Oof. The drama. It's...It's too much...Read it before you change your mind....

Alya's POV

I was outside, looking around for Paris' heroes, one of them my best friend. I saw something going on, so I turned on my livestream and zoomed in on the top of the Eiffel Tower, where I could see, 'Mari tied up!? And Chat untying her?!' I kept my camera on the scene as I talked to those watching the livestream.

"Hey there, my friend, also known as Ladybug, is tied up on the Eiffel Tower! Chat Noir is there, helping her. He just untied her, but someone else is there. It looks like...Hawkmoth? Guys, It's confirmed, Gabriel Agreste has escaped prison and is holding Ladybug hostage, but he has her miraculous! She has no power whatsoever!"

I walk a bit closer the the Tower, trying to stay somewhat hidden from anything, but still get a good view. All of a sudden, there was an exposition and Mari went flying off the Tower. I frantically talked to the viewers.

"Guys! Marinette just flew off the Tower because of an exposition!Without Ladybug powers! Chat Noir is after her, but will he make it in time?! He..He caught her! Thank goodness!"

Then I look closer and see that Mari isn't moving, while Chat Noir begins to cry. Then I realize what happened.

"Mari...she...no....NO!!"

All of a sudden, Chat Noir was covered in a purple glow. After it left, Chat Blanc was there instead. I dropped my phone and it broke, ending the livestream, but I didn't care. I fell to the ground and began to cry out while sobbing.

"NO! MARINETTE! NO! PLEASE STAY! PLEASE!"

I continued to cry out to myself, until I heard someone. I turned around, not even caring if they saw me broken. I saw an older man with a small cane. He walked up to me and handed me a small black box. I looked at it and realized what it was. He spoke one word before leaving.

"RenaRouge..."

Nino's POV

I was running down the street, trying to get away from the danger at the school. I felt a ding in my pocket, telling me there was a livestream on the Ladyblog. I ducked into an alley to be safe, plugged in my headphones, took my phone out, and watched what was going on. I saw a zoom in of Mari and Chat at the Eiffel Tower. 'Mari, will she be ok? What's going on?' Alya began to speak on her livestream.

"Hey there, my friend, also known as Ladybug, is tied up on the Eiffel Tower! Chat Noir is there, helping her. He just untied her, but someone else is there. It looks like...Hawkmoth? Guys, It's confirmed, Gabriel Agreste has escaped prison and is holding Ladybug hostage, but he has her miraculous! She has no power whatsoever!"

'What?! Will Mari get out unscathed?' The video began to move a bit closer to get a better look at the scene. I heard a bang, and things flew off the Tower. Alya spoke up again.

"Guys! Marinette just flew off the Tower because of an exposition!Without Ladybug powers! Chat Noir is after her, but will he make it in time?! He..He caught her! Thank goodness!"

'Oh, whew! She is okay! Chat Noir got her!' Then I realized Mari wasn't moving at all. I spoke to myself. "No this isn't happening..." Alya yelled out.

"Mari...she...no....NO!!"

I was about to turn off the video and run over there myself, but then a purple glow enveloped Chat Noir. When it left, Chat Noir was no longer there. It was Chat Blanc. I heard a crack, and the stream ended. I assumed Alya just dropped her phone from shock. I sat down and began to cry. 'Mari was always so kind, she never deserved this..Why her...?'

After sitting there for only 5 minutes, I saw an old man walk up to me with a small cane. He extended his hand and gave me a small black box. I grabbed it and immediately knew what it was. He said one word before leaving.

"Carapace..."

Chloe's POV

I ran away after Ladybug/Marinette let me free. 'Out of all the people who were Ladybug, it was her?!' I felt so awful for everything I have ever done to her. I was always so rude and she risked her life to save mine anyway. I kept running until I reached the Eiffel Tower. I looked up at it, wondering why I ran this way. I was about to turn back, until I saw the akuma carrying Ladybug to the top of the Tower. I decided to follow to see if something was wrong. I ran up the stairs silently, making sure not to make my presence known to anyone.

After I got up there, I saw Ladybug tied up to a chair, with a gag in her mouth. I almost knocked something down and blew my cover when I saw who was taking her miraculous out of her ears. 'Hawkmoth?!' I stayed there for about 3 minutes in silence, until Chat Noir jumped onto the floor, rushing over and untying Marinette. After she was free and about to stand up, Hawkmoth called out.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you..."

Chat Noir gently let go of Marinette and stood facing Hawkmoth, separating Marinette from Hawkmoth's direct lane of view. Chat Noir growled and shouted out in anger.

"Back off! Where did you get your miraculous again?! How did you escape!"

Hawkmoth laughed deeply. "You are not the only one with ways to boost your Kwamis. I made several akumas that could go only to those with pure rage, giving me the ability to escape. I don't have the Butterfly miraculous, but I do have a better one instead."

I saw in his hand two little earrings, that he took from Ladybug, but now Marinette. Chat went to help Mari up, but she refused his help and spoke back with a broken voice.

"T...trap. If pressure is released on this chair, the mines under the legs will e...explode..."

Chat Noir turned back to Hawkmoth, who seemed to be enjoying this.

"You think it's entertaining to see lives in danger?! Would your dead wife want any of this?!"

"Shut It! I am doing this for her! I promised I would pay any cost to get her back!"

"Including the risking of lives of others? You think she would be very glad to be back if her life was at the cost of another?!"

"She wouldn't have to know that...Say goodbye to your precious partner.."

At that moment, the spot where Marinette was sitting exploded. Chat flew back because of the explosion and screamed out to Marinette.

"No!"

He jumped of the side, going to try and catch her. I wanted to look over the edge and see if she was okay, but I couldn't without risking my hiding spot. Hawkmoth deeply laughed, summoned an akuma, and sent it down the Tower. I saw Hawkmoth's purple mask glow, meaning he was talking to someone akumatized.

"Chat Blanc, all you want is your loved one back. I can give that to you, at the price of your miraculous."

A few seconds later, I see Chat Blanc jump up to Hawkmoth, holding Marinette, who was limp in his arms. I held back a scream as I covered my mouth in shock. My tears began to flow down my face constantly. I couldn't stop the tears, no matter what I tried. Hawkmoth held his hand out and spoke.

"Give it up. You will-"

Chat Blanc threw his staff at Hawkmoth. He barely missed it. Chat Blanc lifted his head slightly and spoke back to Hawkmoth.

"Thank you...for giving me the ultimate power to destroy you..."

Not much changed here, more like an explanation chapter. I wan't going to make this chapter originally, but I thought explaining might be a bit necessary, especially in this plot.
