Life is always unpredictable. God always gave me his helping hand whenever I was helpless. Now its in the form of my little sister who is my life. I looked at her who is now playing with Vaigha and Nandini aunty. Her flawless smile is the biggest asset of my life. I want to keep that smile always on her face like this. Nothing I can do more for my little sister. I smiled seeing how she laughing at Vaigha and then hugging her. I remembered about her notes and still it feels a dream for me.
Happiness can also make humans mad. And I am living that state now.

I laughed unknowingly and thats when Vaigha turned to look at me. She raised her eyebrows naughtily.
I shook my head. But she pouted. And that increased my laugh.

"Vaibhav.."I heard uncle calling me from outside the house.
I immediately went to look for him.
I saw him walking in the lawn.
"Uncle..."I stood beside him.

"Vaibhav....are you ok?"
I wondered why he asked me that. Yes..I am perfectly ok.
"Why are you asking this? Am I seems to be not ok?" I asked confusingly.

"I feels strange.. I was watching you for last one hour. You are laughing and smiling like mad people. I don't know whether someone will laugh without any reason. Unless he is mad.."he stated and I wish to bang my head on a wall. I felt awkward to face him.

Vaibhav..you are a loser..why can't you control your emotions? Is it necessary to make others think that you are mad. I cursed myself.

"Uncle..that..I...where is Kishore?"I didn't get any other topic to divert him.
"He is there at balcony..He seems to be another mad man. Always thinking...I don't know what's there to think so much."he said

When did he start thinking so much? And why? I hope he is not thinking about leaving to Banglore again.

"Let me talk with him."I excused uncle and went to balcony to find Kishore on his thinking mode. Wait..Is he little more handsome today? Or did he apply some makeup today?

I moved towards him and turned him to face me. He was shocked seeing me infront of him.
"What's wrong with you brother?"I asked straight.
"Bhai..when did you come? I didn't see you coming."he said faintly.
"Not the answer to my question. First of all tell me why are you standing here alone? All others are celebrating downstairs."I said.

He looked down.
"Hey.. Why are you not responding?"I asked.
He just smiled at me.
"I am asking you again..why are you here standing alone when all others are spending time together and celebrating?" I asked this time little harsh.
"Because I was always alone. No one was there with me.. not even my parents.."
His answer shocked me.

"You are the one who chosen to be alone..no one forced you to leave us. Its the life you choose over your family. Then why are you now regretting?"

He stared at me with eyes which conveyed a lot of emotions.
I understood he needs me now.
I gave him a brotherly hug.
"I am your bhai..If you feels alone, it's a failure for me. You decided to stay away from us. But I can't make you alone like that. That's why I paid visit to you whenever I came to Bangalore. I know you are hiding a lot from us. If you really seeing me as a brother, respecting me..you should talk with me open. It's not too late. But you should open your mind atleast now."I said.

"I want to live like you all. I really missed the comfort of a family for years."he said surprising me.
Only God knows how much I wished to hear this from him. Now he is on right path. This day brings a lot of happiness for me. Such a great day.

I hold his shoulders.
"Tell me when did you talk with your dad last time?"I asked.
"I talks with him daily."he answered.
"It was just a talk..for the sake of answering...did you ever talk with him full of love atleast for the last 5 years?"I asked what I wanted to ask for a long time.

"Could you ever talk with him like you talk with your mom? He is a great dad. You don't have any idea how much he loves you." I added.
He smirked and I felt it as a taunt for his dad.

"You are feeling alone in a big family because you are always confined to your world. You are missing your family because you didn't find time for your parents.. Parents come first in the family. I dont know what's your problem with your dad. But whatever it is you should talk with him and solve it man. It's your responsibility to keep your parents happy. In return they will do anything to make you happy too.."I said caressing his hairs.

He gave me a genuine smile this time.
"I will...I want to be like you..all are loving you bhai..I also want that love. I want everyone to respect me like they are treating you. May be I can't become you, but I just want to give a try.."he said with a pleasant face.
I was equally relaxed.
"You can.. because you are my brother."

"Now tell me..how can I help you? What were you thinking?" I asked.
"Actually I was thinking about you.."he said and I was confused.
"I wanted to present a matter infront of you. But I was confused how to..now I am feeling relaxed."he said.
"You can ask me anything my dear..Dont keep suspense..tell me what should I do for you?"I encouraged him.

"Will you do anything for me?" He asked.
"Ofcourse you can believe me..See this is a day when my siblings can ask anything from me. I will fulfill your wish whatever it is."I stated.

"I know.. Till now I didnt ask you anything on this day. But today I need your help..will you fulfill my first wish?" He asked.
"Yes brother.."I smiled.
I am happy that finally he started sharing his wishes and sorrows.

"I just want a companion.. I also want to enjoy my life..I want to live in a family. For all that I need a girl who can understand me. Who can love my family. Who can adjust to our lifestyles..."

"Wow..thats great..I will ask uncle to find a girl for you."I interrupted him in excitement.

"I didn't finish yet bhai. I have already found my girl. And it's none other than Anuradha."he said exploding a bomb infront of me.

I was shocked such that I lost the ability to think too. I couldn't respond in anyway. Anuradha...How could he think like that?

"I had a feeling that she will be the best one for me on first sight itself. And when I start observing her, I understood that she can love everyone. Like how she taking care of our family eventhough we are not anyone to her.. No one can hate her. Even dad and mom loves her a lot..I want her..I love her..Can you pls help me to marry her?"he asked.

Did he ask my help to marry my own wife? Idiot.. she is my wife man. How should I react? Did I promise him to fulfill his wish just a few minutes ago? What to do now?

"Kishore..you dont know anything about her. How can you love someone who dont even remember her name? And do you feel that she can love you back? What if she is already married?" I asked

"She is not looking like a married woman"he said.

Seriously? Should I show you her wedding chain? Or do you want our marriage certificate?

"Kishore..Pls try to understand me. We cannot request her to marry you when we don't even know who she is. What if she gets her memory back one day and go back to her real family?"

"She won't get her memory back. Even if she remembers her past, she can't simply leave her husband. I am sure..she is a woman of self respect." He said making me surprise. How can he assume simply as her husband when I am here?

When did my brother fall for my own wife? Did I miss something?
I suddenly remembered how he used to praise her even for small matters just like I do, how he decided to stay back after meeting her, how he talks sweet with her, how he danced with her that day and finally how she warned me about his behavior. And that's it. I didn't give importance for her worry that time. I defended him and warned her. Goshhh..It's all my mistake. Unknowingly I encouraged him. Omg!!! I recollected her words and I lost all my senses.

"Kishore..she is not a match for our family. You can't marry her."
I don't know what made me to speak that. But his face changed with my statement. His face became red and he looked at me in rage. What happened to him suddenly?

"Why can't I? Am I not match for her? Don't I have a job? I owns a company without anyone's help. I love her. And she respects me a lot. Few days back she requested me to not go back. She asked me to settle here permanently with my family. She loves my family too. Why can't I marry her?"
His questions made me frozen.

It was me who wanted Kishore to stay back with his family. Just for uncle and aunty's happiness. Knowing about my worries she decided to help me and that's why she requested him. How can I make him understand that she is loving me and not him? It's better he know the truth.

"Kishore.. Listen to me..she is your sister..you can't marry her.. because she is my..."

"Stop it..."before I complete he shouted at me. It was a shock for me. This is the first time he is shouting at me. He became violent. That's the truth. His eyes showed his anger and frustration.

"For God sake she is not my sister. I didn't see her with that eyes. May be she is sister for Arjun, Amar and you. But for me she is not a sister. I love her."he declared.

I didn't know that he is dangerously in love with her. His reaction scared me. He didn't shout for anything till now. Now he is doing all this for my wife. Even if he know the truth it will only break relationships. I don't want to loose him so easily.

"Bhai..You always fulfill your siblings wishes. You have done everything for all others. But this is the first time I am asking something from you.. I want to marry her and I cant live without her." He asked hopefully.

It's true that he didn't ask me anything till now. But now he is asking for my wife. The girl whom without I can't live. The girl whom I married. And does he know she can't love anyone other than me? He should know.

"Do you think she will accept you?"I asked.
"If you ask she will definitely." He said.

Oh god. Should I ask my wife to marry my brother? And do you want me to see you in ICU? You don't know anything about a violent Vaigha.

"I am thinking about proposing her."he said giving me another shock.
Proposing?? God...save him. She is gonna slap him if he propose her.
"Wait Kishore..I will talk with her. After that we can decide what to do.."I said to stop him.
He smiled at me.
"I believe you."he said and simply left.
He believe me. Was it an emotional threat?

And do you really think that I will ask my wife to marry you? It's not me.. only elders can solve this. I decided to talk about it with his parents. Only they can make him understand.

I walked inside and suddenly someone hugged me from back. I turned to see Vaigha smiling at me while wrapping her arms around my chest. I wanted to return her smile. But couldn't.

"Someone don't have time for his wife. Always busy with his brothers and sisters. Lucky they are... poor me."she pouted.
I looked at her innocent face.
"Did you forget me?" She asked and I couldn't control. I hugged her tightly after turning back. She was surprised and confused.

"How can I forget you Vaigha?"I asked emotionally.
She broke the hug and cupped my face.
"Anything worrying you?"she asked with concern.
"Nothing..."I tried to dont show her.
"Because you are calling me by name instead of Mrs. I know you are trying to hide something from me."she said and I became alert.
"Hey..it's nothing Mrs.."I fixed a smile on my lips.
"Dont take my words seriously. I was just joking. You didn't forget me till now. Instead gave me all your time.."she said and I pulled her closer.

How can I give you to someone else dear? I kissed her forehead and then nose. She smiled slightly.
"I am just ok. If it is not to me, then to whom you would complain?" I asked and she pinched my nose.

"Naughty wife..." I commented.
She pouted and I kissed her cheek when she finally smiled wholeheartedly.
"Let me go..I have to make a special item for today's lunch." She said.
"For whom?"I asked.
"For my Sanju.."
"Only for your Sanju?"
"then Anjali.. then Arjun, Amar, Krithika..and then.."she paused.
"Then..???"I asked.
"Then to uncle and aunty..."she said funnily.
"Not for me ah?"I pouted.
She giggled.
"Do you need anything special? I am all yours and whatever I make its for you dear husband.."she said and I felt extremely happy.

"Now get ready for a super duper lunch.."she said leaving me and slowly walked away.

I looked at her till she vanish from my sight. And then my smile faded away. Kishore's words started echoing in my ears. I am helpless. I can't do anything for him. I am not able to fulfill his first and only wish. I can't...!!!
