Tomioka's POV
God should I apologize? I mean I clearly should but the air between us just from our conversation just felt so thick and unsettling.
I mean I did try and punch her before even starting the conversation so it would definitely be the case with that but still, fuck me and my instincts.
Gotta clear the air somehow without fucking up again, God I atleast hope I didn't ruin our friendship.
If life was only easier............
Narrator's POV
As Giyu was thinking about his mistake, we see the peach head chaperoning Tsutako, Kaito and Makato to where Giyu and the others are.
"Sabito are we near yet? Is Giyu really there? Are you telling the truth?! Please I need to know! I just wanna know if my baby brother is fine!" The anxious older Tomioka would ask endlessly throughout their trek to the beach, the younger man would answer her worried questions with equally assuring and sufficient answers.
But without any actual evidence of his little brother here she still wouldn't believe any of Sabito's words.
I mean she's correct though, if Sabito was speaking the truth he would've atleast shown them a picture of the said man.
Those thoughts were lingered throughout Tsutako's head on the short span they travelled.
She didn't even notice that Kaito was already calling out for her.
"Tsutako? You there Tsu? Hello?" He called out infront of the woman who shook her head, looking at her husband who smiled.
"You okay there Peachy? You zoned out for a second there, anything wrong my queen?" He asked full of concern for his pregnant wife, the latter giving a small and faint reply that she was fine.
The conversation ended at that point since Sabito announced their arrival, a few familiar faces already popping out of the area to greet them.
"Tsutako! You made it!" The voice of Kanae greeted her, the best friends hugging it out after so many long years without seeing each other physically.
"Kanae! How are you?! Where's my godchildren?! I want to see Sekiro and Hana!" Tsutako instantaneously asked, wondering where the Sanemi Jr. was and of course the little blossom.
"Oh they're with the other kids and this must be Makato! Hey there buddy! I'm your auntie Kanae" She would reply, before gawking at the little boy who shyly hid behind Kaito's leg.
"Don't be shy Makato that's Mommy and Daddy's friend! They won't bite I promise!" Kaito knelt down to the boy's level, convincing the little kid who just nods sheepishly, before saying a faint hi which made everyone in the group smile at the little boy's cuteness.
"Aghhh!!!! So cute!" Mitsuri squealed, Iguro nodding because he really agreed with his wife (Or it's because he still a simp).
"Haha, Very adorable! Quite the young man Big Sis Tsutako!" Kyojuro exclaimed, Uzui agreeing with his flame filled friend.
"Tsutako Sis! Is this Makato? He's so big now!" Makomo squeals, hugging the life outta the kid while everyone would laugh.
"May God bless you and your family Tsutako" Gyomei prayed, Kyotuki agreeing with the giant of a man.
"Oh my! Such an adorable little fellow, don't you agree Douma?" Shinobu remarked, Douma agreeing as he looked at the kid with sparkles in his eyes.
As the adults chatted and greeted them Tsutako noticed the absence of the one she was waiting for the most, where was her little brother?
Sabito noticed her eyes trying to find the said man as he also didn't see him, where was Giyu?
"Hey guys any of you seen Giyu? Wasn't he around here somewhere?" Sabito asked in concern, everyone realizing his absence as they looked around.
"I'll ask Ms. Kie and Mr. Tanjuro" Douma would volunteer, running over the older adults who didn't even notice the short haired ravenette was gone.
"I'll go ask the teens" Kanae spoke, running over the teens who were also clueless with the said man's whereabouts.
The men, them being Sanemi, Sabito, Gyomei, Iguro, Douma and Kaito searched the perimeter for any signs of the missing Tomioka.
Sweeping the area from the groves, the shore and even the cave.
While the women searched for him in the gazebos, the cottages and any of the nearby structures of the place.
30 minutes in for searching but not a single sign of hair from the man, were they going crazy or was the Giyu they saw only a visage of the man? They were so confused of his sudden disappearance that even Sanemi and Iguro got worried for the emotionless man.
Tsutako was especially worried since she is the older sibling and she just couldn't take it if something would happen to him at all, for goodness sake she lived in fear everyday for almost half a decade or more for her little brother's safety and health! He promised that he would call her everyday but he didn't! Of course she was worried! And their poor parents....
She just couldn't take the pain of thinking of the worst case scenarios in her head that she could only silently sob as the other women would try and calm her down since the stress was bad for the baby inside her.
Shinobu on the other hand was feeling guilty all of a sudden, remembering their encounter a while ago and how it ended with her just walking out whilst he already sincerely apologized.
*Did I cause all of this? Where are you Giyu?! Everyone's worried you dumbass!* She thought to herself, getting worried and feeling even more guilt for the man's whereabouts.
"Don't worry Big Sis Tsutako, just calm down the guys will find him just breathe and calm down. Stressing yourself is gonna affect the baby" Hinatsuru would calm the woman who was hyperventilating a while ago, her breathes slowly deteriorating from the fast and sporadic inconsistency of her breathing patterns from a minute ago.
Makio and Suma were preparing some tea for all of them to calm down so that the tense atmosphere would dissipate, they both hope so atleast.
Mitsuri, Kie and Kanae were looking after the toddlers and kids that were now playing inside the cottage they were in just so they could also keep an eye of Tsutako who was still worried.
Shinobu and Makomo were with Kyotuki as they also tried calming Tsutako with Hinatsuru.
The teens where also in the search for the man, splitting up with a few of the adults so they can repeat the sweep on the area and even going into farther parts of the beach just so they could find the troublesome and aloof man.
God knows how long they searched for him, yet the whole area had disappointed them with nothing to the point where even a sliver of his hair was not found.
Where was he exactly? Well let's just say somewhere they can't even think of.
Giyu's POV
I've been walking aimlessly as I stared up the night sky, the chilling breeze howling over the trees that swayed with it's flow.
I don't know how long has it been since I've wandered off but this feeling, it's somewhat familiar to the point that it feels like I'm in some sort of trance again.
It's weird honestly, loquacious as they are they would still bother with someone who was ostracized and shone over.
A man who was bereaved by everything he loved and cherished for, someone who's life was given a harsh derisive laugh from the fates.
What's the point of ruining someone's inconsequential life when it's already been ruined in the first place?
My life has always been such a melodramatic mess that I felt like I would never feel anything at all but I guess I was wrong, really wrong.
The phantasmagoria I'm seeing right now is just so lurid, it's just a fever dream.
I look up the sky, musing over everything that has happened and everything that will happen.
I stop for a second, hearing a faint cry as the wind blew past me once more.
The sudden cacophony alerting my senses I quickly turned to see nothing but the silhouettes of the trees and the dull calls coming from crickets and cicadas.
I look forward once more, slowly shambling dismally as I waited for my feet to stumble upon something that could distract myself from the realization that my life has already been written on stone.
Precarious with what else could happen that could exacerbate my already tortured and accursed life.
Well atleast everyone else is fine.... And I hope Mom, Dad and Big Sis Tsutako are the same.
I just sighed and sat down, the soft granulated sand seeping through as my weight flattens the small area.
This is somewhat peaceful.....
Sanemi's POV
Fucking hell where in the goddamned fuck is that idiot of a dumbass!?!
IT'S BEEN AN HOUR OF US FINDING THAT PIECE OF SHIT OF A BASTARD BUT HERE HE IS LIKE MY DOLT OF A FATHER!!!
(Lemme explain for a sec, Sanemi doesn't know that his father died trying to save all of them when he was young. His father's name is Touma Shinazugawa and as I've said he sacrificed himself because when Sanemi was a boy both went out to buy something because his mother was pregnant with his little sister at that time and unluckily enough there was a robbery nearby, long story short Touma decided to help but sadly he got stabbed in the back by a second culprit. Both the robberrers were apprehended but sadly Touma bled too much and died being a hero, Sanemi didn't remember any of it because he was so young back then and probably traumatized from the incident. So his mother told him he left them to save them from the pain of reality, that's where Sanemi had his "I hate my Father for leaving us" mentality.... Anyways sorry for the sad backstory BACK TO THE FUCKING STORY!!!)
God fucking damn it Tomioka! Everyone's so fucking worried where in the very crevices of hell are you?!
God why is it so freaking hot?! It was so cold a while ago the hell happened?!?! God I should've came back and had a beer before going back to finding that dumbass.....
Well fuck it! Beer is the least of my concerns now because I'm finding a missing pessimist with this insatiable urge to go missing! And just because of that I'm either fucked or he's fucked!
My life is such a hassle.... Atleast Kanae, Sekiro and Hana make it better.....
As I think of another solution to find the missing fuck, I see someone sitting along the shoreline.
It's probably atleast a few yards from the camp but I've never seen anybody else around here except for us.
Was it Giyu cause I'm about to whoop his ass if it is him! I'm so angry that not even Tsutako can stop me!
I rush to the person who was there but as I got closer and closer I realized that it was not that idiot I was finding for.
There was a woman sitting there, the shadow cast from the trees covering any distinguishable features for me to see or notice.
"Oi! What're you doing here? I didn't see anyone else with us here are you lost? Oi!" I called out, with her not even heeding my words as she just sat there staring aimlessly at the sea.
"Oi! Can't ya here me? Are you lost miss? Do you need help?" I asked calmly this time, approaching her as she just did the same again.
"Woman can you hear me?! Are you alright?! Come on I've been calling you for the last minute now are you deaf or something?!?!" I screamed in frustration, this time she flinched and to my surprise it was what I least expected.
It was Shinobu? What was she doing over here? I thought she was over with the others... This is unusual for her to scurry off and be alone, what's wrong?
"Sanemi?.... What are you doing here? Have you found Tomioka yet?" She asked me, while I answered with an exasperated sigh.
"Unfortunately the idiot is yet to be seen, how about you? Weren't you with the others when I left?" I asked her, the look on her face saying something that I'm familiar with.
"I'm okay... I just wanted some fresh air that's all.... Wait did you find Tomioka yet?" She asked once more, not even noticing that she asked twice now, there's definitely something wrong with her.
"Shinobu there is definitely something wrong with you, you just asked me about Tomioka twice now! Seriously is there something wrong?!" I asked her, the look of concern spreading through her face.
She then just stared at me for a second before suddenly tears just bursted out of her eyes, soft sobs following after.
"I-I did this Sanemi..... He disappeared because of m-me.... I shouldn't h-have run off....." She cried out, wait what happened?
Holy fuck that guy is dead meat.
Narrator's POV
"Wait what happened? Did he hurt you?! I'm gonna sucker punch that son of a bitch to the goddamned moon!" Sanemi asked, before threatening the ravenette.
"N-No! It was a misunderstanding... I suddenly barged into his peaceful walk a-and I probably spooked him... And so he almost punched me but he luckily stopped in time.... H-He tried apologizing but I just ran away and-and he suddenly vanished..." She explained thoroughly, Sanemi listening as the woman would wipe her tears.
"Goddamnit it isn't his fault, I wanted to punch that fucker square in his face....... It's not your fault Shinobu, those things happen but where could the idiot be now?" Sanemi cursed under his breath, before reassuring her as he wondered where was he now.
Back to Tomioka, as see him walking back to the camp. But taking the more scenic route as he walked through the canopies looking over the beach that radiated the moonlight.
"The moon is so beguiling tonight....." He talked to himself, continuing his stroll through the night.
"Nights like this remind me of that particular scent of wisteria every spring.... That sweet nostalgia, reminiscent of my hallowed memories... Evocative of times when I felt happy again....." He thought to himself, smiling as the memories would rush into his system.
The festival where Shinobu finally admitted her attraction to him as he could only smile and give her a peck, the loud whistling coming from the fireworks and the booming follow up with the short but timeless moment.
The winter mission where both got stuck in a blizzard, a wooden cabin sheltering them from the freezing temperatures and hypothermia.
That time where he would think of her while they were on separate missions, not even caring about his own wellbeing and just worrying if she would get hurt.
It seemed like it was only yesterday for him but when the reality that it's already been a century since those things happened is impartially inexplicable to him as it is to make sense.
He's just felt like he was in a constant limbo, but instead of the said void it's just constant nightmares.
He didn't even realize that he's already reached the point where the camp is already visible, probably 10 yards away now.
As he trekked the last few steps he noticed the stillness in the area, something unsettling for his taste even though ironically, most of his life he was tacit or inarticulate.
"Hmm? Where are they?" He wondered, scouring the well lit area, the flames from the bonfire still flaring the remaining kindlings and the luminescent dazzle from the lights.
He slowly walked towards the gazebo, noticing that everything that they brought was still there, was he dreaming or something? Where were they?
This baffles the man, stopping for a second to see if there's any actual sign of his friends around.
He noticed the tracks in the sand, some were sporadically scattered while some just calmly leading to some of the cabins and weirdly enough, some went out to the woods nearby.
Did they search for him? But why? He thought to himself, thinking that Shinobu would've at least said something about him walking and getting some fresh air.
Did she forget? Or was she still angry? This self debriefing of his made him realize about the encounter they had a while back, was she dreadfully still bitter with the accident?
The questions lingered for second, before he was met with an unfamiliar scent?
Getting a whiff of the alienating smell intrigued his senses, what's this sudden nostalgia he felt? It's affected him to such a level of comfort that it felt like home for a moment.
He followed the scent, the footsteps of unfamiliar origin tagging along with his sudden search.
Looking at the area he found himself back at the forest, fireflies illuminating the path like fays in a mystical forest from all the fairy tales that his mother would read to him and her sister.
As the scent intensified, the lights grew dimmer around him, a faint sound of whispers heard throughout his auditory perception.
He could muster up a few words that were clear but it was still somewhat static to him.
Ditching the scent he followed, he slowly walked to the source, the mutterings getting louder by the second.
"Giyu!... Are you here?! Can you hear me?! Everyone is worried come back!" The voice of a male calls out, the tone unfamiliar to him but the scent was off.
It smells that of hydrangea, a scent he could never forget considering that his sister would always have perfume and scents familiar to the bloom.
"Who could this person be? I smell hydrangea all over him.... There's something real off..." He thought to himself, crouching as he wanted to slowly approach the unknown male without the man realizing his existence.
As he got close enough and still unnoticed he could now see some redeeming qualities of the anonymous individual, all unfamiliar to him.
Piercing green eyes, that of a draconian, fierce yet somehow still majestic.
His black hair, a mess filled with tangles and curls that could rival anyone's bed hair yet in some unexplainable reason it still looked smooth and well kept.
His tower like build, intimidating to look at if you could.
Giyu deducted that the man could be around 180cm or more, not that muscular but he seemed fit enough to beat shit up.
"Giyu you there?! Tsutako is worried! We've been searching you for the past hour now!" The man called out once more, Giyu flinching and wide-eyed as he heard her sister's name.
"Tsutako is here? I didn't even notice that... Could this man be... No.... But considering the evidence it could be likely...." He reflects once more, not even realizing that another set of footsteps approached near them.
"Kaito! Any luck?" The voice snapped him out of his trance, looking back to see a familiar figure approaching the taller man.
"Nothing, it's like he vanished into dust... How about you Sabito?" He questioned the peach head who just sighs, a sign that shows his exasperation and disappointment.
The two tried calling out for him one last time, waiting a good 2 minutes for him to reply but he didn't.
The two gave up after that, returning back to the camp to meet up with the others to see if they had at least some sort of progress on finding the man who was literally right under their noses a second ago.
"Who was that Kaito? And why does Sabito know him?" He lingered, looking at their silhouettes slowly dwindling as their calls turned to mere whispers.
Waiting for them to get into a reasonable distance, he slowly went back to his crouching position, slowly moving through so as not to alert any of the others who were in the area.
Why you may ask? It's quite complex to explain for me alone to describe but why not?
Well you see he thought about how they were desperate to find him, he felt awful that he had to tense them up so he did what he usually would do in this sort of situations and leave.
But why? So what if he felt ashamed? If he left again it's cause even more problems but that's where he started overthinking.
If they found him what would they do? Normally their concern for you would immediately just wash out as they start asking you if he was alright or why he did that but what if they started yelling at him for doing something idiotic?
He didn't want that but the scene just started playing out through his head, everyone screaming at him as they were tired of his disappearing act bullshit.
He weighed each pro and con to his decision but he chose the peaceful way and that's to leave them for a while, gather his thoughts for an hour or 2 so he can finally think clearly.
But his plan was instantaneously shut down, a voice destroying his train of thought as he knew he this voice.
It's something that he just couldn't forget, even if the very existence of the cosmos were to collapse and rebuild once more.
"Giyu?... Is that you?" The lulling voice of the fair skinned maiden was heard, the very thing that stopped himself from thinking further as he could only look back to see her rattled cast, something that burned through his memory.
He could only gulp, struggling on deciding if he would turn around and face her or just ignore her and walk away.
"Giyu? Is that you?" She asked once more, the said man not even looking back at her.
He didn't move, the woman tensing up even more as the taller figure didn't even flinch with her words.
This made the woman desperate, she thinks that she caused this but Giyu knew that it wasn't her fault at all.
The silence from both is just suffocating, but none of them wanted to yield at all.... Until Shinobu started talking.
"Giyu? Please... Everyone is worried for you.... If that's you at least... Please..." She begged, tears threatening to fall down her eyes as Giyu felt defeated, guilt storming his body as he couldn't stand hearing the torment she's feeling.
He turned around, running up to her as he gave her a hug to calm the woman who was still sobbing.
"It is me Shinobu.... You found me.... Calm down, I can't see any of my friends cry.... Please calm down" He tried calming the woman down, her disbelief and relief contrasting into a single crash of emotion that she couldn't understand.
The hug lasted for a minute max, both not wanting to disrupt the silence between them before both withdrawing from the touching moment. (Hehe see what I did there? I made a pun! Touching since they had skin contact?! No? Okay....)
"Giyu..... It is you..... I'm so glad... We can go back no....." Shinobu would utter in a drained tone, stopping for a second before fainting from all of the things she did.
Luckily Giyu's reflexes didn't rust at all, I mean a show of it was the meeting of the two a few hours ago.
But his strength isn't strong as he previously had when he was a Hashira, still relatively strong but not unlike before where he could just blitz through hordes of demons on his own.
As I was saying Giyu would thankfully catch her, the woman who gracefully fell now nuzzling over his arms as the man could only sigh in relief.
He looked over at the resting lass, still admiring her ethereal beauty even after all these years, it was just bewitching for him.
"Even after all this time, you're still as graceful as the day I met you.... Still as caring.... Even through lifetimes you stay the same...." He gazed upon her resting complexion, still admiring the goddess right infront of him.
He knew he needed to take her to the others right now, but glancing at the area they were in he could only see the dark area only illuminated by the moon which didn't help at all since the area was still dark.
Nonetheless he still carried her, heading into a direction of his choice and off to find the camp.
This day couldn't get any worse right? Definitely cause I did say so.... Or is it? Wahahahaha I'm joking..... Probably....
A few minutes earlier.....
Sabito's POV
God where in the goddamned world is Giyu right now?! We searched the whole area including the forest now!???!? Where in the very depths of hell is that lunatic?!?! ARGHHHH!!! I shouldn't look like an idiot Infront of the kids!!!! I'd be a dumbass if broke down in front of the kids right!?!?
(Dude is currently freaking out internally as the kids look at him, Inoue is quite embarrassed at her dad's Zenitsu like behavior)
OKAY OKAY! Calm down you handsome son of a gun! Me and Kaito already searched the forest like twice, yes? But how about the shore? Oh right Gyomei and Uzui did that... Wait how about the nearby Pier?!! Oh right The teens went there.... Well fuck me, I'm out of ideas.......
As I thought of more places he could be a loud knock was heard?! Could it be Giyu?! Please be him I can't let my bro die! Wait that's just too much... I DON'T WANNA LOSE HIM AGAIN ARGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
(Yes he did infact scream like a barbarian, scaring a few of them as he run to the door like a psychopath on heroin)
I ran as fast as I could in the door, opening it only to my disappointment be Rengoku and Genya. Wait I'm supposed to be glad they're back! I don't want any of my friends gone at all!?!?!!!!
As I screamed to myself mentally, my mouth started interrogating the 2 who were sweaty from all the running.
"Did you see my burnt peanut butter guacamole?!!?!!!!??" My mouth would move by itself, the two looking at me like I committed some act of treason.
"Big Bro Sabito I don't think that's the main concern right now... And what's that by the way?" The confused Genya asked me, while I just shrugged.
"I don't think it's edible at all Sabito! But yes young Genya is right! We still need to find our lost friend!" The booming voice of Rengoku adds, while I just nod.
God I feel sooooooo drunk right now, and I only drank like two cans of beer?!? What the hell.....
GIYU WHERE ARE YOUUUUU??!?!?!?
Giyu's POV
It's been a few minutes at least, I could already see the shore and I was already feeling out of breath from running around and carrying Shinobu around me.
I could only carry her till the boundary of the groves, slowly dropping her down at a soft part of the shore.
I sat down next to her, catching my breath so I could continue the journey back to the camp.
I gaze back at her, still sleeping even as the waves crashed into the shore with a huge yet calming thunder-like sound as it came.
I stared back at the view infront of me, still checking on her time to time as I finally rested from all this fatigue.
I sat there for a few more seconds, finally catching my breath before looking around so I could see if anyone familiar was near us.
But looking over the area I couldn't see any sign of anyone at all.
I could only sigh in disappointment, guess I'll have to carry her on my own.
Not even complaining, I go back to her and carefully carrying her as I headed back to the camp.
Which was probably still a long walk from here, but for her I'd travel all around the galaxy just for her safety.
I just hope that I can't fuck this up like the many times I did......
Narrator's POV
As Giyu tried locating the camp, Douma who was also helping with locating the said man was now worried.
He just came back to see if anyone else had some type of progress on the missing man but to his dismay there was not a clue.
But when he asked about Shinobu's whereabouts everyone suddenly noticed her absence.
"Have any of you seen her?" He worriedly asked, everyone else starting to worry once more as the butterfly woman was with them a while ago.
"Last I saw her she went outside, she said she needed air for a second but she's been gone since... Did any of you notice her all?" Makomo would answer, asking any of them who were out if they saw her at all.
Most of them answering with a disappointed sigh, worrying the rainbow eyed blonde.
Sanemi who last seen the woman scurrying back to camp was confused, he definitely did saw him run back to the camp didn't he?
What if she took a detour and started searching for Giyu herself? He thought, slowly regretting that he let her go without any supervision.
His guilt was felt by the others, everyone looking at the albino haired man who could only gulp.
A few tense seconds before he could answer Kanae would approach her husband, destroying the pent up tension before asking him calmly.
"Sanemi, have you seen my sister?" She asked, not even showing her concern about Shinobu suddenly going missing.
With a sigh he slowly explained their encounter, even saying the conversation they had which surprised them considering that they thought that Giyu fled on his own.
With this revelation they had no choice but to find them both as fast as they could, well of course atleast 2 people stayed to watch the kids.
They would search any area they could, even going as far as the road near the parking lot.
They just hoped they could find them safe and sound......
Douma's POV
"Shinobu where are you?! Giyu?! Are you 2 here?!" I called out, nothing but the breeze replying to me.
Where are they?! I'm seriously worried here! Without Shinobu I can't.... I can't raise Umi on my own... I'm too incompetent and too clueless with this parenting crap... And Giyu... When I finally landed on good terms with him it suddenly gets stalled like this... God I'm such a screw up......
No, I need to find them! I can't let Umi and Tsutako-chan down!
I'm finding my wife and my friend, even if it means risking my own safety..... I must find them!
With a newfound determination, I ran along the shore, running as fast and as much as I could.
I'll run as much as I humanely can, even if I die from exhaustion I will find them....
I need to.........

With centuries of mistakes...... All the blood in my hands......
And for once, I'm not failing this time around......
Don't worry you two ill-fated lovers, Upper Moon 2 is here to help!
Narrator's POV
As Douma, who was now revealed to be the same as Giyu who might I add also remembered his past ran to find the two, the others splitting up like he did but in teams.
Kanae, Sanemi and with our boy Genya would go back to the cave like cabin for a reconnaissance mission to find if both would be hiding on them houses.
Gyomei and the teens went back near the pier, asking some the fishermen who just docked after their night fishing.
Sabito, Kaito and Rengoku searched around the roadside and the parking lot.
While the rest who were with the recon team would search near the camp.
NOW BACK TO DOUMA! THE OTHER TROUBLESOME BLONDE WAHAHAHA
Douma was well, still running at the shoreline.
"SHINOBU!!! GIYU!??!? YOU TWO HERE?!" He screamed, still not stopping from dashing around the sandy beach as much as his scrawny human body could.
He was already sweating buckets but he did not care at all, the two's safety his main priority.
"COME ON GUYS IT'S BEEN LIKE ALMOST 2 HOURS NOW?!!!?!! WHERE IN THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS?!?!" He screamed again, all falling into deaf ears.
He could only sigh in defeat, stopping to catch a breather as he slumped his body in the granulated sand with a huge thud.
He took long and deep breaths, laying down the sand as he ruffled his long messy blonde hair.
He sat there looking at the stars, his breath steadying as the minute passes by but where did he need to go now?
After taking his needed breather he sat back, looking over at the distance he needed to cover.
"Still a long way....." He thought to himself, a bit of sadness in his voice since he felt like he didn't do anything at all.
He wanted to stand up and continue on but exerting that much energy made his entire body numb.
He could only sit there contemplating on his decision, still looking over at the distance as nothing but the vast sky was seen.
He started zoning out, still keeping his head turned over the direction as he could only look back at his past......
The scenery changed, the beach reforming to the temple/shrine where the people from his past hometown would gather as they gathered for his wisdom and "God given" eyes.
He remembered the manipulation of his parents, him turning to a demon, all the women he ate, killing Shinobu..... Killing Kotoha......
Oh Kotoha, that woman was definitely something.
Her beautiful jade eyes still piercing through his memory as her infectious smile would always make his day.
He still didn't know why he killed her, his brain would always black out when thinking about that topic when he was still one of Kibitsuji's pawns.
But now that he's been reincarnated as a human numerous times it was clear to him what happened.
He killed her not because he wanted to, it's because he was scared? No, there's something else...
He trusted Kotoha a lot, both of them bonding for a long time when the goddess of a woman stumbled on his place with baby Inosuke at hand.
But when Kotoha saw his true self, by that I mean eating the women he kidnapped before.... Well she just ran.
The fear in her eyes as he chased her..... It was unbearable for him to see..... But being a demon at that time and the thought of letting someone go and the risk of him getting hunted down because of it made him uneasy, so he took it by his own hands.......
The memories of her screams still haunted him, but the old Douma could only laugh as she was torn up into nothing.....
A few years later he mortally wounded Kanae, sadistically smiling at the woman who tried protecting everyone from the village he raided as dried blood, shattered households, broken body parts were scattered around.
Old him would've smiled in delight looking at the massacre, mocking the fear on the Hashira's eyes......
He shook his head trying his hardest not to remember that, but it didn't work.
Then the final battle came, Shinobu gave him such a thrill of a fight. Smiling more and more as the smaller woman began to slow down and weaken as the injuries he inflicted upon her started affecting her body.
And of course the merging... He shuddered just thinking of it.... His old self only smiling in glee.....
He blinked twice, shaking his head afterwards just so he could stop this sudden flashback but it would not change, the area around still the temple but with the exception of darkness.
It was dark, real dark. He couldn't see anything at all, except for the little glint of light coming from above.
The thing shone over something, it was golden and looked like the thing was sharp.
He would be mesmerized with the thing, slowly walking over to see what it was and why did he feel captivated with it.
But as he got closer he finally noticed those things, items he despised the most.
Those wretched gold fans, a glint of the items reflecting back at his eyes to see.
All those screams, he couldn't forget a single one of them..... It was somewhat calming? No how could he say that?! Was he going mad?!
He breathed in a huge air, trying to clear his mind when he noticed.... Oh no......
Why was he back on this maroon skin tight mess of a suit again?! And why are the fans on his hand now?
He looked down at the pond, seeing back at his reflection to see his pale demon self crying sanguine tears with a smile spread across his face.
The reflection started to ripple, his blood like tears staining the water with the iron smell.
What was happening? Was he going crazy? This was nothing but a dream right? But why did it all feel so real?
The reflection then would show him smile even more, before his demonic voice would interrupt his thoughts.
"Haha! Look who we have here in our lovely abode! So what brings my *better* here?! Did you miss little old me?!" The voice took over his body with a mocking and sadistic tone, speaking as the remaining tears would drop down the water below.
His wide grin was reaching ear to ear extending even more as he shook his head once more.
No this can't be true... Douma already came into terms with this past of his but why is this happening?!
And why does all of it feel so real to him? No this is definitely a dream right? It must be....
But he still wasn't sure at all.....
"No, No! This isn't real Douma..... Just wake up from this trance so you can find Shinobu and Tomioka.... I must find them and bring them back to the others...... Wake up!" Douma would scream to himself, banging his head with the fans but it was only met by a huge cackle from his demon self.
"AHAHA YES! Wonderful! That Shinobu woman did taste exquisitely delicious! And that Giyu fellow was quite strong! If only I could've lived longer and killed him too... Ahh what a waste! All those sweet screams I could've heard as I tore him into pieces ahhhh it's like our mother's lullabies! Especially Shinobu-chan~~" the demon would mock, Douma trying to ignore all of his ridicule but whenever he would mention it just made his blood boil.
"SHUT UP! YOU'RE NOT REAL YOU'RE ALREADY DEAD!" He screamed at the voice, the boom on his voice only met with the demon him cackling like a witch.
"Oh ya dee da! Don't act like we weren't the same subconscious once! We killed Shinobu! YOU KILLED HER! Hahaha you're so naive! How are we even the same person?!" His demon self would shout once again, still mocking him even more.
This went on for minutes, guilting him even more but he couldn't do anything at all.
He hoped it stopped... Or it would make him crazy.... Or was he already starting to go crazy? All the demon's screaming discombobulated him to the point that everything the demon him would say just rang over and over.
"You know you should really just kill yourself by now, this is starting to get boring you know? You have full control here now not me see? I can only use you for speech so I can't have the satisfaction of slicing our neck as a fountain of beautiful crimson would spread color to this room! Ahhh thinking about it makes me shiver in delight! SO WHY NOT DO IT?!?! Come on coward kill yourself?!?! CoME oN BaSTarD DiE aLrEAdy!?!!! SLIT YOUR THROAT YOU FUCKING RAT COME ON!!" The demon him would scream, taunting him as temptation filled him.
He did want to end this all, he needed to do it didn't he? It would stop the nightmares right?
As the demon cursed and taunted him even more the decision came clear as day, he must die in order for this eternal nightmare would stop.
"Haha! Come on! JUST KILL YOURSELF ALREADY?!!!! END THIS NIGHTMARE ONCE AND FOR ALL!?!? COME ON!!" the demon screamed louder, his arms tensing up as he opened the razor fans and rested them upon his jugular vein.
"Shinobu, Tomioka.... I'll definitely find you both" he thought to himself, taking in a deep breath as he pushed the blade on his bare skin, piercing and making it bleed out.
And with a quick and unhindered swipe everything went black, the laughter of the demon disappearing into whispers......
He suddenly jumps up, looking around to see that he was back and unharmed.
He seemed to have passed out, that explains the whole illusion thing but why did it have to show up now out of all the times it could've been shown? That's messed up timing.
"Damn it..." He thought, shaking away the headache he just had from that stressing moment.
He slowly stood up, shambling towards the direction where he was heading, thinking about the two once more.
"I've said this already but I'm definitely gonna find both of you!" He screamed in determination, now running at the direction with a smile in his face.
Timeskip! Giyu's POV
I once more looked over the horizon, the lights from the camp already a bit visible to me.
That's great, I can finally rest after this...... But I shouldn't be comfortable yet... I still have Shinobu to worry about.
It was probably like five steps in when I saw the silhouette of someone running towards us full sprint.
At first I couldn't tell who it was, probably from exhaustion or because it was pretty dark even with the moon lighting the beach up but I swear I could see the person being male.
I thought for a second, should I risk calling out to that person or should I go somewhere opposite?
I can't fight in this situation, I may remember everything in my past but I'm not as strong as I was... And Shinobu is here, I can't compromise both our safety.
But then again it could be any of the guys just trying to find us, plus the woods are hard enough to travel into with such confusing tree patterns.
So the only option was to walk forward, and if that person was to attack us then I'd gladly stand my ground and lay my life for her safety.
I won't let anyone hurt my friends.... Especially her.
As the man neared I could see him slowing down into a pace similar to shamble.
Even with this fact I still can't see any qualities that I could reference to someone I know, all I knew the man was atleast an inch or 2 taller than I am.
The only people I know of that height or atleast close to that are Douma, Probably that Kaito guy since he was wearing shoes when I saw him and that makes a lot of difference and finally Uzui which is probably a bit low since the he's like 6'5 or taller.
As I counted each possibility I would notice the heavy breathing coming from the man, uneven intervals and pretty deep breathing. I mean he was rushing towards here, which I hope isn't the case but he was definitely running.
As I walked closer I noticed a similar trait from one of the 3 I've said, the person had hair that reached over the shoulders and probably even longer.
That takes the Kaito guy out, he did have quite a mop too but it wasn't as long as this.
So it downs do to Uzui or Douma, and I'm not even lying if I would've chose any of them because seeing atleast one of them is a good thing for me and the sleeping moth I'm currently being a pack mule to.
God I'd even pick Sanemi, I know the guy hates me but I'd seriously take any chance of any of them finding us.
Plus I've already forgiven Douma.... I mean I did so years ago, but it's still a pretty awkward friendship.
I barely say anything and I can feel the nervousness from him talking, which is weird since I only knew him from having such a foul mouth and him just being all prideful but I guess maturity did take over.
It's pretty nice that most of the past demons are already starting to turn a new leaf, heard Gyutaro and his sister Daki were part of some sort of entertainment group now. Daki being a model and an actress while her brother would be her bodyguard/coworker.
Gyutaro owned a bike shop to if I heard correctly, I mean he did have an affinity for motorcycles since they did have one on highschool where he would drive it to school with Daki.
I also saw Daki having her own clothesline, I saw an ad about it once.
I saw one of their shows once, quite neat and heard they even help with charity for the kids now. I remembered Uzui telling me about them being orphans and being shone upon by their town before turning into demons... Humanity can really be a double-edged sword.
I still feel bad for punching her before, good grief I remember their delinquent years just terrorizing everyone in the school.
And now here they are helping kids that experienced the same fate as they did but the siblings already trying to prevent that from happening.
Akaza, I definitely applaud the guy. Finally achieving his promise of marrying Koyuki once more.
I fought him in the final battle, him telling about how heartless humans were to him.
He screamed about the lost and anguish he felt when those greedy group of bastards poisoned Koyuki and her father Keizo on their first lives.
But look at them now Hakuji or Akaza's real name and Koyuki already having 2 kids and a happy life with Mr. Keizo on the dojo.
Kokushibo or rather Michikatsu Tsugikini is nice here, I've met the guy one time when I saw him with Muichiro and the legendary Yoriichi which are his uncle's here in this life.
The Tsugikini twins are pretty chill and are basically the same as Muichiro but they tower me, it's weird that Muichiro is kinda tiny.
It could be because her mom is the eldest of the 3 but she's smaller than Muichiro by and inch.
The other Upper Moons and some of the faces of the demon's I've seen? I don't know but I definitely saw some of them.
I think I saw Nakime, the Biwa Upper Moon with Uta, Mr. Yoriichi's wife.
Probably friends with them? Or could she be affiliated with their family? I should ask Muichiro later.
Well that Kaigaku kid is Zenitsu's brother, and I already saw him being nice to Zenitsu.
But I'll think about that later, I should think about the situation at hand.
As I came closer I could now see the person in clear view, and holy shit I'm surprised.
I carefully approached the blonde, kneeling down carefully as I could see the exhaustion spread through his face.
"Douma you okay? Holy shit dude did you go through all that just to find us? It's okay I found Shinobu a while ago just breathe first" I would stop him from exerting more, letting him breathe and relax for atleast a few minutes before asking him my questions.
After setting Shinobu down and waiting for Douma to calm down even just a bit.
A few minutes of me waiting for him to calm down even more and the only sounds coming from the continuous crashing of the waves.
He would finally talk, slowly but still understandable even if it could barely be a sentence.
"We...*pant*... We were finding you...*deep breath*... Then Shinobu went missing after.... But luckily you seemed to find her first before us...." He blurted out to me, my hunches being confirmed.
So they did try to find me.... So they do still care.... Okay not now, I should ask him if Tsutako was really there.
"I'm sorry but is my sister there? I heard some voices over the woods when I was walking around talk about her, probably the others but is she really there?" I would ask him, hiding some of the details about my failed plan to run again.
He looked at me, giving a reassuring and goofy grin before nodding.
"Yeah... She was there... It's okay now I just need to catch my breathe again God I shouldn't have run that long" he answered, before stifling a chuckle with me sighing in relief.
So my sister is here.... How long has it been? It's atleast 7 years max, I can't even comprehend if she'll know me at all.
Well technically the last time I saw her was around 5 years ago but that was still a long time.
I would think about it more but I need to... Or rather we need to take Shinobu back, the others were already rattled when they tried finding me and I can't say for sure how worried they are about her right now.
So I asked if anyone else was trying to find the both of us, Douma instantly telling me about it.
"Yeah most of us did.. but I'm certain that Makomo and Tsutako-Nee stayed, I think Mrs. Kamado did to" he would reply to me, slowly standing up before approaching us.
"I see..." Was all I could mutter, him only smiling.
I could feel the sudden weight of his hand over my shoulder, the heat coming from it was calming to which my body did relax.
"Thank you Giyu, you protected Shinobu even if I should've done it considering that it's my duty as her partner and husband... Seriously thanks dude" he would tell me, the words partner and husband giving me this unsettling stinging in my heart.... Why am I still hurt?
No I already moved pass this, Shinobu is happy you should be happy.... Just drown these feelings.... No one will get hurt.
This life isn't the one yet Giyu, just bear with this for now... The time will come just wait for now.... You can ..... You can do it.....
Narrator's POV
As Giyu stared of into space for a second there, Douma on the other hand tried snapping the man back to reality.
"Dude oi you were spacing out" he would shake him vigorously, the ravenette finally noticing it.
"I-I'm sorry... Should we go now?" He stuttered, the blonde nodding as he offered to carry Shinobu to let Giyu rest.
The walk was uneventful, once again the only sounds coming from the sand shifting and the waves still striking but in a calmer and quieter way.
The lulling songs from the cicadas and grasshoppers contrasting with the already calming night.
"So... Why did you suddenly run?" Douma broke the silence, Giyu getting startled because of the sudden intrusion from him thinking to himself.
"Oh?... I was only walking around for some air... Then Shinobu suddenly came and I didn't even notice her.... My reflexes going into overdrive which is the cause to why I almost punched her, I luckily stopped it but when I wanted to apologize or rather waited for her response to my apology she ran away.... So I could only contemplate about the situation and walked without even noticing I was lost" The man replied, Douma finally knowing the reason of him leaving all of a sudden.
"I see... But why didn't she tell any of us? That's pretty unusual of her.." Douma delves further, even Giyu wondering the same.
"I was wondering the same, I guess she forgot about it... That or she's still angry about me..." He replied once more, still pondering about her reason.
Once more the conversation died down, the two focusing on getting Shinobu back safely.
(If you guys be wondering why they didn't call the others well Giyu forgot his phone and Douma left in a hurry whilst Shinobu didn't bring hers)
Giyu would once again think, about his life and the weirdness he's been feeling.
He looked over to the husband and wife, Douma sweating profusely as the weight of the still slumbering on his back.
He would think on how weird it is to see Douma be such an affectionate person, I mean he shouldn't judge since he was also like him but in a different circumstance.
Giyu knew it was kinda hypocritical to say this but it was true.
Douma, well he's always been a piece of shit for him. Killing Shinobu on their first lives, tormenting both of them in the following ones and being the reason why they fell apart, but this was different from all of them.
The former Upper Moon was a nice and refined young adult, a good father to Umi and an even greater husband to Shinobu.
Well he was still a stick up the ass a few years ago so I guess that means he pretty much matured out of his childish self, unlike his Upper Moon days.
On the other hand we have Giyu, the Water Hashira who was calm as a flowing river but as secluded as a puddle of water in a underground cave.
He was antisocial, silent, introverted, he couldn't convey his feelings properly and all of the trauma and bad memories still hindering his very existence.
But now here he is being such a caring father, friend and family to the people who were once teasing him of being non talkative and reclusive.
Well it still happened a lot over the course of the century, so it wasn't that much a surprise for him.
But Douma being such a nice person? That's basically burning the whole ocean type of bullshit but it was still so unnatural for him.
But then again people even the most vile ones can change from experience or some sort of trauma, or something that triggers their past innocence/better memories.
As the 3 of them neared the camp, small grunt from Shinobu was heard. Both men looking at her instantly to see if she regained consciousness.
"Shinobu you awake? We're near the camp already so take it easy" Douma would tell her, the woman only grunting once more before falling back to slumber.
"Looks like she passed out again, let's just get her back. Let me carry her next you seem tired" Giyu would take, before insisting on giving his help to the out of breath blonde.
"Nah dude I can manage" Douma would reply, but Giyu still insisted.
"Come on Douma, you literally sprinted non stop just to find us just relax, I won't hurt her.... Not anymore....." He would assure him, whispering the last part to himself to which the blonde tried ignoring the fact that he heard it but still thought of it.
Douma thought for a second, noticing the sincerity and the regret he had in his eyes. It seemed sad and regretful.
Giving in, he gave her slowly and finally getting his muscles to relax from the long walk they did.
As they neared a familiar face would go and greet them, one from which they haven't seen in a long time.
Ubuyashiki Kagaya, fine and well with a smile in his face.
"Giyu! Douma! Ah I was worried when only a few of the others were here" He would go and approach the 3, a smile in his face.
Giyu and Douma were surprised, what was he doing here all of a sudden? Do the others even know?
"Hey you two alright? Looks like you two saw a ghost or something. And why's Shinobu on your back?" He would once more ask, the two finally snapping out of thought as they would look over the smiling man.
"So you two want to explain or am I gonna have to ask the others?" He would ask once more, the two finally nodding as they explained it all to him.
After a few minutes of explaining the man finally understood the situation they had.
"I see, but since Giyu and Shinobu are already here we should head back. It's only a minutes walk from here on" He would tell the two who agreed as they all walked back to camp.
Another turn of events mhmm.
Giyu's POV
That's was a surprise, Oyakata-sama is here all of sudden. Did the others invite him all of a sudden or was he just late for the sudden reunion?
They probably called him in last minute but I'm happy to see a familiar face again.
"Oyakata-sama, what's with the sudden visit?" I would whisper to him, the man only giving his heartwarming smile.
"Haha why whisper it to me Giyu? Do you not wish for Douma to hear our conversation?" He would ask me, Douma looking over and wondering what we were talking about.
I didn't mean to whisper but I should apologize for doing.
"I'm sorry Oyakata-sama, I didn't mean for me to whisper it" I apologized, looking back at him as he smiled.
"Ah no worries Giyu and please stop with the formalities I've already told you to call me Kagaya already, also with you Douma" He would answer to me, telling me and Douma to call him with his first name.
I could only nod while Douma smiled and nodded vigorously.
I was about to ask of his sudden appearance when he suddenly answered it before I could even say anything.
"Oh right if you two are wondering the others called us here, when I heard of Giyu and having a reunion I couldn't help myself but go here immediately after so long. I need a breather from all the work with the company and luckily I have the best associates to make this all happen" He stated, while I could only smile from Oyakata- I mean Kagaya still being the same as ever.
"Oh right! I forgot you were a CEO of a company for a second there. By the way how's Amane-san? I heard you guys had the last kids last month, twins right?" Douma suddenly asked, with Kagaya just looking at us with his smile.
"Amane is fine Douma and yes a pair of girls, she's very resilient and I'm happy that she still sticked with me even though I'm not much of a husband to her" He would answer to him, Douma giving a small heh to which I knew what he meant.
"I feel the same too with Shinobu to be honest, I still can't believe someone as nice as her would marry a pathetic bully with a unredeemable past of just torturing and belittling people's lives before. It's still something I can't believe knowing that I can't properly repent for all those horrid things I've done before" He replied, the said answer of his already seen from his eyes even before he could talk.
I looked over to Kagaya, patting Douma assuring him that everything was in the past and that he changed already.
"Yes our past selves are often irredeemable to our eyes but with the passing of time and all the goods things you've done till this point is already a sign that you've been trying to right those wrongs, so don't think about that at all Douma. Even the worst people could change from the slightest things that happen, it could be from guilt, their past and something we call chance" he gave one if his speeches, something similar to what he similar to what he told me long ago.
*Little Flashback*
Narrator's POV
Here he was over the place where Tanjiro was almost persecuted to death, the other Hashiras lined up as Ubayashiki started the meeting with introducing Giyu for being the newest addition to their ranks.
"Salutations my children, I expect you already know that Giyu here has joined your ranks as the newest Water Pillar. Now I gathered all of you today for a meeting about the new regions all of you need to guard as it seems that some of your past regions are already free from any demons and I'll leave some of the lower ranks to guard just incase" The main would thoroughly explain to the group, everyone of them nodding as they talked about the other problems like the declining trainees and the sudden incline of demons on more urban areas than that of the smaller towns.
After they finished the meeting everyone of the Hashiras would be left to their own accords but for Giyu he could only walk to his new estate on his own.
The walk was uneventful for him, he could only think of trying to socialize and blend in with the others.
The tallest of the Hashiras seemed calm but his sense of destroying those demons is the strongest he ever felt.
The flashy one with two swords was extremely passionate but was irritably loud for him.
The one with the butterfly pins was very nice but her literally little sister was a bit rude and had the aura of a rabid squirrel.
The scarred one looked like he had anger issues and was probably the hardest one to befriend.
The flame haired one was also passionate and had a good heart but he's a little loud.
He thought he saw 2 others, one with an ivory serpent for a companion and one with pink and neon green hair.
But before he could even finish himself he noticed the presence of the same person who led the meeting a while ago.
Kagaya Ubuyashiki infront of him as the man smiled.
"Giyu, I wanted to talk to you but you suddenly disappeared but here you are. Can I have a moment?" He asked the younger man, to which he nodded in response.
The two talked for a few minutes, Kagaya asking normal things like how was his day and if he properly met the others.
Giyu would answer truthfully to which Kagaya brightened with, but he could feel this tension inside him just laying dormant to his mind to which concerned the Corps leader.
That's why he he would suddenly blurt out "You know Giyu I can sense your fear and hesitation on being a Hashira, I've felt the on every one of the slayers I've met had this but yours is rather intense unlike some of them. Perhaps something of a memory from before you were in the corps?" The sudden question made him flinch and sweat.
Kagaya noticing he struck a nerve once more asked him, this time with even more intensity.
"Giyu please answer me truthfully, I've know a lot of slayers losing their family to demons but you, yours is somehow different. Yours isn't filled with avenging your family, the anguish inside you.... It's directed to yourself isn't it?" He finally asked, Giyu finally cracking as he looked at the older man with a look of defeat and sadness as he was right.
Giyu couldn't lie to him, he could read someone in an instant and here he was returning the nightmares he tried locking up but once again resurfacing after all those years of him trying to hide it.
With a simple response of yes, Kagaya could only look at him seriously before speaking.
"You know I have my regrets too yes? The past is often disappointing for a lot of people, I know it's hard but even with such a past you know what we people still have? Chance, everyone has it so don't go on blaming yourself okay? You still have a lot of things ahead of you" He would tell the younger man, the said man already trying his best to stop some of the tears dripping but to no avail he failed.
This encounter was something he kept on his mind a lot but didn't really try to understand at all but after all this decades he now understood what the person Infront of him said.
Mistakes are shackles yes but without them you wouldn't be where you are now, hurt they may but that only means that you're human, pain means you're alive and ready for the next outcome.
With that thought in mind the 4 of them would arrive in the camp, to which they instantly tried to find and call the others.
Sabito's POV
So here I am with Kaito running back to camp after Kagaya called us back after he found Shinobu and Tomioka with Douma.
I was glad that he could find him cause this was really tiring plus I can't imagine the thought of losing Giyu again, dude's literally my brother so of course I'd be concerned!
Anyways as we ran back to the camp, we met up with Rengoku who went to look over at the roadside.
God I just hope Tsutako and him can reunite again.
Back at the camp....
Narrator's POV
As Kagaya and the 3 arrive back they were met with the pregnant Makomo who ran into Giyu as she hugged her "brother" tightly.
Kanae seeing this ran outside to see Shinobu safely carried by the said man.
Kagaya could only smile as he saw the touching reunion, eventually looking back at the door to see his wife Amane holding little Kiriya who was still shy about all the people around.
And then there's Tsutako, if you could only see her face as she stared at her younger brother, the said man already matured into a fine young lad and exactly the same as their father was.
Yes you heard it right Giyu looked exactly like his father, really strong Tomioka Genes I tell ya... Wait a minute their Mom was in the Tomioka side tho.......
Anyways feeling the familiar gaze Giyu would look to see his sister, as elegant as ever and exactly like their mom.
But what shocked him was the huge bump in her stomach and the little kid beside her, this confirming that his hunch was right.
But who was that Kaito guy though? Could it his other hunch be correct even though he doesn't want someone marrying his sister in the first place?!?!#?"!?$(
I actually don't know anymore I'm starting to go crazy which by the way I already am, again split in the brain and wackier than a 90's cartoon.
Anyways! Back to the siblings who were now trying their hardest not to cry, more on Tsutako less on Giyu but yeah they were almost crying.
Little Makato looked at the two, his little brain experiencing some confusion as he looks over the man with the same features as his mother.
He looked back in fort at the two when she noticed that his mom was already crying so he gently tugged her skirt as the woman could only look at him with tears still dropping.
"Mommy are you okay? Why are you crying?" The little Tomioka asked his mother worried for her as Tsutako was already wiping her tears.
"It's nothing dear... These are just tears of joy.." she would stutter as a reply, the boy still confused on what was happening.
On the other hand Giyu was still staggered, she was here yet he still can't process it at all.
"Giyu! What are you doing your sister is literally infront of you! Hey are you even listening?! Giyu come on!" Makomo would banter, shaking the heck out of Giyu as he snapped out of his trance.
As the man looked over he saw her with open arms, smiling and still with drowning her face.
And with that Giyu ran, the same nostalgia hitting him as the past seemed to come back.
This very scene repeating all around his lives and all ending up in the same thing.
Him in the arms of his beloved sister.........
And with that I'll see you in the next chapter....
