Alden and tell him about the pathfinder. He probably has tons of facets going to New York." She walked away carrying a small silver square, leaving us by ourselves except for Bullhorn, who was sleeping sound underneath Elwin's desk.
I yawned. "I'm getting tired." I told Annabeth. She smiled and kissed my cheek.
"Night, Seaweed Brain." She stands up and leaves the room. It takes a while for me to fall asleep, and when I did, I had a dream.
I was on Half-Blood Hill underneath Thalia's pine tree, with Rachel by my side. We were having a peaceful moment, when all of the sudden her eyes glowed green and smoke came out from her mouth.
"What? I thought the spirit of Delphi was extinguished!" I back up slowly as Rachel's glowing eyes rested on me.
"The seven shall rise
With the ones whom the shadows despise
To a land that was lost
Now rising from the dust
To join the swans that
Fly in the skies
The ones shrouded in darkness
The ones who have killed
Will be destroyed by the storm
With the Moonlark at his turn
[sorry guys this took so long to write!! I know it's supposed to rhyme in a pattern but i was kinda stuck]
The green smoke that curled around my legs dissipated, and Rachel collapsed.
"Rachel, what happened?" I asked her as she began to wake.
"I don't know." She replied. "But something is coming." Then she spoke in the voice of Delphi.
"Beware, Perseus Jackson."
[aaaand that's a wrap! Let me know how it is because im super bad at prophecies.]
