The next morning when I woke up my back was hurting but I didn't care. I kissed Jeet's forehead and wished him 'Happy Birthday' again before getting ready and leaving for the company since today was the press conference announcing new shows. When I was about to leave, moms arrived with Shreyas. Shreyas and I left for office.

Shreyas was in the middle of the press conference, I decided Shreyas to stay as the face of the company since he is the co-owner and it makes more sense to deal with press in Jeet's absence. If I attend the media will have more content to gossip so I just made the necessary preparations and just watched from back stage. I was busy in reviewing some papers when my phone rang, it was Leena.

"Hey Leena, is everything fine at the hospital? Is mom and Shriya mom fine?" I asked worried.

"Don't worry everything is fine but can you come to hospital right now?" she asked and I was more worried. I looked at the watch, it was 1:00 PM and my work was almost finished. I had one meeting with the creative team scheduled at 3:30PM but it wasn't something that cant be pushed back.

"Okay I will just leave but please tell me is everything alright?" I asked her again.

"Trisha don't ask much question and please just come and don't worry its nothing to worry about." She said and I became more worried.

I hurriedly got up giving instructions to Jeet's PA and picking mag to leave when the door to the office flung open and Shreyas entered in hurry with worried expression.

"I got a call from Leena." He said and I nodded telling him I received a call too.

Without wasting another minute we both were on our way to the hospital. We both were tensed about Jeet since Leena said moms were okay. None of us spoke a word throughout the ride and as soon as Shreyas parked the car we ran towards Jeet's room. I was praying the whole time for Jeet to be okay.

As soon as we reached outside his room I stopped, I don't know why but my feet just rooted outside the door, I was afraid of entering the room.

"Trisha don't worry I am sure all is fine, Leena said its nothing to worry. I know you are strong, lets go in." Shreyas said taking my hand in his and leading me.

As we reached the door we could hear some commotion inside the room, we entered the room and saw a few doctors and nurses standing around Jeet's bed and Moms and Leena were also standing there discussing something with the doctors. I was worried and couldn't take a step ahead. Sreyas pulled my hand but I refused to take a step further. He left my hand and moved towards the bed.

I saw his shocked expressions and I felt my knees going week thinking worse of the situations. Then Shreyas smiled and looked at me, just them I saw all the doctors moving to a side and there he was sitting in all his glory with a smile on his face looking in my direction intently.

I could feel tears rolling down my cheeks and my knees going week. I fell down with tears in my eyes and smile on my face.

Leena ran to my side and helped me stand up, it was then that I realized I wasn't dreaming, he was awake finally, sitting there smiling in-front of me. I ran towards his side and slapped him.

"How dare you trouble me like that? How dare you sleep peacefully for a month leaving all of us sleepless?" I said almost shouting, breaking into tears and he kept smiling and looking at me intently.

"Shhhh shhhh Trisha, its alright. Everything is fine now." Mom said as she hugged me.

"Its okay Ranjana, this boy deserves it. She is the one who suffered the most. We still had each other to share our pain but she had nobody while this idiot son of mine slept for a month." Shriya mom said glaring at Jeet.

"No mom please don't say that, it wasn't his fault. It was that bastard Laksh, if he comes to life from dead I would kill him again." I said immediately and Shriya mom smiled at me. That's when I noticed everyone was smiling at my statement. I blushed looking down realizing they were teasing me since I went all protective for Jeet.

"Bro finally you are awake and trust me I am going to take revenge for all the work I had to do in your absence." Shreyas said and Jeet chuckled.

"Bro don't overact, I know Trisha has been halbing you out and you were not alone so please I won't pity you." Jeet said and everyone laughed while Shreyas pouted.

"Since the doctors said that Abhi is completely fine now and it's his birthday, it calls for a celebration." Leena said and took out the cake from the small refrigerator in the room. It was the cake I brought yesterday but didn't cut as I fell sleeping while talking to Jeet.

"The nurse kept this back in the refrigerator when she came to check on him last night." Leena explained when she understood my confusion and I nodded.

Then he cut the cake and fed all of us one by one, me being the last one to get the cake. As he was feeding me cake I took my little revenge by smashing his face with the cream from the cake that I stole secretly. Everyone laughed and after so long we all were happy again. We all were busy laughing when we heard coughing sound at the door, we all turned our heads in the direction and saw Grandpa standing there and I bit my tongue knowing we all are in for some serious scolding since we forgot to inform him in our happiness.
