It has been two years now that we are living like one big happy family. Abhishree has won the best entertainment company award this year and Jeet got the best businessman award.

I finished my contract with Abhishree successfully and was getting numerous offers from companies to sign me but I decided to take a little break since it was too overwhelming.

Today was a Saturday which meant Jeet ad my date night. Yes being so busy with work we made a rule last year to have a date night every Saturday in order to make up for the time we couldn't spend with each other during the week.

Jeet left for office early today and I just finished breakfast with parents. I haven't been feeling well past few days, feeling tired very easily and sleepy most of the time. Last night my legs went a little numb too for a few minutes so I thought to check with a doctor today while Jeet was in office else he would go all crazy and not let me put a step down from the bed until the doctors will check me thoroughly and assure him that there is nothing wrong with me.

I thought to not tell Moms and Dads too since they pamper me too much and would not hesitate in telling Jeet even though I told them not to.

"Mom I am going out for a while," I told Shriya Mom who was about to go into the garden where the rest of our parents were now sitting.

"Oh sure dear, but is everything alright? You don't look well for a couple of days. Ranjana and I were talking yesterday that we should get you checked by a doctor." Shriya mom said.

"Doctor? Why... why doctor? I am fine, not... nothing is wrong with me." I said stuttering.

"Trisha? What are you hiding? Beta, don't try to lie when you know you get caught easily by any of us." Shriya Mom said and I felt embarrassed.

"Umm mom actually I am going to see the doctor for the same reason but I didn't tell you because all of you become overprotective and I didn't want you all to worry for nothing." I said hoping she will understand and not tell the others.

Luckily and surprisingly for me, she smiled.

"Alright, I won't tell anyone but I want you to tell me the truth what the doctor tells you as soon as you come back." Shriya Mom said and I nodded in agreement.

After meeting the doctor and collecting the medications and reports I came back home in confusion about how to tell them.

I entered the living room at 1:00 PM and there was nobody in the living room so I took the opportunity and ran towards my room. I quickly closed the door behind me as soon as I entered the room and took a deep breath of relief.

I freshened up and came back to the room only to find Shriya Mom standing with my reports in her hand reading them carefully.

"Mom," I said and she looked at me with teary eyes.

"Mom, I..." I stopped saying whatever I was about to as Mom dashed out of the room with tears in her eyes. I debated if I should go behind her or not, I chose the latter option.

I laid down closing my eyes and thinking about how I will tell Jeet and everyone about this.

Just when I picked my phone to call Jeet, I got a call from him. I smiled thinking about how we think alike.

"Hello hubby," I said trying to sound cheerful.

"Hello sweetheart, what are you doing?" he asked.

"Umm nothing, just waiting for you," I replied and he laughed.

"Waiting for me or our date?" he asked and I chuckled shaking my head.

"No actually I was thinking if we just spend tonight at home with everyone," I said hoping he would agree.

"Sure, if that's what you want but what happened? You don't sound good." He said and I almost choked.

"No no I am fine just want to spend some time with our whole family," I said and he agreed.

I had my lunch in my room saying I am not feeling well and took a nap after lunch.

I woke up from my nap and looked at the time, it was 6:00 PM. I got up from the bed still feeling a little sleepy and went to the washroom to wash my face.

When I came out of the washroom I found Jeet laying on the bed with his shoes and blazer still on his body. He looked tired, I shook my head and sat near him. I started massaging his head and with my touch, he opened his eyes and felt relaxed.

"Take some rest, you look tired," I said still massaging his head, he smiled at me. He took my hands in his and kissed both my hands.

"I am fine don't worry. Just took a power nap of 10 minutes while you were inside the washroom." He said with a smile and I didn't say anything.

"So, are you going to tell me?" Jeet asked and I raised my brows at him.

"What?" I asked and his lips twitched.

"Why did you cancel the date tonight and why do you want to stay home?" He asked and I started sweating.

"Umm just like that, I just wanted to spend time with everyone. With all the workload recently we didn't get enough time to sit peacefully with parents." I said as a matter of fact and he nodded.

"You go change and then come downstairs, I will go make tea for everyone. It has been long that I made evening tea." I said and started getting down from the bed.

I came downstairs and saw Mom entering the kitchen, I went behind her.

"Mom, you go, I will prepare today's evening tea. Jeet will be joining soon." I said and Mom looked at me as if I said something impossible.

"What? Today is Saturday, isn't today your date night? You should be getting ready." Mom said and I nodded.

"Yes it was but we cancelled it." I said and she looked at me wide-eyed. Of course I can understand the reaction since we never canceled our date night even if both of us were not well.

"Oh My God. You guys are having a fight." She said gasping and I rolled my eyes.

"Mom, Please, we are not having any fight. We just want to spend some time with all of you oldies and here you are making your weird assumptions." I said and she held my ear twisting it a little.

"Oww oww oww mom leave please," I said and she smirked.

"What did you call us, Oldies?" She said and I said sorry. She went out and I got to work to make tea for everyone.

By the time I prepared tea, Jeet also came down and sat with our parents in the living room. I took tea and some snacks to the living room and we all had tea while chatting about different random topics. All this while I could feel Shriya Mom's intent gaze on me and I avoided looking at her in the eyes.

When everyone was about to move I stopped them.

"Ummm I want to tell you all something," I said standing up from my seat and everyone was now looking in my direction.

"What is it beta?" Dad and Shekhar Dad asked together.

I forwarded my hand which had the envelope with my medical reports towards them. Dad took the envelope from me and looked at it seriously, he passed it to Shekhar Dad when he was finished reading it with zero expression on his face.

Shekhar Dad read it and had a complex expression like he was fighting with emotions. He too passed the envelope to Shriya mom who passed it to Mom without even looking at it. All this while Jeet kept looking at me and them with confused expressions.

Mom looked at the reports and had teary eyes. She looked at me.

"Oh, my baby." She said and kissed my forehead as tears fall down from her eyes.

"Can someone please tell me what's in there? I am dying with curiosity here." Jeet asked frustrated and Mom haded over the envelope to him.

He opened the report and the next thing I knew I was lifted in the air by my crazy husband and I heard laughter while I was trying to hold him preventing myself from falling.

"Oh my God, Sweetheart you made me the happiest and luckiest man on the earth. I Love you so much for this sweet surprise, I can cancel thousands of date nights if you give me surprises like this. Wow, I can't believe, we are going to be parents." He said turning around while picking me.

"Congratulations Son but please put her down, you need to be careful." Shekhar Dad said and hugged me followed by my dad as soon as Jeet put me down.

"Congrats Beta, its wonderful news, just take care of yourself," Dad said and kissed my forehead.

"My baby is going to be a mother, I will die of happiness." Mom said wiping tears from her eyes and hugged me and Jeet together.

Shriya Mom just kept standing there smiling with tears in her eyes.

I went to her.

"What happened Mom, you cried and left without saying anything in the afternoon and even now you are silent. Are you not happy?" I asked her worried.

"Don't worry about mom, she is just too happy and might not be finding words because of all the emotions." Shekhar Dad said and gave Shriya Mom a side hug.

They all started talking excitedly about how they are going to decorate the room and buy gifts, moms started giving me instructions on do's and don't's. I kept looking at them and thought this is what a happy family is that I missed for so many years but they are here now showering so much love on me and I could just imagine how they were going to pamper the new member who will join us in few months.

"Hey, I love you, Sweetheart. What are you thinking?" Jeet asked as his hand snaked around my waist.

"Nothing, just how loved I am and how loved our baby would be," I told him the truth and he kissed my forehead.

"You deserve it all. You make this family complete and now you will be making this family bigger." He said and winked at me, I couldn't help but blush and hide my face in his chest.
