Edit: Okay, I'm actually triggered right now. I tried posting the song "A Million Dreams", but it won't let me. When the story says Cue music, play that song from somewhere, or pretend it's playing b/c I can't seem to fix the problem. Sorry!

Ladybug's POV

I was somewhat shocked, but then continued to listen. "Well Chat, what about her do you like?" Chat sighed and looked in the distance. "She always cares and puts others needs before her. She took a blow for me during the NighTrama attack. I think I began to like her after I visited her often as a thanks for taking a blow. Thank you Ladybug for giving her that charm though. I felt awful that she had to have a cast." He looked back at me, then looked down. "Sorry I'm ranting again..." I quickly reassured him.

"No that is completely ok. What's wrong? Did she do something wrong?!" 'Crap I think I did something wrong!'

He looked up at me and then back down and blushed furiously. "I was planning on asking her to be my girlfriend tonight..."

My eyes widened in shock. 'He wanted me to be his girlfriend?! Of course!' I spoke carefully. "Well, why are you so scared? You legit faced and defeated Hawkmoth!"

"I don't want her to say No to me. No offense, but rejection is familiar to me and I don't want it to happen again...."

I instantly felt guilt rise in my chest. "Chat, the reason I rejected you was because there was someone else. I know Marinette has feelings for you."

He looked up at me sincerely. "How can you be so sure?"

'Oops..' "Well, She has talked to me since I gave her that charm. I can tell from the way she reacts around you that she likes you."

His mood brightened after I said that. "You really think so?"

"Of course! Isn't she waiting for you on her date though?"

His face changed from excitement to fear. "Oh no! She will hate me! I totally ditched her! Sorry LB, I gtg bye!"

I laughed, until I realized Chat would be looking for me. 'Should've thought that one through...' I went on the Effiel Tower's lower levels and de-transformed. I walked over to the elevator and went to where Chat had set up our date.

Chat Noir's POV

I jumped up the Effiel Tower to where I set up dinner. I looked around and couldn't find Mari anywhere. I sighed. 'She probably hates me for taking so long...' I walked over where a piano was sitting. I sat down on the bench and began to play, then sing.

Cue Music

"I close my eyes, and I can see, a world that's waiting just for me, that I call my home.

Through the dark, through the door, through where no ones been before, but it feels like home.

I continue to play as I look up and smile, seeing Mari walk towards me while singing.

"You may be right, you may be wrong, but say that you bring me along... To the world you see..."

I began to sing with Mari, who sat down next to me on the piano bench, at the same time.

"To the world I close my eyes to see, I close my eyes to see...."

I began so sing by myself again.

"Cause every night I lie in bed, the brightest colors fill my head..."

Mari continues with me in the singing.

"A million dreams are keeping me awake..."

I begin to harmonize with her. "A million dreams, a million dreams!

We then begin to sing together.

"I think of what the world could be, a vision of the one I see, a million dreams is all it's gonna take... A million dreams for the world we're gonna ma-ake...!

For the world we're gonna make...."

I look over at Mari, she had tears forming in her eyes as she smiled at me. "That was beautiful Chat! I loved it so much!

I thought back to what I had gotten Mari. 'It's now or never Chat! Get it together!' I slide off the bench and kneel on one knee, while opening a small box in front of Mari. Her eyes widened as she realized what I was doing.

"Marinette, you have shown me what it feels to have a companion that will always listen to you. Every time I came over, you showed me kindness, regardless of all of my claw-ful puns..."

Mari giggled at that statement as I continued.

"I can truly be myself around you without being criticized or having to be something else. Would you do me the honor of becoming my girlfriend?"

Mari sat there with a shocked expression, tearing up, for a few seconds. 'Good job Chat, you screwed up as usua-' My thoughts were interrupted by a sudden outburst from Mari.

"Of course Kitty!"

I barely had any time to register as she slid off the bench to me and kissed me. I was still for a moment, still registering, then began to kiss her back, just as intense. I breathed in her intoxicating scent, a mixture of all the sweets in the kitchen. We held onto each other, as if we could never let go.

"I love you so much, Kitty..."

"I love you too..."

Ok, I had problems with my laptop, so I had to use my tablet and switch back and forth between the notes app and YouTube to get the lyrics just right. It was so hard! But it was so with it at that. Don't leave just yet, another important detail needs to be mentioned. There will be at least 20 Chapters. The next one is very significant. Well, they all are, but don't leave just yet! I have a good plot coming...
