A/N - Just So you guys know, Mari is a Senior in school. She is not 14 yeas old. She was 17 last chapter, but now she is turning 18. If I see comments about Mari and Adrien being too young, I will laugh at you because you should've read the A/N of the stories.

Mari's POV

One week later

"Wake up Marinette!" Ugh... even on my birthday, I still have to wake up. "Come on Mari! I have a present for you!" "You got me some thing Tikki?! Aww you're soo sweet! What is it?" Tikki giggled. "You have to get up to find out...!" That was the first and last time I ever get up that quickly. "Tikki! Where is it?"

"On your desk...!"

I looked over and saw a small black box with a ladybug symbol on it. When I opened it up, there was half a yin-yan charm on it. "Aww! Tikki this is beautiful!" "Thanks Marinette! Every miraculous ladybug holder's spirit is connected to this charm. If you are feeling down, they can help you back up!" I was so overwhelmed with joy. "Tikki, you're the best! I love you so much!" Tikki went up to me and hugged my cheek. "Same to you Mari!" I went over to my desk and strung it on a black cord. After putting it on my neck, I swear I could feel at least a little bit luckier.

When I finished getting ready for school, I walked out the door and made it to school 15 minutes before the bell. I was on a roll today! 'Maybe that charm I got is giving me really good luck.' I saw Alya at the bench chatting with Nino and Adrien. 'Why don't I walk over there and see if my luck is good enough to stop me from stuttering...'

Adrien's POV

"Hey Alya, Nino, and Adrien!" Mari called our names and she was walking over to us. "What's up dudeette?" "Hey gurl!" Alya and Nino gave Marinette a high five. Them Marinette turned to me. "Hey Adrien! How have you been?" I was shocked. 'Marinette was always nervous around me. Now she has this confidence I have never seen from her' "Hi Mari! Um.. I've been good what about you?" Alya and Nino chose this moment to say something. "Um... Sorry Gurl I have to go work on something... with ... Nino! Bye!" Alya pulled Nino away and it was just me and Mari. "Ok.. that was weird, do you know if there ok Adrien?" I chuckled. "Aren't they always like that?" She had a point there, they were acting a little weird... "Well Mari, I was wonderin-" I was cut off my none other than Chloe. "Adri-kinsss!" Aww crap, this isn't going to work out very well...

"Hey Adri-kin's, what are you doing hanging out with Maritrash?"

"Chloe, for the last time, Marinette isn't trash."

"Come on Adri-kin's... She obviously got her clothes from a dumpster..."

Everyone was watching what the mayor's daughter would do next. I almost blew it. 'I seriously can't stand Chloe. Can't she just leave me alone?' I was about to defend Mari, but then she said something I will never forget.

"Hey Chloe, if I get my clothes from a dumpster, then you obviously copied my fashion statements."

When Mari said that, everyone's jaw dropped. Mari always stands up for herself against Chloe. 'But has Mari ever roasted her that hard? She might of been cute, but now she was most definitely Hot- whoa.. where did that come from?' Then you could hear laughter breaking out among the crowd. Chloe stormed off with Sabrina to get away from the laughter. Mari then turned to me. "Sorry about that Adrien. She was getting on my nerves..." I was about to respond, but then the bell rang for classes to start in 5 minutes. Mari called out in apology. "Sorry, I got to go to my locker before class starts. Bye Adrien!"

After 5 minutes

I got to class and just sat down. Mari has been gentle and sweet to anyone she meets. But I was really liking this new sassy side to her. 'She will be so amazed at the surprise birthday party Alya and Nino were preparing for her. She will love me so much for the part- Hold up...what am I thinking? Alya and Nino and throwing the party. And love? Marinette couldn't possibly love me. We're frien-' My thoughts were interrupted by Mrs. Bustier walking in and beginning the class.

After school

Mari's POV

I just got home from school when I got a text. Tikki went and brought my phone to me. "It's from Alya Mari." "Thanks Tikki" She smiled and handed me my phone. I went to see why Alya needed me. I picked up my phone and read the message Alya sent me.

Hey Gurl! I need your help!

With what? If I may ask?

Can you meet me at the park?

Is everything ok?

Taking my little sisters to the                                                                                  park wasn't the best idea...

Oh 😆I'd be glad to stop by and help you

Thanks so much Mari!

I'll be there as soon as 4:00.

"Looks like I have to go Tikki... Sorry I couldn't stay and send time with you." Tikki looked me in the eyes and smiled. "You're always there to help a friend in need! I'm proud of you Marinette!" I almost got tears as I smiled. "Aww Thanks Tikki!"

Ok guys I could help myself. I might just post 2 a week. I can't wait 2 weeks, the story, it's getting too intense. I'm actually busy on part 5 right now. I might even post 3 chapters a week. Thanks for all your guys support. If you Have ideas, post them, and if I see them, I'll give you credit. It your idea is in the story, but you didn't get credit, then I probably thought of the idea first. I gtg now, work on the stor- I MEAN HOMEWORK! Yeah, I need to work on homework...
