Recap: Baby kick - Baby Shower.

Ishana's PoV
It's one week still remaining for my expecting date and my husband already admitted me in hospital before two weeks of the date. Yes..I am now at hospital enjoying some fresh air through the window...I am already bored in the hospital...And the most funniest part was...my entire family shifted to the hospital along with me. Finally the doctor had to ask Appa and angels to go out from here...and now I am alone with my sweet husband..I feel pity on me.. I hate hospitals.

I looked at Sharan who is silently sleeping on the couch...poor man..he is really tired after shifting to hospital..he is the one who is running for my every needs...even doctor and nurses give their way to Sharan.. because they know Sharan wants to do everything for me himself...he won't allow anyone for it..once doctor  joked that he would be the one taking my delivery also.. May be.

I sat on the couch and caressed his hair..I am feeling something special today... I again walked towards the window and started enjoying the sights. Suddenly I felt a small pain in my stomach..I didn't mind it and continued my gaze on hospital scenarios. Gradually the pain increased and I became unable to move due to huge pain....and the time has arrived for the new member of our family..

"Ahhh..."I screamed holding my baby bump..
"Sharan..." I called sitting on ground.

Sharan's PoV
"Sharan..."I woke up hearing Isha's voice.

I was shocked to see Isha sitting on ground holding her belly. I rushed to her and held her in my arms. I was really worried seeing her in that condition.

"What happened Ishu?"I asked.
As a response she caressed my cheek and smiled.
"Our baby is coming.."she said in-between screams.
I smiled hearing her words.. I kissed her forehead.

"Doctor..." I shouted at the top of my voice.

Soon the nurses came and shifted her to a moving bed. They started moving it to labour room.
"Dont worry thinking about anything..I am here with you.."I kissed her forehead.
"Appa and angels.."she asked while wincing in pain.
"I will inform them..don't worry..."I placed my palm on her belly.
"Sharan..dont be angry at our baby if I.."I stopped her. I know what she is going to tell..

"Shut up.. nothing will happen to you..we will together raise our baby giving her all happiness.."I assured.

Soon we reached the labour room. Nurse asked me to wait outside.
"I love you" I kissed her forehead and hand before she was taken inside the labour room.

Sharan was roaming outside the labour room. He is really worried and excited.. Varna,Veena and Durga are also waiting for the good news...they are also in tension..Durga is praying for Isha and the baby...

"Sharan..you pls sit here.. nothing bad will happen .."Durga said to Sharan.
"I dont want anymore babies..I can't handle this tension of standing outside the labour room waiting for my wife and baby..I can't once again go through this..."Sharan said holding his head.

Durga and angels laughed hearing him.
"It's the birth right of every man..soon it will be replaced with happiness..think about that moment..think about your wife who is bearing all the pain for your baby inside this room..."Durga said pointing towards the labour room.

Sharan made a sad expression. He is thinking about it and he couldn't continue it..he sat on the bench losing all his strength..

"God, pls return back my wife to me along with an healthy baby...."he prayed.

After sometime the door of the labour room opened and Dr.Neelima came outside with a smile fixed on her face. Sharan rushed towards her.
"Is my wife ok?" He asked first.

"Dont you want to know about your baby?" Doctor asked in confusion.
"Tell me first that Isha is safe.."he said.

"She is perfectly ok...and your daughter also..."Doctor said for which Sharan smiled wholeheartedly. He covered his mouth with his palm.

"Dad,my princess"he hugged Durga with teary face. Durga and angels were also in same state...they hugged each other and then their brother..

Doctor gestured the nurse to bring the child.

"Congrats Sharan" Doctor shook hands with Sharan.

Soon the nurse brought the child wrapped in a towel and handed over to Doctor.
"Come Sharan.. here is your daughter whom you waited for many months.."Doctor asked Sharan to took the baby..but he hesitated for a moment..

"No.. what if I hurt my baby?? Isha will kill me... I have promised her that I won't hurt my baby...I don't know how to take a baby too.."Sharan said looking at her princess's face...

"You have waited such a long time to take your daughter in your arms..and now Dont tell this..you are her father..receive her Sharan.." Durga asked and Sharan took the baby from doctor's hand with shivering hands.

Durga and angels gathered around the little bundle of joy sleeping in Sharan's hand.

Sharan kissed his daughter's soft forehead and little hands. He made her arm encircle his forefinger. Sharan smiled with joy..tears made his vision blurred..but he was not leaving his princess's little fragile hand. He started caressing her small legs and feet while kissing there. He kissed her infinite times...the Little princess opened her mouth a little and smiled slightly....Sharan closed his eyes capturing that moment in his heart....

"Why she is so small?"Sharan asked moving fingers through her fragile hands and legs.
"She is just born Sharan" Durga replied.

Soon Durga took the baby and angels started kissing their niece...

"She is really looking like a princess" Veena said excitedly.
"She is my little angel.."Durga said.

Sharan hugged his both sisters in happiness..and he Suddenly remembered the person who brought this happiness in his life..he rushed back to the doctor who was enjoying their happiness.
"Isha..."he asked.
"She had to bear a lot of pain during delivery... comparatively higher than normal delivery cases.."before doctor completing Sharan rushed towards the labour room.

"Sharan what are you doing?" Doctor asked stopping him.
"I need to see her..now itself..Pls don't stop me.."he said.

"She is now ok..but she slept after child birth as she was very tired..pls dont disturb her now..her body needs  rest now..she is very weak..Pls understand Sharan.."the doctor requested her.

"She was the one who should have see our princess first..."Sharan said.
"Dont worry.. before going to sleep she saw her baby and gave her the first kiss.."doctor said making him happy.

"Doctor pls..I Want to be with her now..I swear I won't wake her up from sleep..Pls allow me to go inside.."he requested.
"Ok...go inside..I know how much you both struggled for this moment" doctor permitted him inside.

Sharan saw Isha sleeping on the bed. A smile occurred on his lips..a smile of satisfaction..he went near her and kissed her forehead..and soon he took her palm on his hand and kissed slightly.
"Our princess has arrived.."he whispered kissing her earlobe.

She opened her eyes slowly feeling his touch. She saw Sharan smiling at her....her eyes started searching for their most awaited baby... Sharan sat beside her and wrapped his arms around her belly slightly kissing there.

"Sharan..our baby..."she asked while searching for her baby..
Sharan gave the most beautiful smile as a response.
"I will come soon"he excused her and went outside. After a few minutes, he came inside again. Ishana's eyes widened seeing the little one in his arms... this was the moment for which she lived till now...to see her baby in her husband's arms....he is holding their baby carefully and walking slowly..her eyes welled up with happy tears..

Durga and angels were behind Sharan.

She tried to get up from bed..but Sharan made her lay on the same position..He placed their baby on her chest...she smiled closing her eyes.
"My little idiot..our princess.."he said supporting the baby with his hands.
She encircled her hands across her chest placing her baby close to her heart. She kissed her baby's hair.

"Sharan I Want to carry her in my arms.."she requested.

Sharan took the baby from her chest and made her sit straight. He slowly placed their princess into her hands. Soon she started kissing their baby while letting tears flow..she was not satisfied with her kisses and continued her actions..He was enjoying the mother-daughter moments. When Varna went towards Isha,he stopped her from stopping this happy moments and hugged her. Sharan sat beside Isha and kissed her forehead.

"Thank you for bringing this happiness to my life... thanks for giving me our princess..."he kissed Isha's both cheeks and took the baby into his arms as a proud father. Angels and Durga came to Isha and kissed her. She hugged angels to her heart....

Soon the baby started crying in Sharan's arms and he was worried. He looked at Isha anxiously.
"I haven't done anything to make her cry.... Believe me..."Sharan said for which Isha started laughing resting her head on the pillow in her arms.

Doctor along with a nurse entered into the room.
"Baby must be hungry...it's time to feed her... Sharan, give her back to Isha..." doctor said looking at a worried Sharan. Durga immediately left from the room making space for her to feed baby.

Sharan kissed her baby once again and placed her into his wife's hands.
"Eat your meals baby..fill your stomach...I will be waiting to play with you..."Sharan whispered on baby's ear.
Baby smiled slightly as if she understood something.

"What are you waiting for Isha? adjust your dress and feed her..the nurse will help you..."Doctor said coming close to Isha.

"First ask Sharan to go outside..."Isha pouted and Sharan looked at her with opened mouth. While the others started laughing hardly...Sharan left from the room. Angels stayed with Isha and the nurse closed the room.

Sharan's PoV
I went outside the room and sat on a bench happily. I looked at my both arms which carried my baby just few minutes before. I smiled at the thought of Isha feeding my baby... Today is the most happiest day in my life...I am a father now...I closed my eyes and saw a beautiful scene...My princess laying beside Isha absorbing her warmth...I have waited for this day eagerly..and now I am doubting whether it's a dream.... Thanks princess for coming into my life as my daughter... Thanks Isha for filling my life with all happiness ..for bringing colors to my life...You are the best thing ever happened to me..

It was the day of discharge and Sharan is already excited to bring his little idiot to their home...He have arranged everything in their home to welcome the new member... He entered into the hospital room after paying the bills..there he saw his baby crying in Seetha Akka's hand...He immediately took the baby from her and the little princess stopped crying seeing her father...he smiled at her and bring her to his Isha...

"See... my baby stopped crying seeing me.."he said proudly to Isha. It is true.. whenever Sharan took her,she stops crying... Isha kissed the baby.

"Our princess started recognizing your voice... that's why she stop crying hearing your voice..." Isha said leaning her head to his shoulder.
"Is it?"he asked excitedly.
"Yes..you are the one who talked more to our baby when I was pregnant with her...so she can identify your sound.."Isha's words excited him more and more..

"Baby, are you excited to see our beautiful home? We will take you there soon..."Ishana said leaning on to baby's face... Sharan smiled.

"Her face is like Ishudi...but her nose is just like bhaiyya..."Varna said.
"No no..nose is like our dad..and the ears are very long just like bhaiyya...The face is completely Ishudi's.."Veena argued.
"Is it Sharan? " Isha asked.

Sharan held her hand.

"Yes.. She is just like her mother.. exactly like you.. and I love it..."he said for which she blushed.

"But the eyes are yours.."she said making him smile.
Isha took baby from Sharan's hand and made her lay on her lap.
"My beautiful princess..home is Waiting for you..."she brushed her nose on baby's body.. the baby started smiling feeling tickling...

Sharan and Isha held their little angel together while Janimaa gave aarti to save them from all evil eyes..with pride they entered into their home along with their princess..Durga took the baby from her parents.

"This is our home princess...your home..."Durga said happily.
"Come baby..let's play" Veena and Varna started their fighting to hold the baby..
"Be careful..."Durga said while handling over the baby to her aunts.

Isha went to their room and widened her eyes seeing the entirely changed room..it is well arranged perfectly to welcome a new born baby..the walls are already filled with their baby smiling pics..the wardrobe is almost full with baby dresses and toys..she held her head.

Suddenly she felt two arms wrapping around her waist. She leaned her head back to his shoulders while he started kissing her hairs.

"Thank you Ishu for being the reason of my every happiness..."Sharan said. She smiled.
"Sharan.."she turned back feeling his tears on her shoulder.
"What's this?"she asked while wiping his tears.
"Happy tears...." He replied kissing her forehead and cheeks.
They hugged each other sharing their happiness. They stayed in the same position for a few minutes...
They broke apart hearing a cough...
There stands Veena at the door with the baby in her hands.

"Romance started???"Veena teased them for which Sharan twisted her ear.
"Ishudi..she might be hungry... feed her.."Veena gave the baby to Isha and left.

Isha made her baby lay on bed and turned back to see Sharan locking the door. She narrowed her eyes at him.
"What? My princess is hungry..feed her with her favourite meals..."he said naughtily.
Isha scratched her head. Sharan laid beside the princess on bed.
"Sharan..Pls..go outside.."she requested.
"Are you going to ask this to me everytime when you feed my baby? Come on Isha....my baby needs food now...and I am your husband dear .."he winked while playing with baby..Baby is smiling hearing her parents conversation eventhough that poor soul couldn't understand anything..

"You are completely an idiot Sharan.."she said while unhooking her blouse and allowing the baby to have her meals. The baby sticked to her body while having food. Isha patted baby's back. Sharan is looking at both of them without blinking his eyes. He closed his eyes clicking this moments to his heart while holding Isha's hand on the baby.

At Night
Isha took the little princess from cradle and brought her to bed. She is sleeping peacefully. She made her lay in-between her and Sharan. Sharan kissed his baby.

"From today onwards I will have to carry two sleeping babies on my chest." Sharan asked and Isha raised her brows in doubt.

Surprising her, he carried the baby on to his chest and made the little one sleep on his chest. She kissed the baby and then Sharan.

"Come here"Sharan pulled her to him and encircled his one hand over her neck and another hand slightly on his sleeping baby. Isha placed her hand over his hand on the baby.

"What would I do when I get a bundle of kids?" He asked making Isha shock.
"What??"she asked.
"Let's fill this home with our kids.."he winked at her.
She pinched his arm.
"Shhhh...baby will wake up..let her sleep peacefully on her father's chest.."he said making her silent....
He kissed his baby and then Isha.
"Good night princess and my queen"he said making her chuckle.
"Then good night my king..."she pressed her body more to his chest and closed her eyes.

At Morning
Sharan woke up to see the most beautiful sight of his life..There stands infront of him,his Isha carrying their princess in her arms.

He smiled at them and prayed to God to see this sight every morning at first...he got up and went towards them.
"Good morning pappa" Isha said on behalf of their baby.
"You both made my morning very good" he nuzzled his nose on Isha's neck while taking the baby from her.
She smiled.

"Good morning my beautiful princess..why did you wake up this early? Are you also a early morning girl like your mamma??"he asked while the baby started smiling.

"Your baby is very stubborn just like you Sharan.."she complained.
"She should be.. because she is my daughter."he said proudly.
"She woke up at 5 am and didn't allow me to sleep after that...and the best part was whenever I close my eyes accidentally she started crying...she wants all our attention..."she said kissing baby's arms.

"Let's do a strike together for your mamma's attention baby...we want our Isha..we want our Isha...how is my slogan?" Sharan asked to baby for which the princess made a sound. They both looked at her in wonder.

"See.. she starts responding...my princess.."He kissed his baby's forehead.
Isha looked at his happiness. She tried a lot to hide her tears.
"The very next time when you cry, we both will scold you together.. understand?" Sharan pulled Isha to his chest and kissed her forehead. She hugged him and the baby together. He held both his wife and baby in his safe arms.
"I will bring your coffee"she turned to leave but Sharan pulled her back to him.

He made her sit on the bed and placed the baby in her lap.
"From today onwards your priority should be our baby...Me and my angels are brought up without getting true love of a mom...you made that sorrow to vanish from our life....Our baby should not miss the love and care of a mom..you should be with her always..and don't worry about me or any other thing...we will manage it..you dont need to sacrifice alone for our baby..she is my responsibility too and as a father I will do whatever I can do for her.......we will share all our jobs together for our princess.. "he said making her cry.

"Isha..."he pulled her to his chest and kissed her.
"I am really happy Sharan..you are the best husband and father...our princess is very lucky"she said while crying.
"Our princess is very lucky because she got you as her mom..I may be best husband and father..and what makes you different is you cannot be limited to best wife or mom or sister...you are the best person in this world Isha..you made the life beautiful for everyone around you.."he patted her back.

After sometime he broke the hug.
"I will bring our coffee..you spent time with our princess..."he left.
Isha looked at her husband admiringly.

Naming Ceremony Day
Isha and angels are busy in making their princess getting ready for the function.Sharan has arranged a very big function.

"Ishudi.. Pls tell us..what's the name Bhaiyya has selected for our little angel?" Varna asked.
"Sharan has warned me to not reveal it before the function..." Isha said helplessly.
"No more suspense..pls tell to us Ishudi...we won't tell to bhaiyya...Pls"Veena said.

Isha felt bad seeing angels condition.
"Ok come.. I will tell..but promise to me that you won't let your bhaiyya know it..."Isha said.

"Promise....." They all turned back hearing the voice to see Sharan standing at the door. Isha bit her lips.Angels hid behind Isha.
"Sorry..I didn't say..was about to tell only.."Isha said defending.
"Come princess...let's escape from this bunch of idiot girls..."he took their baby in his arms.
"Bhaiyya is the real idiot..I am sure it will be a stupid name like Sharan."Veena said making Isha chuckled.
"Sharan..it's the most good name on earth..."he said.
"Most idiotic name" Varna spoke this time.
"Ok..come here..I will tell my princess's name to you both...stop this fight then.."he said gathering them around him.
He whispered the name in their ears and both looked at him in wonder.
"Superb name Bhaiyya"Veena kissed his cheek.
"I am now sure..it's not selected by my idiot bhaiyya..it may be Ishudi's suggestion."Varna said for which Sharan glared at her. Isha smiled.

"Sharan Isha...are you both ready?" Durga came asking.
"Yes Appa..we are ready.."Isha said.
"Then come fast with baby..the pandit is waiting there...." Durga left saying it.

"Come lets go.."Sharan said to all.
He hold baby in one hand and hold Isha's hand with the other. They reached the hall and pandit asked them to sit on floor which is filled with a red color mat. They sat together along with angels on their both side. Durga sat along with the pandit on the opposite side. Pandit started prayers.

"Tell the name in baby's ear three times loudly.."Pandit announced.
Both Isha and Sharan looked at each other.
"Appa..we want you to call her by her name first..." Isha said looking at Durga.
"Yes dad"Sharan supported.
"But I want you both should do it together..."Durga said.
"Not together..only one of them can do it.."Pandit said.
"Pls Appa.." Isha requested.
"Sharan..it's your daughter and you have selected the name..do it beta"Durga said.

"Can anyone do it fastly? Our princess is Waiting impatiently to know her name" Veena said loudly. Baby made a loud sound indicating she is waiting for the same.

"Sharan...call her name...do it.."Isha insisted her husband.

Sharan leaned towards baby.
"Pratheeksha...Pratheeksha...Pratheeksha...."Sharan called their princess and everyone clapped around them.
"Pratheeksha .... beautiful name"Durga commented.

"Why this name? Any speciality?" Janimaa asked.
"Yes Janimaa..there is a reason why I chose this name for my baby.." he held Isha's hand.
"Pratheeksha means hope... expectation..(in malayalam...rest I don't know) Her mother brought new hopes in my life.. Isha regenerated all my lost hopes... she became the reason for me to live.. like that now our baby is our new hope...she is wonderful just like her mother.. Thats why she is Pratheeksha"Sharan said looking at Isha who is wiping her tears. He helped her to wipe the face.

"Excellent" Durga complimented.
Angels hugged both of them. Baby Pratheeksha smiled in his lap.

One Night
Sharan entered into the room and couldn't find Isha and baby there. He heard voice from balcony and moved to there..
"Look baby...see the moon who is shining for us..."Isha said pointing to the moon. Baby is laughing in her hands.

Sharan went towards her and wrapped his arms around her and baby.

"Here comes your naughty pappa"Isha said turning to face him. He took the baby from her and kissed her both cheeks.

"Princess..look at our moon who is shining for both of us..."Sharan said pointing to Isha's face. She blushed.

"Sharan..."Isha pinched on his nose.
"Ahhh"Sharan yelled.
Suddenly the baby raised her little hand and touched the tip of his nose smilingly.
"See it..my baby starts imitating me...she trying to pinch your nose.." Ishana said excitedly.
"It's not like that...she is caressing my nose when you hurted me..she is my girl..."he said more excitedly.
"Nooooo"Isha said.
"Yesssss"Sharan said. Isha pouted.

He encircled his hands around her waist and pulled her towards him.
"Thanks for coming into my life..my big idiot and little idiot togetherly made my life complete..."he hugged both of them together kissing on their heads.

The moon and stars shining on the sky witnessed their family moments. Isha and Sharan are not perfect couple. But Isha is perfect for Sharan and Sharan is perfect for Isha. They are perfect for each other while their imperfections added beauty to their life....Love always make life beautiful..
