Recap: Bday celebration - Isha's gift - Sharan is going to become a father!!!

Ishana's PoV : At Hospital
I looked at Sharan who is wandering around the hospital laboratory. For a moment I laughed out loudly seeing his condition. Yes we are waiting for the results to come and he is behaving like I am already in the labour room delivering his child. May be this is called excitement of becoming a father. I remembered how slowly Sharan was driving the car during our journey to hospital. He is very caring for the baby. I felt regret for hiding this secret from him for past one week. He was right. I missed him his one week of fatherhood. I slowly placed my palm on my abdomen and caressed there. Why can't I feel baby there? But Sharan told he can hear the baby. Is it true??? Or he is lying?? May be he is right...Only father may feel it. But why??? Baby is in my womb. So I should feel first. This is so unfair.

I relieved from my thoughts when a pair of hands touched my belly. I found Sharan caressing his baby. For a while I was tensed seeing his love for the new one.
"Sharan I want to ask you something" I asked.
"Wait wait..First of all answer me" he interrupted.
"Ask man" I said
"Do you want to eat anything??? I mean you haven't eaten at morning. I saw you throwing up the whole food."he said
"No Sharan. I dont want to eat. I don't feel to." I said resting my head on his shoulder.
"Isha you should eat for our baby. Our baby's health will completely depend on you" he said.
"You are saying like you gave birth to many kids earlier." I pouted.
"Ishaaa" I stopped him.
"Sharan now you answer me" I said
"What???Ask" he said.

"What if I am not pregnant? Would you feel sad? Will you be shattered? I can't imagine you in that situation." I said without looking at his face.

He cupped my face and raised my chin.
"Isha look at me" he ordered in a serious tone. I gained the strength to look at him and finally I did it.
He welcomed me with a pure smile on his face.

"We have just only started our family life. Isn't it?"he asked for which I nodded.
"Then why are you tensing baby? We will enjoy our life as long as we are together. We can wait more for a baby. Life is not ending today or tomorrow. And don't get panic seeing my excitement."he consoled me.

"Sharan what will we do if I cannot become a mother?? There are so many cases like that" I looked at him.

I saw him becoming serious. Oh god why I always fail to control my tongue? I cursed myself. Seeing my tension he smiled at me.

"What if I cannot become a father? There are so many cases like that too" I stopped him by putting my finger on his lips.
"I will kill you if you talk like this any more." I warned him.
"If you don't want me to talk like this, you should also stop talking like this." He said laughing.

I stopped and we started waiting for the reports. Finally a nurse invited us to come inside and talk with the doctor. He held my hand and we entered together. I was nervous and he gestured me to be calm. I smiled at the doctor. The doctor is our neighbour also and we know each other a lot.

Sithara as Dr.Neelima

"Sit here Isha" Doctor Neelima welcomed us.
We sat together.
"I have seen the reports. There is nothing to worry." She said with a smile.
We looked at each other.
"And there is news to celebrate too" she said after a long pause.
"What?" Sharan asked in excitement since he was waiting to hear it.
"Yes Sharan you are going to become a father. A small part of you started growing inside Isha's womb. Congratulations" she said shaking hands with Sharan.

Tears made my vision blurred. She congratulated me and we hugged together.

"Doctor Isha is okay Na?" Sharan asked.
"I hope so. But you should have to do a detailed scan next week. It will be helpful. This week I will be abroad. So meet you both next week. Till then take care of her and baby well. It's your duty Sharan" she said looking at Sharan.

"I will doctor." He said determinantly.
"And you should be very careful. Make her eat properly. She will behave differently because of the mood swings which are common during pregnancy. You should cop up with everything." She said to Sharan again.

"Doctor I am the one who is pregnant. Don't you have anything to tell me? Or do you think that I will not look after my baby like Sharan does?" I pouted.

Sharan and doctor laughed loudly.
"How is it?? She started her mood swings now itself." She said again looking at Sharan.
"Don't worry. I will manage her all moods" Sharan assured.
"Okay Isha. Now you listen. Before getting a detailed scan report I cannot tell anything about your baby's health. So you should be very careful. Dont stress your mind. Be tension free. And most importantly take rest for this week. Don't do any job. As a neighbor I know what you are doing at the home. Pls leave the kitchen to maid. Is it ok???" She asked.
I nodded.
"I will take care of her" Sharan held my hand tightly.
We bid goodbye to Neelima doctor and left.

Sharan stopped the car in the mid way. Isha looked at him in wonder.
"What happened Sharan?" She asked.
"Something had happened" he said with a naughty smile.
"Where?" She asked.
"Here" he pointed to his heart.
"Are you joking?" She pouted.
"I am serious"he pulled her to his heart.

He kissed her forehead and joined thier heads.
"Thank you Ishu" he said.
He kissed her belly softly.
"I love you"he whispered in her ears.
She put her both arms around his neck.
"Are you feeling comfortable? Do you want to rest for a while?" He asked.
"No Sharan. I am okay. I should reach home fastly. Can't wait to let them know the news. Pls start the car." She said.
"Okay" he started the car and drove slowly.

Durga, Veena and Varna were waiting for them to return. They don't know why Sharan took Isha to hospital as it was a part of their surprise. He said to them that she is having continous headache and he took an appointment with a doctor. Isha didn't correct eventhough she didn't want to lie. All were worried thinking about Isha's health. Angels even took a leave also.

They heard car's horn and immediately rushed to the front yard. Sharan stepped out from the car first and went to open Isha's door. He slowly supported her to come outside. Varna ran to them worried.

"What happened to my Ishudi?" She is ready to cry thinking that Isha has some serious disease.
"Hey Varna. Nothing to worry." Isha hugged her.
"See don't make my sisters panic. I can walk myself." Isha glared at Sharan.
"What is the matter Ishu? What did doctor say?" Durga is confused so as Veena also.

Isha and Sharan looked at each other. Both of them gestured the other to start first. All their different behavior created more and more confusion in Durga and angels. Atlast Sharan came forward to break the happy news.

"Dad Isha is...."he stopped shying.
"What is that?" Veena asked seriously.
"Tell me Sharan. Dont confuse anymore" Durga said.
"Dad there is nothing to worry. We are going to become parents soon......Don't you want to play with our kid???? And angels what about having someone to call you aunty?" He looked at everyone.

Durga and angels looked at Isha with an unbelievable look. She smiled at them and nodded her head slowly.
Veena and Varna hugged and kissed her. Durga came to her. She hugged him happily. He kissed her forehead. Sharan looked at them with teary eyes. He dont want this moment to end.

"I am the reason for this happiness and no one have time to congratulate me." Sharan coughed to get attention.

Isha glared at him.
"No one wants me. My baby will ask you for this" Sharan complained.
Angels hugged him.
"Who said no one wants you? You are our sweet cute Bhaiyya" Veena pulled his cheeks. Varna supported her.
"Hey stop this. Its hurting." Sharan ran towards his dad. Durga caught him. He cupped his face.
"Sharan I didn't expect such a day in my life. Thanks my dear son" Durga wiped his tears with a smiling face.
"You are the reason for all the happiness in my life" Sharan said to his dad.

"Me????How???" Durga was confused.
"Who told you to bring this idiot from Krishnapuram?" Sharan said pointing to Isha. Isha hitted him on Chest.
Everyone laughed. Durga hugged both Isha and Sharan together. They exchanged happy tears.

"Okay tell me what doctor has said? Is she ok and what about her health?" Durga asked after a long break.
"We have consulted Neelima doctor. Nothing to worry. She said to take rest and be stress relieved. And a detailed scan should be done next week." Sharan said.
"Ishu you go and take rest. You are very weak after a long journey. Go" Durga patted her shoulders.

Sharan brought her to their room.

"From today onwards I am not only your husband but your home nurse too " Sharan said raising his chin from her belly.
"But you didnt study nursing. Did you?" She asked.
"I dont need any degree to take care of my baby" he said caressing her belly.
"Only baby Na? Not me" she pouted.
"Yeah....Both of you. But you should obey me throughout these months..." He said.
"Why?" She asked.
"Don't you remember what doctor said? You should take rest. I will not allow you to do any job. Infact you don't have to move from the bed until I allow you. Then you should have to eat properly. Our baby needs food through you. I want an healthy baby. Then...." He said his conditions.

"Stop it Sharan. I know how to take care of my baby. You are saying like you are the mother."she complained.
"Yeah I am the mother and father. Ok you take care of our baby. I will take care of you. Deal?" He asked.
"Deal" she said.

"Hello Mr.and Mrs.future parents. Can we enter?" Veena asked from the door.
"Do you want permission?? Then write a letter asking for it and wait for the appointment" Sharan said.
"Come here angels" Isha welcomed them smacking her husband's head.

Varna and Veena entered to the room with a box in Varna hands. Durga also joined. Sharan and Isha got up from bed.

"What is this?" Isha asked.
"Sweets. We should celebrate happy news with sweets. Dont you know?" Varna said.
"Varna, give it to Sharan." Durga ordered.

Varna took a sweet from the packet and gave it to Sharan.
"Why first me?" Sharan asked confusingly.
"Because this is the result of your hard work" Veena teased him.

Sharan and Isha looked at each other and blushed.
"Sharan this is a ritual. You feed Isha first." Durga said.

Sharan fed the sweet to Isha and Isha fed the remaining sweet back to her husband. Varna and Veena clapped. They started their celebration without knowing what fate has in store for them.
