"We should go get your sister, it would be such a joy if she ate so much that she wouldn't be able to fly anymore," Glory suggested as she stood up.
Deathbringer nodded and walked next to her as they made their way through the forest and to the stream where the blueberries were.
The queen looked to the side and noticed a little hummingbird flying around a large, yellow flower. Glory looked closely and realized that the hummingbird in fact, was a Crimson Topaz.
The RainWing had made it a secret priority to read as much as she could about the rainforest and its biodiversity. Starflight had collected what few scrolls there were left that had actual, useful information about the rainforest, and Glory worked with what she had with. She still had much to learn.
Just out of amusement, the queen matched her scales with the fluttering bird; iridescent gold green, dark red, some yellow, covered in a light layer with hints of dark purple and blue.
"Those are pretty colors," Deathbringer commented softly.
Glory turned her head and was surprised when she saw that he was looking down at the ground and his cheeks were a darker shade than the rest of his face.
"Thanks," was the only answer she could manage. The shock of seeing Deathbringer, the ever so smug and prideful NightWing, blushing had caught her off guard.
They kept walking in the humid rainforest until they caught sight of a certain dark blue dragon wolfing down her third blueberry bush.
Glory and Deathbringer shared a look and smirked in unison. In a silent agreement, they creeped up behind Infinity and waited.
Deathbringer raised a talon and held up three claws, for every second that passed, he lowered one.
When he lowered the last one, the two dragons pounced on the hybrid and tackled her to the ground.
Infinity tried to scream, but her mouth was so full of blueberries that no sound came out.
Instead, her eyes widened and she slashed out her claws at them in a defensive manner until they let her go and laughed together while she tried to spit out the blueberries.
"We had to rescue you before you ate too much. Imagine if we hadn't come here? My poor and only little sister would have died of choking on blueberries!" Deathbringer exclaimed with a laugh.
The image he had depicted made Glory burst out laughing for a brief second.
"Oh, yes! I was utterly dying before you came to freaking rescue me! All hail my older brother, hero and savior of all dragon-kind! What would I have done without you," Infinity yelled with a growl.
Glory snorted at Infinity's sarcasm, which in the hybrid's case, seemed to be her actual language.
"Clay and you will have no trouble in getting along," the queen said as she turned around and spread her wings to take flight.
She and Deathbringer took off immediately, leaving Infinity by herself for a moment.
"WHO IN THE THREE MOONS IS CLAY?!"
Infinity chased after them with a scowl on her face as she watched Glory and Deathbringer smirk at each other.
"Do you think I should send my friends a letter? So they can visit the rainforest, I mean," Glory genuinely asked her bodyguard as they flew in the air after a few minutes.
He turned his head so their eyes met. "If Tsunami comes along I am not going to be responsible for damage cleanup," the NightWing remarked with a serious face.
Glory rolled her eyes and said, "Fine by me."
A second later she turned her neck around so that her voice could reach Infinity, who was flying a little behind her and Deathbringer.
"Jus so you know, you'll be picking up Tsunami's mess!"
The look of shock and anger on her face was just amusing to the queen.
"I'm not picking up after anyone! Much less after a dragon who I have no idea who the heck they are!"
"Well, that's two out of four. She's too much like Tsunami and eats like Clay, there won't be a problem in them being ok with each other," Deathbringer said with a thoughtful look.
"You can count Sunny in, she makes friends with pretty much everyone," Glory added.
"Yeah, Starflight is the only exception, but I'm pretty sure Infinity is intimidating enough to force him to like her. The same way it worked for you and Tsunami," the queen's bodyguard joked with a smirk.
Glory rolled her eyes yet again. "Haha, you're the best jokester in Pyrhia."
All of a sudden, Infinity was flying in front of them, the three of them now hovered in the air.
"Please do continue talking about me like I'm not here! It makes me feel simply delighted that my brother and his lovey-dovey girlfriend are gossiping about me so close to each other that you're practically making out midair. And you don't even tell me who in the deepest pits of the sea I'm supposed to get along with!"
Glory raised both of her eye-ridges, but then she heard the rational voice in her mind.
She's right. We are pretty much ignoring her, and she doesn't look like she's taking jokes right now.
The queen cast a sideways glance at Deathbringer, and it was evident he did not come to the same conclusion as her and was about to pester his sister even more.
Before he could make the situation worse, Glory cut in, "You're right, I'm sorry," she hit Deathbringer in the head with her tail, "we're sorry."
Her bodyguard sent her a surprised look, but he seemed to understand what she was thinking after getting hit.
"Yeah, um, sorry sis," he mumbled.
Infinity nodded her head once. "Apology accepted. Now hurry up and take me to the ocean," she said with a small smirk.
The queen changed the position of her wings and instead of hovering the three dragons were on their way to the rainforest's coast.

Hi, how's your day?
I haven't included your OC's yet but I will soon. Like I mentioned before I did write some chapters while I was out.
Sooo, not much going on right now.
Wait, I forgot. Yes there is.
After a freaking thousand years, I finally began to write the first chapter of the 3rd book in my Glorybringer series! If anyone remembers, it's the one with Glory, Deathbringer (duh), Destinyseeker, Darkstalker, Vibrance, Vigilant. - The Color of Night
And then the Glorybringer twins Aurora and Hunter. Their best friend Twilight. And the villain Venom. And last but not least, Noir. -The Hue of Dawn
The third book, still don't have a set title, will take place a few months before the twins' 7th birthday, AKA, the birthday where Noir is cursed to kill them.
So if anyone remembers, just wanted to let you know that the book is on the way.
Also, another note in case you also forgot, When Lightning Strikes the Night Sky has NOTHING to do with the Glorybringer series. It's a complete different universe!
Okie Dokie
Best place to think is a dark room
