Ch - 76

Sidhant stand still in the living area, his heartbeat quickens at a speed that hard to register. All the miserable thoughts of blaming himself are transfers to the horrible fear of losing her, as his soul start feeling a lack of her presence in the air.

She just can't leave him like this, for such a small thing. Whatever he just said was only meant that he wanted to stay alone for some time, so that wouldn't say anything to her which he regrets later..

This is how things always been in his life, every time had any issue or fight in childhood he used to throw, broke everything in the house. At that time he feels relax by destroying their properties.. But didn't realise when it actually becomes a habit.

Every time something came, a situation which is hard to tackle with he end up breaking things. The habits of thirty-nine years, which isn't possible to change now or can say too hard.. He was living alone for twenty-two years, never been close to anyone after siraaj's death...

Kushal is with him, know everything as a friend but not the way naaz is.. After years he starts learning to share space with someone, getting used to their things... But it's still tough to control this anger and breaking things of him..

He never asks to leave her, he can't...ever.. . She is the only person he has in life, his only source of living, happiness, breathing everything.. His only family.. In his wildest dream also doesn't want her to leave, no matter what happens..

Earlier when he was living alone, with a plan to be like that forever..that time all was good.. Or can say he thinks like that.. But now, no.. She came as a dangerous wind and spread sprinkles of love on his lifeless life.. taught him to love, live, everything that he stop to believe due to the past..

Now he knows, that she is the only one he wants and need in life.. Don't even want to imagine a life without her, he doesn't want to live alone again because this time he will be all tarnished.. He might seem selfish, but doesn't care.. When you get something in life after so much of wait, it made you selfish to keep that thing carefully with you..

Wiping his face he is going to find his keys when the doorbell rings,. It can't be naaz because she has the keys.. Frowning he open the door and it deepens to see the security guard stand there..

"What happen?" He asked. The guard says by forwarding a paper, "Naaz ma'am ask to give you this." Now, this is going more confusing, her sending letter by the guard. Is she really just leave? And don't even want to see his face?

With a shivering hand, he opens the letter by closing the door, the heart is on the verge of blasting any second.

"Dear Racoon,

As I am guessing you might have broken your phone with your hand till now. Kudos to you for that..you should be awarded.."

He twists his lips on the line, hate her sarcastic comments sometimes.. "Sassy." He murmurs and read further..

"Don't worry I am not leaving you because of the stupid act..yet.. I have some work, will come after two-three days and my phone might be busy or switch off.. So don't have to try.. Now be alone as much as you want and enjoy.. By breaking few more items, this time legs and don't forget your idiotic head.. I should feel standing at a dump yard when will return. Bye.. the end of lecture..

Folding the letter that seems like a scolding session more than a letter.. She keep taunting him on every line, he feels like getting scold by a teacher. And what work? Till then he knows, there is no such work that would send her out for two-three days without phone service..

Where the hell she has gone? He does not remember about anything urgent she mentioned ever.
Her letter is the prove no one is leaving him but that doesn't mean he just sit here and wait. He have to know where she is? It's safe there or not? That she is driving or not? If it's a cold place, she takes warm clothes or not?

What type of food she might be getting there? And why there is no network? How will she call him if any emergency comes? She is having her headache medicines or not? Other also?

His mind suddenly hovered with so many questions and the most bold one out of all that.. How will he survive without seeing, talking or even listening to her voice? .. In a second it becomes the most important problem of his life..

He feels like someone banging a hammer on his head continuously, the headache is getting worse suddenly.. It's been more than twenty-four hours since they didn't hit the bed, cherry on the top got drenched in rain and had a stressful night..

"Fuck." He kick on the couch in irritation, and the realisation that she might also not well.. But where is she? Running fingers on his already messy hair he rushes inside the room which as per her comment, actually look like a dump yard..

Where he tries to found his broken phone, as unfortunately he doesn't remember anyone's number except naaz and the hospital. He pick the sim card which he blessed not broken as the phone, thinking to clean the mess later he take his keys and leave.

Naaz is looking outside the window, her fingers are tapping on the knees., the weather is still the same as night.. For some unknown reason, she loves this rainy season a lot if we remove the hectic traffic one have to face.. But she has ways to tackle that also...

A smile appears on her lips, remembering how she taught sidhant her way of passing the boring time of traffic.. Just then a voice broke her chain of thoughts,

"Are you sure, this will work?"

She turns her face towards kushal who is staring at her with raised brows. "Yes, his mind will divert from that incident and shift back to me. That will also give him the tension but at least it's better than the previous one.. It's needed to put pressure of other thoughts on his mind.

I hate to see him broken like that..and kushal.. Thank you so much for helping me.." She smiles at him..

Nodded he starts the car with a teasing smile, "I see,..you are using my psychic lessons..I am giving you A+ on this.. And no needs to thanks because he is my best friend,  I am just hoping that your plan works.. But girl, he will get mad by not finding both of us." He joked..

Naaz chuckles by shaking her head, "But what if he figures out that we are together? Because unfortunately he has a very intelligent brain also." She questioned by opening his picture on her phone.

Kushal answers, "I don't think so, as I was already out of town and return only this morning when you called me.. And he didn't know this.. So chill....just focus on what we are going to do.." He suggests with a winking smile.

Here sidhant buy a phone and call kartik, "Where is naaz?" He asked with an impatient tone. Kartik takes a moment then replies, "Doc she goes behind you, I didn't saw her after that." He pinched the bridge of his nose in irritation, "Fine,..tell me if you get any information.." Hang up he rest his head on the steering wheel.

Try to thinking where she would be? After calculating few things he decides to drive to her place. Nina might have an idea about that.. Till he remembers she never mentions anything about her family or parents, she share childhood stories, incidents but never properly mention any place..

She came to Mumbai during college, which clearly means her family is not living here. But he doesn't have the slightest idea, where? Maybe she goes to visit them, but why suddenly? Without telling him.. 'Because she is mad at you.'

That what her letter shows, he shouldn't have used that leave word. He swears that no matter what happens he will never use the leave word again, already she is planning to leave him after telling that thing.. Because her actual stupid brain thinks, he will ask her to leave..

Little did she knows he already know everything, just waiting for her to share herself. She called him stupid, but in reality, naaz sharma is the biggest stupid creature in the world.. And what is this behaviour of leaving like this? He gonna lock her inside the room from next time..

Parking the car he knocked on the door, not wanting to intrude on nina's personal space and he also forget the keys at home. She open the door after a minute, her brows narrowed and eyes look behind, "You guys didn't tell me, about coming today."

Rolling eyes he enters inside and looks all around the place, "Where is she?" He asked placing both hands on his waist. Closing the door she turns to him with a confused frown, "As far as I know, she should be with you." She shrugged..

Moving hands-on air he huffs, "No, your stupid idiot best friend go somewhere for work..by left a letter to the security guard  saying that her phone will be out of reach for two-three days.. Like seriously..where is she going,.in some forest of Africa... I am so pissed on her right now."

He moves towards her and asks with a stern voice, "Where is her home town? I think she is going to see her family, and you definitely know where they are?"

Nina stunned by his sudden throw of question, she really doesn't know where is she? But she can't answer his questions also, even after knowing everything.. Taking a deep breath she says, "See sidhant, I don't know where she is.. I swear..

And also sure that she won't ever go to her family or wherever they live.. But don't ask me why? Please..it's not my thing to share I am sorry." She sighed..

Making him more confused now, there is more thing that she doesn't share with him yet except the message. Is he still not capable of owning her trust? Why she just not tell him everything, sometimes it feels like she is the one treating him like a kid.

Two days passed still no sign of her, he has no idea she is even safe or not. This is the one most immature behaviour of her, if she doesn't want to talk to him at least can inform others that she is breathing properly.

His day, night every second passed by getting tensed about her.. More than missing now he is hell concerned about her well-being. Who pulled this type of stunt and just get vanished completely for days? She not even for once think what he might be going through..

It's giving him nightmare with the thought that what would happen if she never returns back? Once she came back, he definitely going to give her a very hard timing..not going to utter a single word to her.. Because now he is mad at her more than she ever imagine..

It's the third day, sidhant is in the hospital where he spend almost eighteen hours since two days. Hoping that she might be showing today, but it's afternoon and there is no sign of her yet.. The phone gone switched off as usual.

Naaz came out of the car in front of orchids, it been three days she is away from him.. But it's important for him, this is the only way she could make him understand the things without any lecture. Kushal tap on her shoulder from back, "All set, ma'am." He jokes..

Taking a few breath naaz smile at him and call kartik, who is right now with sidhant on his cabin. His eyes bulge out by seeing the name shows, sidhant narrows brows at him for a second then snatched the phone immediately, "Finally, she is calling.. But why you?" He snapped..

Shaking head kartik replies, "I don't know doc, let me put the phone on speaker." Nodded he passes the phone to him, "Hlw naaz." She says, "Listen kartik, bring sidhant to the ground floor immediately.. Tell him I am waiting there."

Before kartik replies, sidhant get-up and rush outside,.. Kartik cut the call and go behind him.. Both reach on the ground floor but there is no one, it's completely vacant..

Sidhant look all around with furrowed brows when he saw few people entering with having thank you balloons on their hands. Soon his eyes widened when he recognized all faces,...
