3rd PoV with Professor Ozpin & Miss Goodwitch still on the cliff...

Ms. Goodwitch: The last pair has been formed, sir. Poor boy... I can't imagine anyone who'll struggle more than miss Nikos. Even aforementioned team seems more compatible, despite their polar opposite personalities.

Prof. Ozpin: Mmmm...

Ms. Goodwitch: I don't care what mr. Arc's transcript says. Based on that performance he showed, his combat skill level is far too low for this line of work. I guess we'll just have to find out. Speaking of which, what did you use as relics this year?

Pro. Ozpin: *doesn't reply and continues to stare on screen*

Meanwhile with temp team RWMJ...

They were now resting on a forest clearing with Jei leaning against a small tree, Mal and Ruby eating the oreo packet(which Mal had in his bag from the other world), and Weiss wandering trying to find where to go.

Weiss: It's definitely this way! No wait...no. It's DEFINITELY here. No, it's official. We have passed it.

Mal: *mockingly imitates Weiss* We have passed it, weh. Last I remember ghost lady, we haven't "passed" anything.

Weiss: Shut it you dolt!

Mal: *flinches and curls up from being shouted at*

Ruby: *stands up* Why can't you just admit that you don't know where we are?

Weiss: Because... I... do!

Jei: *scoffs* Right, I may be patient, but you are REALLY pushing it. If you really do know where we are, then please enlighten us where we are right now, how far we are and where we are going.

Weiss: I... uh.

Jei: You see? You do not know after all.

Weiss: Like you know any better!

Ruby: At least none of us are pretending that we do.

Weiss: What's that supposed to mean?!

Mal: What she means is that you are mean, stupid, unfair, choosy jerk, whose only thinking of yourself! I... I'm sorry. I went too far.

Ruby: Yeah! No you didn't!

Weiss: L-let's just go.

Ruby: Why are you so bossy!?

Weiss: I'm not bossy! Don't say things like that.

Mal: Why I outta...

Jei then holds a hand in front of Mal.

Jei: Don't, this is clearly a problem both of em should work out on their own. Besides, changing the timeline ring a bell to you?

Mal: R-right... I'm sorry.

Weiss: Stop acting like a kid!

Ruby: Stop acting like your perfect!

As the shouting match worsens, their words both echoed inside Mal's mind and struck a memory he wishes to forget, completwly unbeknownst to them. His childish demeanour then switches to that of pain, anguish and hatred. He then lets out a blood-curdling shriek which is momentarily followed by the eruption of a violent black aura as he tries to lunge at a now terrified Ruby and Weiss. However, his bestfriend was there to restrian him.

Ruby: What's going on!?

Jei: *grunts* Whatever you two were shouting must've *grunts* triggered a real nasty memory. Mal, sh, it's alright, calm down. Calm down, no one's gonna hurt you okay?

As Jei continues to stroke him on the head and calming him down, Mal's contorted face begins to mellow out. He then falls on the floor and sobs profusely.

Mal: I-I I'm so-orry... I lost control an-and.

Weiss: U-um, i-it's alright. I'm sorry we yelled at each other as well. Now, *holds out hand* please don't cry.

Mal: *wipes tears and then smiles* O-okay.

Weiss then frowned as she remembered all the times she was shouted at. She knew this feeling of fear.

Ruby: What's up with him? Is he okay?

Jei: It's... a sensitive subject. Just try not to bring it up. *follows them*

Weiss: H-hey! Wait up!

Meanwhile with temp team BlYTZ(Blitz)...

Zeph was on a tree looking through his sniper scope with Blake right next to him.

Zeph: Alright, we're clear.

Tom: *looks up* Thanks dude.

Blake: Where are we going exactly?

Zeph: Oh, I found a mysterious ruin with chesspieces in them. Those might be the relics.

Blake: How could you tell?

Zeph: Well, I saw a bunch of students take the bishop pieces so, I think it's safe to assume those are the pieces.

Tom: Come on! Stop talking to your girlfriend already! *smirks*

Tom(inside mind): REVENGE IS SWEET!!

Blake was visibly flustered, but mostly confused by what Tom said and then inched away from Zeph slightly.

Zeph: Don't worry Blake, I got this. Dude! Start talkin to yours!

Zeph(inside mind): Uno Reverse card!

Tom: *blushes like crazy* What?! She's not! We're not! Yang's not my!

Zeph and Blake then jump down and jooned the two. Tom being extremely flustered and Yang giggling. Zeph then whispers into Tom's ear "I never mentioned Yang in this conversation.", smirks and leaves.

Tom: Gah! I give up!!

Meanwhile with Jaune & Pyrrha...

Pyrrha: Uh... Jaune? Are you sure the relic is here?

Jaune: Pyrrha, I made the torch. Could you like humor me for like, five more feet?

Jaune then slips on a puddle and drops his torch on another puddle. Jaune then stands up humiliated and blind.

Pyrrha: Uh Jaune, do you feel that?

Jaune: What? Soul-crushing regret?

Pyrrha: No... It's warm...

Jaune: So... Warm soul crushing regret?

Back with temp team BlYTZ(Blitz)

Yang: So, this is the place?

Zeph: Yup. Now we pick.

Yang: Howbout a cute lil pony?

Blake: *smirks* Sure.

Tom: Let's pick the king piece!

Zeph: Why?

Tom: Kaizoku ou ni ore wa naru!!

Zeph then gives Tom a glare so dead and cold, it made Weiss' ice-cold glare look like a summer festival in Philippines.

Zeph: No.

Meanwhile with Jaune and Pyrrha...

Jaune then eventually sees a faint golden glow emitting from a weird yellow stalactite. Thinking this was the relic, he quickly tries to grab hold of it. However, it somehow dodged, so Jaune tries again and this time succeeds. The "relic" then starts to levitate into the face of a giant Deathstalker.

Meanwhile with temp team BlYTZ...

Out of nowhere, a blood curdling, feminine scream echoes through to the whole forest.

Yang: Blake, Tom, Ice king, do you hear that?

Zeph(muttering): (Do I look like I can fly with a beard? )

Tom: I dunno. Uh... Blake? Watch looking at?

Blake: Aren't those Ruby and your friends Yang?

Yang: What are they doing?!

Meanwhile with temp team RWMJ...
The four of them were dangling precariously on the feet of a giant nevermore. Ruby and Mal holding a tuft of feather on its back, while Jei was dangling off of Weiss's leg.

Weiss: G-get off my leg!

Jei: I'd fall off if I did!

As they sailed through the sky atop the giant nevermore, Mal's aura them slowly grew yellow.

Mal: I don't wanna die! I don't wanna!!

Jei: Mal! Hang on!

Ruby: Are you alright?!

Weiss: No, we are not alright, we are certainly NOT alright!

Ruby: Everything's fiiiiiine.

Weiss: Everything's beyond fine!

Ruby: I-in a good way?

Weiss & Mal: IN A BAD WAY! IN A VERY, VERY BAD WAY!!

Mal- o -vision:

Happy thoughts, happy thoughts. Mal, calm yourself. You'll be fine. Just try and remember which part of RWBY this is.

Mal: GAAAAAAAHHH!!! Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope...

Ruby: Then why don't we jump?

Mal: *nopes get even faster* Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, no- and she's gone. RUBY WAI-HAI-HAIT!!

Weiss: Where did she-

Jei: RUBY WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!

I don't remember what happens after this, so I'm gonna try and save her. So I did the did the dumbest, most heroic thing I could think of doing and jumped after her.

Third PoV

Jei: Mal! WAAAaaaii- and he's gone. Weiss?

Weiss(still desperately clinging on) Y-yes?

Jei: We need to jump.

Weiss: Like hell!

Jei: Okay, it's been nice knowing you. Maybe let's hang later.

Weiss: Wait, what are yo-

Jei followed both cloaked children as he portals in both his swords and used aerodynamics tilting both Kuroi and Shiroi like jet fins. He then thought of something.

Jei: If I can make weapons pass through these portals. Can I...

While slowly gliding down, he started to experiment with the swords by throwing them into the portals and then summoning the portals once more. He then saw that the blades kept their momentum. Using this newfound knowledge, he then proceeds to throw both swords into the portal and then drop summoned them only to make them leave with a portal below. He kept doing these until the blades were both moving really quickly. He then summons both blades into his hands and saw that they launched him forward like a firework and elytra combo. So he continued to do this until he landed safely on the ground. He then tried to catch Mal(he knew Ruby would be fine), but instead saw Jaune(who was earlier catapulted by a deathstalker), crash into both cloaked kids, resulting in all three of them hitting the branch of a tree.

Ruby(dizzy af): What... was that?

Mal: *groans* Ow... my everything hurts.

Jaune(hanging from a branch upside down): *clears up throat* Hey Ruby, Mal.

Mal: Hey howsit hangin!

Mean with temp team BlYTZ...

Zeph: I didn't think I'd be able to witness this episode.

Blake: What?

As he said that, both Yang and Tom gave him a deathstare while Tom was just slowly swaying his head from side to side in a disapproval.

Zeph: R-right. No references.

Blake: What?

Zeph: N-nothing, just an inside joke.

Blake: Right.

Blake: Anyways, was that your sister that flew just now?

Yang: I-

She was then cut off by a disturbance in the forest where trees were being toppled down. Suddenly, a massive ursa comes out flailing it's arms as a pink explosion appears behind it.

???: YEEHAAAAW!!

The voice was then revealed to be none other than the pink hammer wielder herself, Nora, as she topples down the giant bear.

Nora: Aw, it's broken. *examines mutilated ursa* Eeeeew.

Ren then soon followed, tired from running, presumably to catch up to Nora.

Ren: Nora... please don't ever do that again.

But then Nora disappeared leaving Ren baffled. He then saw that she has somehow already reached the temple and was now looking at a golden rook.

Tom: Uh, what?

Zeph: Just roll with it.

Nora then places the rook on her head and starts dancing.

Nora: I'm the queen of the castle, I'm the queen of the castle!

Ren: NORA!!

Nora: ~Coming Ren!~

Yang: Did that girl just ride on-

Zeph: Okay take a deep breath, and calm dow-

Pyrrha then runs out of the forest as a giant deathstalker chased her. She then jumps to narrowly escape one of its claws.

Pyrrha: Jaune!

Jaune: Pyrrha!

Ruby: Woah! *starts running on branch*

Jaune: Ruby!

Mal: Spongebob! *drops into the ground and starts running as well*

Ruby then drops into the floor as she then approaches Yang.

Yang: Ruby!

Ruby: Yang!

Nora: *interrupts their hug* Nora!

Blake: Did she really run all the way here with a Deathstalker on her tail?

Yang having enough, activates her semblances and stomps her foot in frustration.

Yang: Can everyone just chill out for two seconds?!

Jei/Zeph/Mal/Tom: Yesn't.

Ruby: U-um Yang? *points up*

Mal: Wait, where's Weiss?

Ruby then taps on his shoulder and points up.

Mal: Ah, okay.

Zeph: That's a nice view from-GACK!

Jei then neck chops Zeph, making him unconcious.

Weiss: How could you three leave me?!!

Ruby: I said jump.

Blake: She gonna fall.

Ruby: She's fine.

Jei & Ren: She's falling.

Mal then makes a complete 180 in personality as he stares determinedly at Weiss.

Mal: Not again...

The ground below him crumbles as he unconsciously focuses his aura into his feet. He then launches upwards ala Deku and catches her mid-air.

Mal: NOT AGAIN!

Weiss: How are you flying?!

Mal then looks at his feet in worry as he realizes he spraines his ankle with that jump. It might be healing quickly due to the nature of his aura, but not quickly enough.

Jei then concentrates and somehow makes a stair with his swords by repeatedly summoning and unsummoning them. He then runs up and rescues both of them.

Jei: Do not fear! I am here!

Jei then just smiled at them with such a warm, comforting smile, it would make anyone have fuzzy feelings just looking at it. Weiss then just looked at her hero with a sparkle in her eye and a slight blush on her face. Mal looks on with a strange knotting in his heart. Why? Not even he knows. Mal gets down afterwards and pouts while mumbling something.

Jei: U-um, Weiss? We're on the ground now. You can get down now.

Weiss then snaps out of her trance and realizes how long he's been awkwardly holding her.

Weiss: O-oh right right...

Tom and Yang saw that and then tried to hold back their laughter. Tom then gives them a thumbs up.

Zeph: Smooth dude, reeeeaaaal smooth. *non-chalantly thumbs up*

Jei then got really flustered by this and started flailing his hands in the air.

Jei: I-it's not like that.

All of them then had deadpanned faces.

Mal: Heheh...

Everyone else: They're so alike.

Pyrrha, who was being chased by the deathstalker earlier was now launched towards them.

Yang: Great, the gang's here. Now we can all die together.

Tom: Well, gang! We have a battle to resolve!

Mal: Zoinks Rubes, like, what're we gonna do!

Ruby: This!

Mal: Wait!

She then charges towards the deathstalker, using her Crescent Rose's rifle function to further speed her up. Just as she was about to land a strike, the deathstalker deflects her, making her fall over.

Ruby: D-don't worry, I'm fine!

Mal who was just about their already tries to warn her about the nevermore but he was too late. By the time he reaches her the nevermore has already fired its feather projectiles. However he was just about fast enough to block one that headed straight for her. Ruby's cape still became stick still though.

Mal: That was close.

Suddenly a beowolf from earlier came out of the forest, and goes straight for Mal. Mal holds it off but Ruby was about to get struck down by the giant deathstalker.

Mal: Ruby! NO!!

The deathstalker stabs down.

*sound of ice forming can be heard*

Weiss: You are so childish!

Ruby: Weiss?

Mal: *inhales and then kicks beowolf off while exhaling*

Weiss: and dimwitted, and hyperactive. Don't even get me started on your fighting stance. And I suppose, I can be... difficult sometimes. But if we are going to do this, we are going... to have to... do this... together.

The beowolf from earlier then pounced once more at Mal. As the creature wrestles him to the floor, he looks it straight in the eyes and tears started rolling down his cheek.

Mal- o -vison

I am looking into its red orbs and oh gosh! I can feel it. Though it's a creature of darkness, it is not soulless as people originally believe. Inside its eyes I see not a feral intent to kill, but rather, a very human need for justice, to avenge his fallen comrades who I was forced to kill. I saw myself through its eyes and saw nothing but that hopeless wrath that burned inside me as a kid as I helplessly fought those who made fun of me for having something wrong with my brain. I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY!

I then saw a rapier stab it in the heart... I started to sob and stood up only to hug it's weakening and dying body. It did not fight, I then saw it peacefully rest before turning white as its eyes turned blue before it died. I hugged it crying until it completely dissolved.

Weiss: What the heck just happened?

Jei: *holds on to Weiss's shoulder* He's just like this. He is violent and short tempered. He is bipolar and aggressive. But... he still sees the good in everyone. Even the smallest traces.

Tom: So that's why he protested against lethal force against those thugs.

Jei then smiled sadly at me but I was too busy hugging the dissolving skull of the beowolf to take notice.

Zeph: He even wished that eventually humanity could somehow find peace with these creatures despite the sheer impossibility of that dream when we watched an episode from season 2.

Jei: (Shut up, she doesn't know yet!)

When the it finally dissolved completely, I slumped to the floor and offered it a prayer. I then see Yang bear hug Ruby.

Mal: Amen.

Yang: Thank goodness, you're alright!

Ruby: Yang... can't... breath...

We all then notice not only the giant nevermore circling, but a large beowolf pack led by two alpha beowolves following.

Jaune: Guys, that thing is circling back.

Zeph: Yeah, and those things are coming in close.

Jei: Then howbout this. Jaune, Pyrrha, Nora, and Ren, you guys handle the deathstalker. Ruby, Weiss, Yang and Blake, you guys do the nevermore. And me and the boys are gonna take down the smaller prey so that we don't get overwhelmed.

Jaune: But, why do you guys get to fight the small fry?

Blake: Yeah, that doesn't seem fair at all.

Weiss: There's no point dilly dallying our mission is over there.

Ruby: She's right, our objective is to grab an artifact and make it back to the cliffs.

Jaune: Run and live, I'm down with that.

Mal: I don't have to kill anymore? C-count me in.

So they grabbed their respective pieces, Jaune took the golden rook, Nora takes the black rook, Ruby and Yang both take horses and as Jei and Zeph were about to take their pieces...

Mal: Hey guys *holds up two checker pieces* how out this?

Zeph: Stop joking around, this is serious.

Mal: I'm not kidding. We're not from around here, so it would makes sense to get the pieces not from chess.

Suddenly, just like in the show, the death stalker breaks out of its ice prison, and the nevermore starts swooping down. To make matters worse, now there are beowolf reinforcements now. Gureto daze...

Zeph & Jei: Okay, fine!

Ren: We have to go, now!

We then ran away, but the grimms were closing in. I realised I was too slow to keep up with everyone else as my asthma was setting in, so I did the most logical thing I could think of.

Tom: MAL, what the hell are you doing?!

Mal: The logical thing to do.

Jei: Mal, no!

I ran away from the group and into the grimm.

Ruby: MAAAL!!

Mal: Don't stop me now!

Yang and the rest then restrained her and they kept going.

Jaune: He was so brave, so young.

What they didn't realise was...

Out of nowhere, I launched forward towards there general vicinity, rushing past them in a glorious fiery explosion.

Mal: OH! OH! OH! THERE'S NO STOPPIN' MEEEE FLYING THROUGH THE SKY YEAH AT TWO HUNDRED DEGREES. I'M SHOOTIN' AT THE SPEED OF LI-*crashes into a nearby bush, setting it on fire.

Third Pov

Jaune: What the heck was that?

Mal: I told you guys I'd one billion percent do the logical thing.

Ruby then tackles him crying, knocking him down. (take note they're about the same size)

Ruby: You idiot,*sobs* we thought you were *sobs* gonna *sobs* gonna...

Mal: I'm sorry. *hugs back* I'm sorry, I'msorry I'msorry I'msorry I'msorry!

Mal: I promise you, *sob* I won't die ya hear. Now s-stop crying alright? I won't lose another person I care for.

Ruby: Of course. You're like the twin I never had!

Yang: Um... so does that mean... he's technically my younger brother now?

Jaune: I hate to interrupt whatever this is but WATCH OUT!!

Jaune then tackles both of them away as the nevermore tries to attack the distracted Ruby and Mal.

Zeph: We need to take those damn things down. *aims rifle at the nevermore*

Mal: Hold on! Zeph do you remember episode 8?

Zeph: Right, guys go go go!

Blake: Where?

Zeph: There! *points at bridge* We have an advantage of we fight there because the deaths talker can't get us.

They all then ran to the bridge and just like how it went in the show, they were divided by the nevermore. With Ruby, Weiss, Yang, Nora, Jaune, Jei and Tom on one side and Blake, Ren, Pyrrha, Mal and Zeph on the other side.

Jaune: Pyrrha! Nora, we need to get to the other side.

Nora then smirks, jumps up and catapults her and Jaune towards the others accidentally breaking the floor below Jei.

Jaune: Nora! NOOORA!!

Jei: What the heck!

Nora then launches herself by rocket jumping towards the deaths talker, then landing a hit straight to its head and bumps Blake off accidentally. Both Jei and Blake were now falling, so after seeing that the nevermore was right above them they fired their respective weapons at different spots enabling them to swing on top of the giant bird grimm. Blake then makes multiple slashes at the nevermore to no avail while Jei goes full Levi and barrages the nape of the bird with multiple attacks by first yanking himself towards it by firing a hook arrow at it then yanking himself forward while spinning, resulting in him blade wheeling on top of it after which, Blake drops to where Ruby, Yang and Weiss were while Jei drops to where Mal and Zeph were.

Seeing as most of his friends were on the other side, Tom stops firing his "Ace"s at the nevermore and then jumps towards his teammates. By this time, Ruby's team were off fighting the nevermores, Jaune's team was fighting the deathstalker and Jei's team was fending off the beowolf swarm so the others could focus on their opponents.

By this time, Ruby and her team were already setting up for the finisher. Jaune's team has already taken down the deathstalker and Jei's team was just about finishing up fighting off the last beowolf while Mal was praying next to the dissolving corpses. However, something was wrong here.

Zeph: *puts down rifle scope* Something's not right. Why is there a second nevermore?

Tom: This must be the whole "We messed the timeline up" crud.

Jei: Guys, be prepared. It's smaller than the one team RWBY is facing but if it didn't appear in the original like, what you said, then this might spell trouble. Zeph, it doesn't seem to well armoured. I want you to try find vital spots around it's armor.

Zeph: I got it in my sights.

Jei: Mal, Tom, get into melee range and do as much damage as you can to it.

Tom: What'll you do?

Jei: I'm gonna provide distraction.

So mission "Save the Plot" is underway. Mal and Tom both launch into the nevermore with the power of their weapons recoil, Zeph climbs up a tree and fires at random parts of its body with HE red dust rounds, and Jei has apparently placed grappling cables(one of his arrows) on both Tom and Mal so when they launched he joined as well. He then pulls out his two swords and yanks himself towards the nevermore, performing an Attack on Titan style spin slash to its face. Zeph then gets a shot into its neck making it fall into the floor. As it crashes down, the three then landed safely by falling into some trees. 

Zeph: Guys, target spotted 6 o clock in your direction Jei.

Jei: Got it.

They four then converged on the nevermore as it stood and roared at them.

Mal: I'm sorry but you'll only have to suffer a little it longer.

Mal's aura then turns into a dark blue color. When one looks at it, one may feel melancholy. However, they all stood on four different sides of the nevermore, poisng with their weapons out.

Jei: Let's go!

All four of them attacked.

Zeph starts the combo by running towards it, rocket jumping with an HE round and then back flipping into a katana slice. Before it drops, he props it up once more with a well placed shot to the neck which cracks the bone plating. He then slams his sword's hilt onto the bullet making the crack bigger. He then performs three consecutive strikes into the same spot, with his blade being dust covered and then turns back and sheathes his sword back. Then turns his back on it and as he walks away, the dust detonated sending it towards Jei.

Jei continues the combo by chucking both swords into its throat and then re summoning it only to turn it into bow mode. He then fires two grappling arrows and one electric arrow into its throat. He then yanks into the grappling arrows and sends himself flying towards the downed nevermore. He then spins around and basically buzzsaws into the neck until he sticks into it. He then jumps off of it and throws his blades into the lightning arrow, electrocuting it before re summoning his blades.

Tom then placed his contribution by menacingly walking towards it and then poses. As it was about to land on him, he silently says "Gatling redhawk" and the outline of his gloves start to glow bright red. It then bursts into flames as he lets out a barrage of punches with a "WRRYYAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" for three straight minutes. Keep in mind the fact that he his normal punching rate is 140 punches per minute, add the fact that his semblance(why is active right now) slows down time around to a quarter. This means that in the span of three minutes, he punched the thing with a approximately 1780 times.

Then it was Mal's turn. His aura then turns into a fog of melancholic blue as tears stream down from his eyes.

Mal: May God have mercy on your soul.

He then jumps on the just about dead nevermore with the help of Jei and then switches both shields to fire dust, combines them into Eclipse and then slams the shield into its face. The resulting fire was so intense, it charred the floor below him, completely incinerated the rest of the bird's body, turned all the plant life around them into ashes and sends the nevermore's severed head rocketing to who knows where with Mal still on it.

Mal: AAAAAAAAAHHOOhooohooooyy...

Meanwhile with team RWBY...

Their nevermore was now being held down by ice courtesy of Weiss. Yang and Blake have also turned Gambol Shroud into a sling and Ruby was going to be a projectile.

Ruby: You think you can make the shot?

Weiss: Can I.

Ruby: You can't-

Weiss: Of course I can.

Ruby then launches into the nevermore and drags it by the neck up the cliff and with the help of Weiss's semblance, decapitates it. However while in midair, she then sees another nevermore head flying towards her as she sees someone on top of it.

Ruby: Mal?!

Both of them collided as the heads they were on carried them as well.

Ruby : Whaaaaaaat iiiiisss goooooooiiiiiiing oooooooon?!

Mal: Tooooo muuuuuchh duuuussstt!

Meanwhile with Ozpin and Goodwitch still on the cliff...

Goodwitch: Well! I'm sufficiently surprised.

Prof. Ozpin: See, I knew what I was doing.

Goodwitch: I'm sorry for doubting your choice of students fir Ozpin.

Both of them then hear the faint sound of what seemed like a fire and then saw a big ball of smoke launch towards them. Upon squinting, one could slightly see tinges of white and red amidst the black smoke.

???: LOOK OUT!!

*BOOM*

Luckily, ms. Good witch was able to erect a barrier before it them. Whatever it was.
