something is wrong. i don't understand what's happening, but...

"jungkook?" jin asked, and jungkook smiled.

"yes, hyung?"

"is this real?"

jungkook gave namjoon a strange look before looking back at jin. "of course this is real. what do you mean, hyung?"

"i mean...is this all a dream?"

jungkook put a hand over his heart, gasping and faking shock. "are you saying that i'm just a dream? although i guess i'm honored that you're dreaming about me hyung but that's a little much, don't you think?"

jin laughed awkwardly for a second before biting his lip. "but...something's wrong here..."

"i don't know what you're talking about, hyung," jungkook said, tilting his head. "nothing's wrong. everything is perfect here. that's why you're here with us, so everything can be perfect."

jin frowned. something seemed off. "i don't know...i just feel strange, jungkook. like there's somewhere else i'm supposed to be."

jungkook laughed. "what, are you going to go audition for jyp or s.m.e. or something? you crack me up hyung."

jin's frown deepened. "why is that so funny?"

"because this is where you belong, hyung. here. with us. nowhere else."

then why am i hearing voices calling me home?

and where is home?

"i want to go," jin said, standing up quickly. "i want to leave."

"you're leaving us hyung?" tae asked, suddenly appearing next to him, and whereas jin wouldn't have questioned it before, it seemed strange now.

"yes, i need to go-"

"hyung's leaving?" jimin asked, suddenly in the room with all the others.

"jin can't leave," yoongi said. "he's supposed to stay here with us."

"no, i have to-"

"he's right, jin. you should stay," namjoon said, smiling at jin, and the room around them vanished, the walls falling away, the door disappearing, until they were all standing on a black stage. "there's nowhere for you to go but here."

"stay with us, jin."

"you can't leave us, jin."

"don't go, jin."

jin closed his eyes, clamping his hands over his head. "no, i need to-"

Jin opened his eyes.
