"Girls, you won't believe what I got myself into?" I say speaking through my phone

  "What happened now?" Cheryl asked

  "Hadrian kissed me yesterday"

"Wow that's good news" Nat said clearly excited

"No it isn't"

"To me it is, finally some drama is happening in your life" Nat chirps

"I don't think it's a good thing, I mean isn't Hadrian dating?" Cheryl says clearly stating a point

  "Yes, he is"

"I don't have a problem, since Lisa didn't force herself on him, so am cool with it" Nat said

"Lisa, the main question is, do you feel the same towards him?" Cheryl asked

"I don't know"

"You have to be sure, so we can get over this" Cheryl said slightly annoyed about my indecision.

"I'll think about it"

"To me, I totally ship you two, so you have all my blessings" Nat says

"I think you should think about this carefully, but to me, I would prefer Alex with you"

"okay, thanks for your thoughts and contributions, but I've got to go now so bye" I say as I dismissed the call, I couldn't cope with my friends bringing their personal opinions on who they ship me with, I don't know why I wasted my time thinking of something I shouldn't bother about.

  Not long, I heard a knock on my door which caused my heart to skip, I don't remember my friends telling me they'd drop by and Karen doesn't knock, I wondered if it's Hadrian but I was cut shut seeing Alex, I looked at him confused since Karen's not in.

"Can you move?, so I can come in" he said

"Karen's not in"

"Then I'll wait, so move"

I didn't want to make a scene so I stepped back letting him in, as I walked straight to my bed, it felt weird having him in my room, as an awkward silence settled between us.

"Does Karen know you're waiting?" I asked as I looked at Alex I figured he had his air pods on, he looked at me with a blank expression causing me to repeat myself, it was clear he didn't hear me.

"What is it?" He asked

"Does Karen know you're waiting?"

"It's none of your business"

"But it's my room and my roommate, we're talking about" before I could finish my statement he had already fixed back his air pod, which caused me to huff, I wonder why he acts rude, his lucky I'm in a good mood to entertain his attitude.

  It's already past an hour plus and Karen's not back yet, I felt bad for Alex, he looked worn out based on the way he keeps staring at his phone, I could notice he had eye bags, I wondered what could cause a boy like Alex sleepless night.

I sat on my bed with folded my legs as I looked at him with the aim of freaking him out, so he could say something to me, since he graced my room he hasn't willingly said a word to me, he stared back at me with a blank expression not saying a word to me, which wasn't what I expected, I had no option than to start the conversation.

"I don't think Karen's coming anytime soon"

"So?" He says with a frustrated expression

"I don't mean to annoy you but, I think you're wasting your time"

"Do I make you feel uncomfortable?" he asked

  Okay, that came to me as a surprise, I thought, what would cause him to think that.

"No, why would I feel uncomfortable around you?, not like you're hot or something?" I knew I lied about the last part, everything about Alex screamed flaming hot, the way he sat on the bed relaxing his back against the wall, as his hair grazed his forehead, dark hazel eyes lazily stared at me which would tempt any girl to do the unspeakable to him.

"Since you don't feel uncomfortable and don't see me attractive enough, which is safe, would you stop looking at me"

"What do you mean safe?"

"Do you want to go out since Karen isn't planning on coming tonight"

"You haven't answered my question"

"I would answer if you'd come with me"

"It's better to just ask me on a date than use such a weak bait on me, am not that curious" which is the total opposite

"Fine would you go out with me?"

"Yes, but I can't dress with you here, so please move out"

"Fine, I'm waiting in my car, and don't take time unless I'd drag you out in a way you wouldn't appreciate" he says with a smirk

"We'll see about that sir" I say as he moved out, I quickly dressed, walking down the hallway as I caught sight of Karen walking towards me.

"Karen you're back"

"Yeah, did I miss anything?"

"Not really, Alex was waiting for you"

"Really?, but I just met him and he didn't say anything about it"

"Okay, um I'd be going now, see you later"

"Bye"

As I walked down, different questions popped my mind, did he plan all this, I shrugged off the thought, not willing to assume anything quickly. I opened the door of his car as the sweet scent of lemon waft through my nose.

"Did you see Karen?"

"Yes, so?"

"I mean, you were waiting for her so?"

"So?"

"You're not doing this now"

"But I am"

"Really?"

"Okay, I don't remember why I was waiting for her"

"Okay" I say finally getting the point as I gave him a knowing smile

"If you continue talking, I might lose focus, so can you do me a favour and keep quiet"

"What's going to happen if you lose focus?"

"I'll kick you out of the car"

"Wow, I'd like to see that happen"

"Don't tempt me"

"But I am"

"You know what, keep talking"

"That I'll do" I say, as he smiled still keeping his eyes on the road, I enjoyed his side profile as it showed off his perfect jawline which I would love to see everyday.

"Where would you like to go?" He asked

"Really?, you asked me to come out with you, when you didn't plan"

"The more you talk, I feel like throwing you off a cliff"

"I would like to see that happen, as you go down with me"

Not long we were in an elevator, the door opened revealing a rooftop bar. As we stepped out, I turned to Alex, confused as I reasoned the sarcastic comment he made earlier about a cliff.

"Really, does this look like a cliff to you"

"I planned on feeding you before your death"

"Stop it, you would have informed me to dress better for this"

"Even if you wore the most pretty dress it wouldn't change a thing" he say as he grabbed my hand as we moved to the last seat at the edge, which gave me enough view of the area, the bright lights of moving cars and buildings made the night magical to me, we had already placed our orders as we waited.

"Are you done admiring the view"

"Not yet"

"Take your time, make sure you absorb it"

"Okay, now you're scaring me" I said

"What if?, I told you I'm not with my wallet"
