Leena was busy talking to her cousins and relatives so I thought not to disturb her and left for my room.

AS I entered into the elevator there was a young boy around the age of 16years dressed in a kurta pajama with headphones on his ears and scrolling in his mobile.

When I entered the elevator he almost stopped scrolling and stared at me for a few minutes.

"You are Trisha Didi right?" he asked with a bright smile on his face.

"Umm yes I am but sorry I didn't recognize you." I said a little confused about who he was.

"Didi I am Tarun, your cousin. I know you didn't recognize me since it has been 12 years that you saw me." He said with a smile.

"Oh my God Tarun, I really didn't recognize you. You are so big now." I said smiling and looking at him.

"Well, I am 16 now. Of course, you won't recognize, I was in underpants when you visited us last time twelve years back." He said and I nodded, just then the elevator reached the floor where my room was.

I was about to get out when Tarun called me.

"Didi I want to talk to you, can I come with you?" he asked and I nodded. He followed me to my room.

I unlocked the door to my room and we both entered. He closed the door behind him and sat on the sofa while I sat on the bed.

"Didi, I am sorry." He said and I looked at him confused.

"Didi back then I was too young to understand why you and Chachi left home, but I found out recently what my dad did to you and I am sorry for that." He said and I looked at him in shock.

"Tarun how do you know?" I asked in my shock.

"Didi ever since you and Chachi left, Mom was angry on dad and I didn't know why. But when your wedding invitation came, mom cried like anything and when I asked her she told me what happened back then and why you and chichi left and never stayed in contact." Tarun said looking down as if he is guilty.

"Tarun please don't feel bad for your dad's deeds. He will be a monster for me all my life for his actions but you are my innocent younger brother and always will be. I am happy that you are here at my wedding." I said and he smiled at me.

"Yeah, and you never called this brother on your first wedding." He said and I looked at him in surprise since we never told any of my or Jeet's relatives about our court marriage.

"First marriage?" I asked pretending to not know what he was saying.

"Oh Didi come-on, I know you and Jiju are already married and this is just a formality for the families." He said rolling his eyes.

"How do you know because we didn't tell anyone." I asked him with a surprised expression on my face.

"Ummm dad told us, he said you didn't invite then since it was an emergency register marriage as Chachi was not well." He said and my expressions turned from surprised to shock.

"How did he know?" I asked him.

"Well Didi, how do think? He has been keeping an eye on both of you since you left our home twelve years ago. Didi, please take care of yourself because I am sure that my dad is up to something." He said with utmost sincerity and concern in his eyes.

"Don't worry Tarun, I am no more than innocent twelve years old and I have Jeet with me too. Your dad can't do anything to me." I said assuring him that nothing will happen to me.

"Didi I know Jiju is a big businessman and has hired a lot of security for you but I have been keeping an eye on my dad for a while, he is not a nice man, he is very shady and cruel. I heard him instructing someone over the phone to kill someone. And the way he has been happy about your wedding since we received the invitation, I am sure he is planning something." He said making me worried about what my uncle must be planning. I couldn't help but think if my uncle wants to harm me or molest me again or if this was something bigger.

I was about to ask him if he has any idea what his dad was up to but before I could ask him the door flung open with a bang and he entered the room in urgency.
