Recap: Vaibhav coming to meet Vaigha - her story shocking him - their conversation...

It was a weekend and Vaibhav decided to spend the day with his brothers and sisters as per their wish. He was working in laptop. But his concentration were somewhere else..He was thinking about his wife...she became a part of his life without his knowledge..It became difficult for him and her to not see each other for a day. They were trying to understand each other...He tried his maximum to concentrate on his work. But it didn't work...so he decided to make a call to her.
He dialled uncle's number and the call was answered without any delay.
"Vaibhu.. didnt you go to office today?" SathyaPratap asked.
"No.. I thought to work from home today..after all it's a weekend.." Vaibhav replied.
"Seriously.. I can't believe this.. what's the relationship between Vaibhav's work and weekend??" His uncle laughed from other end.
"Uncle stop this..."he shouted.
"Ok ok..May I know what's the purpose of this call now?" SathyaPratap asked and now Vaibhav is confused. He felt awkward.
"Uncle..I ...I just.... called to check whether...you all are fine.."he said while cursing himself for the foolishness.
"Seriously...my Vaibhav is tensed about us more than his work ..wow...it's a breaking news...I should call all medias to inform this great news..."His uncle teased him.
"Bye uncle....will see you later.."he was about to end the call when his uncle stopped him.
"Wait..wait....check yourself whether your wife is fine..."His uncle said and he smiled hearing it.

"Vaigha....."he heard his uncle calling for her loudly. He blushed.

"Hello...."he heard her voice from other end after sometime. He couldn't speak..just stood there without replying.
"Hello...who is speaking??" He again heard her voice and a small smile appeared on his lips.
"Vaigha..."he spoke for first time and she recognized the voice immediately. She smiled and blushed.
"Vaigha..are you there?" He asked.
She nodded.
"Hello Mrs..I cant see your nodding and gestures through this phone..I think video call is better to speak with my wife..."he said and she realized her foolishness. She bit her lips.
"Sorry..."she said without knowing how will he react.
"Great.. finally you spoke.."he laughed.
She smiled.
"Tell me something Vaigha.."he said and wait for her reply.
"What should I tell?" She asked confusingly.
"So you don't have anything to speak with your husband..ok I am ending the call then.." he said offended.
"No..Pls dont..Pls.."she shouted and he smiled.
"Then speak with me.."he said.
"Did you have your breakfast?" She asked.
"Yes..and you??" He asked.
"Hmm.."she said.
"Didn't you go office today?" She asked.
"I was about to go..but those monkeys stopped me..."he said and she laughed understanding his words.
"Where are they?" She asked.
"Arjun and Krithika are playing video games..wanna hear them na?" He asked while walking towards the hall.
"No no.."she replied.

"Arjun...reduce the volume and don't fight..."Vaibhav said loudly looking at his brother and sister who are infront of the TV playing game.
"Bhai..today I will beat this rowdy... today is Arjun's day..you will be proud of your brother at the end of this game..." Arjun shouted turning backwards and Vaigha heard his voice. She smiled.
"Bhai.. don't worry..your rowdy sis wont play fouls like your monkey bro..you will be proud of me when I win the game..."Krithika said and he heard Vaigha's laugh from the other end. He laughed along with her.

"How are they?"he asked moving away from them.
"Nice brother and sister.."she commented.
"My Einstein bro is infront of lap from early morning.."Vaibhav said moving towards Amar's room.
"He is trying to become another Vaibhav.."she said and he chuckled.

"Bhai..I have calculated our company's turn over for this year and made a comparison on the growth...come..let's discuss..I have some new plans for this year..."Amar said and Vaibhav smacked his head.
"Go and enjoy for sometime..."Vaibhav said.
"Who is saying this??" Amar was wondered.
"He is right..."Vaigha said making him smile.
"So you are already on their side..very bad..I will have a tough time in future..." Vaibhav said moving away from Amar and Vaigha bit her lips.

"Where is our baby doll?" She asked and he smiled.
He went to Sanjana who is hearing music with headphones..He caressed her hairs.
"Sorry..I can't let you hear her... she.."he stopped without completing.
"It's ok Vaibhav..I can hear her through my heart..." She said and he was surprised.
"Where is Anjali?" She asked.
He went to kitchen.
"My sister is busy in preparing new dishes for me..."he said
She giggled.
"Who is it bhai?" Anjali asked.
"My new client..."he said moving the phone away from her.
"Thanks to that new client.. because of him I can see many changes in my brother's life which are very remarkable..finally my workaholic bro found out the kitchen of this house... great change...."Anjali shouted in happiness and he became embarrassed.

Vaigha started laughing from the other end. He pouted.
"Give the phone to me...I should thank him.."Anjali said and he ran away with the phone. Anjali smiled seeing a new and funny Vaibhav.

"How is my family?" Vaibhav asked.
"Our family Vaibhav.."Vaigha corrected and he looked at his parents pic placed on the wall for a moment.
"Yes..our family.."he smiled.
"You are very lucky Vaibhav..you have a family who value you and your presence more than your money... their love is selfless and pure.. don't lose them for me..Pls..." Vaigha said and he can hear her sobs.
"Vaigha...are you crying?" He asked in concern.
She didnt reply.
"Ok..if you are crying because of me, then I am not going to talk with you anymore.."he pouted.
"Vaibhav...Pls don't..I stopped crying..."she said.
"Good girl..now smile..I should see your smile here..." He said and she was confused.
"How is it possible?" She asked.
"You smile...if your smile is true and I am the reason for it, then I can see it with my heart.."he said making her wonder.
She smiled wholeheartedly.
"Yeah. Got it..."he said placing his hand on his heart.
"Why are you crying? You yourself said a few minutes ago that its our family...they are yours too" he said and she wiped her tears.
"Will you come today?" She asked hesitately.
"Let me see..I will come tonight if these monkeys give me a space." He said and she smiled in happiness.
"I will wait.."she said.
"Ok see you then...bye."he said.
"Bye..thank you.."she ended the call.
He smiled remembering their conversation and fall on bed.
"She is perfect for our family..mom,dad....I am sure ..my brothers and sisters will like her.."he said looking at his Parents pic on wall.

Vaibhav's PoV
"Why are you not talking?" I asked at the twins and they looked at each other. Then they passed their confusing look to the girls. They stood like they don't know anything.

"Anjali...what are you all hiding from me?" I asked looking at Anjali.
"We are about to say something important to you..."she replied.
"That's I am asking..what's it?" I asked.
"Bhai..its nothing... about your marriage only..." Krithika said as if it's a simple matter.

I was shocked.
"We are searching for a girl for you..and we almost found one who will be the exact match for you..."Anjali said.
"Girl..???? Who told you to find a girl without my permission? Is it a joke??" I asked glaring at them.
"Did you forget about the promise?" Krithika asked me and I didn't know what to say.
"Bhai..we haven't done anything wrong...we found a girl only because you agreed to marry the girl we chose for you.."Arjun said.
"You should see her first...you will definitely like her" Anjali said.

I was trapped..wht can I do now?? How can I marry a girl when I am already a husband?? How can I hurt my siblings?? I should tell them the truth...it's very danger to delay it...

"I cant marry the girl whom you choose.... because..."I stopped seeing Sanjana...
I saw Sanjana's face becoming sad.
"I agreed to marry..but not now...I need more time.." I said and Sanjana ran away from me crying.
"Sanju...stop..Pls hear me..." I followed her.
She ran inside her room and locked from inside. I was worried. God...what have I done!!!

"Sanju..open the door..I didn't forget about the promise..."I shouted. But there was no response from inside..
"Sanju..open the door...see your bhai won't break the promise he given to you...."Anjali said and I was confused.
"Pls open Sanju..."Amar shouted.

Suddenly room door opened. Sanju came from inside and stood infront of me. She gave me the writing pad. I read it.
"Will you marry the girl we choose or not?? Were you cheating us???" I looked at her in shock reading it.
"Sanju...Pls hear me...I will marry definitely...but I can't do it now...I have something to say...listen it..."I said and suddenly she started shivering. And the next second, she fall on floor. Finally it happened what I was scared off these years. I quickly lifted her from floor and laid on bed. Anjali poured water on her face..but she was unconscious and didn't stop shivering..she was calling for mom in unconscious state...tears were coming from my eyes and everyone became helpless seeing Sanjana like that.
"Amar..call the doctor.."I shouted.

Doctor came within minutes. He examined Sanjana and came to me after that.
"Mr.Vaibhav....did she have any mental problem?" Doctor asked me and I saw Arjun clenching his fist in anger. I gestured him to be calm.
"No doctor.. not at all..."I said.
"Is it the first time she is behaving like this?" He asked again.
"No... third time..."I said hesitately.

I remembered when she fall like this seeing our parents dead body. She was very small that time. And the next time...I don't want to remember it once again...that cursed day of our life....I always wanted to save her from every shock and now it again occurred all because of me. I closed my eyes.

"Mr.Vaibhav.... May be you will feel as foolishness..but it's true..She is not in a good state of mind..." Doctor said and I hold the pillar for a support...I knew it earlier...when she fall for the second time,I asked the help of a famous psychiatrist from US. He already told me that she have some mental problem and her mind is very weak...I didn't want to tense her or my siblings with that..so I hided it from others..No one knows it except me and the doctor...even uncle and aunty too..I dont want the world to see my sister as a mental patient..the doctor has adviced me to not make her tensed and shocked. She will be normal till her mind is happy and relaxed. But now...

"Doctor..what are you saying about our sister?" Arjun became angry.
"The continous shocks affected her a lot...her mind is very weak..she can't handle another shock in her life..."doctor said and everyone became tensed.

"She is very sensitive..don't make her tense and worried..treat her like a little kid..and don't disagree for her any wish....it will make her health worst...Pls be alert..it's better to consult a psychiatrist asap.."doctor left.

I looked at the shocked faces around me. I was not getting what to say...
"Bhai..are you happy now?? See your baby doll...if you can't keep the promise, why did you gave her hope?" Anjali asked and I was shocked. This is the first time she is questioning me.

"It was her who became most happy when you agreed for marriage..she really cared for your life...and now..why did you do this to her?" Krithika asked me.

"Bhai..she really loves you...and we love her a lot..we can't see her in this state once again...Pls do something to save her bhai..we want her back..."Arjun cried hugging me. It is the first time I am seeing him this much weak...he was always strong...but now..he also became weak. I wiped his tears.

I looked at Amar who is standing like a statue..he was not portraying any emotions. I understood that he is trying to control his tears.

I opened the door where Sanjana is laying. I sat beside her on bed and kissed her forehead. She opened her eyes and smiled at me.
"Sanju..I am sorry...."I said and she just hold my hand.
She gestured me to not cry and I quickly wiped my tears. She searched for her writing pad and immediately Arjun gave it to her. She wrote something and showed it to me.

"I want to see your marriage..Pls bhai..."I read it.
I closed my eyes and remembered Vaigha's face. I opened my eyes and hold Sanju's hand.
"Dont disagree for her any wish.."Doctor's words echoed in my mind.
"I agree for this marriage...."I said killing my heart.

I heard whispers and happy voices around me. Sanjana hugged me in happiness. I acted as happy..no one heard the sorrow of my heart. I cried silently without anyone's notice.
"Sorry Vaigha..."I whispered to myself.
