Everyone had come two hours ahead of time. They were all ecstatic because they had never been invited to a baby shower before. Let me rephrase everyone- everyone had come besides Jin, who was not receiving anyone's call.

Taehyung and Hye-Soo were losing their minds while Jia was enjoying herself with the rest of her friends. Ji-hu, on the other hand, was on cloud nine because it was the first time Aera had come to his house.

Without greeting anyone, Ji-hu grabbed Aera's hand and dragged her to his room with a big smile. He was excited to show her his room, his toys, and the new cycle that his father had purchased for him to ride at home, as well as some toy cars.

Hye-Soo had made tea and coffee for everyone with the snacks. They all sat around, talked, and played games.

Jin was getting on Taehyung's nerves. Taehyung had given everyone ample notice of the time, but Jin was the only one who hadn't shown up yet. He tried calling him again, and this time Jin answered.

"Hello, Tae-"

"Hyung, where the hell are you? It's been 3 hours and we all are waiting for you. We haven't opened the gift because of you." Taehyung yelled, silencing everyone in the room.

Hye-Soo approached Taehyung and snatched the phone from his grip. "Jin, please bring 8 large boxes of pizza, 4 different varieties of pasta, some soju bottles, and any additional dishes you wish to bring. This is your punishment for showing up late. I want you here with the food as soon as possible." She hung up on Jin before he could say anything.

Everyone else's mouths were open wide. Yoongi scooted closer to Jimin, who sat next to him. "What was that?" He queried in a hushed tone.

"Jin hyung is Taehyung's cousin." Jimin shrugged as he answered.

"Taehyung, is Jin hyung your cousin?" Jimin was pulled back to reality by Yoongi's query. He shouldn't have told Yoongi about it because it wasn't for the elder to know.

Taehyung took a deep breath and looked around the room. He looked for changes in facial expressions to figure out who had revealed the information. Jimin bit his lower lip, ensuring Taehyung that it was indeed his soulmate.

"Hyung, I-"

"That's great. So we are related in two ways now. Because you are also the cousin of my best friend." Yoongi smiled which made Jimin and Taehyung cough. They expected Yoongi to become enraged and reject Taehyung even after the second child was born. After all, they didn't believe Yoongi. But no! He is fine.

"C'mon, guys! I'm not that stinky now. I understand why you all must have hidden it in the past. And I'm glad you did that. I'm fine! Moreover, you both are my family now. So it is only better if I keep those useless things in the past. You both are looking uglier than usual. Look ugly instead." Everyone laughed at his sarcastic comment.

Jin arrived 45 minutes later. He was scared of his aunt. But he was genuinely busy. He sighed before he pressed the bell. Jin breathed a sigh of relief when Daehyun opened the door. His uncle was far better than his aunt in every way.

"Come on, son! You are dead meat today. We can fry you and eat as well." Daehyun laughed at his bad joke but he thought it was better than Jin's dad jokes atleast. He mentally patted himself, but the other glared at his uncle because he wasn't helping Jin at all.

Daehyun was merely trying to cheer him up, but he guessed it right. It wasn't needed anymore because he was already in the lion's den. He returned inside without helping Jin with the bags.

Jin entered the kitchen and placed all of the bags on the counter. "There goes nothing," he murmured as he fished out his phone and texted someone before putting it back inside and walking to the drawing-room.

Everyone's gaze was on him when he entered the drawing-room. They were all glaring at him, making him gulp. Before anyone could respond, he ran outside.

"What happened to him?" Namjoon asked.

"You all must have scared him." Song-yi reasoned.

"He was late though," Hoseok spoke with a shrug.

"Did he just come late and run away?" Jimin questioned with a shocked face.

"Don't you all think we should check where he has gone?" Jungkook spoke in a low voice but audible enough for his crazy friends. They all nodded and rose from their seats before sprinting to the window. They all looked down after opening it.

"Why are they behaving like kids? Ji-hu and Aera behave better than these dorks." Jia remarked, her gaze falling on the six weird males who were literally pushing and pulling each other to take a look outside the window.

"Remind me again why I came all the way here for Yoongi?" Shin-ah sighed, not believing her eyes. Even Yoongi was screaming because he was being pulled.

"I'm not even surprised." Yoona shrugged. She already knew Jimin was crazy.

"Baby, please don't be born like your father," Song-yi warned the baby in her stomach.

Daehyun and Hye-Soo, on the other hand, were bickering over the last slice of pizza. They started eating immediately after Jin went out after placing the food but were now squabbling over the last piece. After all, they were both hungry.

Ji-hu and Aera came out of the room to check why there was so much noise. They both sighed as they saw their grandparents fighting for pizza and their uncles arguing near the window.

"They are behaving like kids," Aera commented with a sigh.

Ji-hu nodded, commenting, "When will they grow up?"

The two of them exchanged glances before returning to the room. They had more important things to do than the adults.

Jin returned to the house which confused his friends. They thought he was running away. But here he was standing again with a box in his hand.

When Jin first arrived, he saw all of the angry faces, but now he noticed all of the shocked expressions. "I apologize for being late," he said as he bowed down and continued, "I had an important business which I couldn't delay. Also, I'm sorry for running away like that. I suddenly remembered that I forgot the gift in the car."

On not receiving a response, he stood back straight and walked toward Jia before handing her the gift. "Congratulations, dear!"

Jia smiled and mumbled a small "thank you" before grabbing the gift. She couldn't wait anymore to open the gifts. "Okay guys! We can delay fighting with Jin Oppa for a few minutes. Let us open the gifts first. I can't wait anymore."

Everyone nodded their heads with a clap. "Alright! Stop smiling and pass me the gifts here." She ordered as she sat on the couch. The gifts were placed in a corner of the drawing-room. Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook jumped to their feet and grabbed the boxes, which they placed near Jia. They had to make three rounds because the boxes were huge.

Jia instructed Taehyung to go get the kids once the gifts were placed beside her. Gifts unwrapping was a fun thing to do.

All were now present in the room, including Jia's in-laws who sat far from each other with a pout. They couldn't eat the last piece because it fell on the ground when they were fighting. As a result, the two of them were sulking now.

"First gift is by Yoongi Oppa and Shin-ah. Wahh! Such a huge box." She smiled as she opened the blue box. She noticed 5 different types of baby clothes, baby hand wraps, cotton hats, pajamas, and body suits. "These are so cute. Thank you both!" She smiled. Shin-ah threw a flying kiss while Yoongi returned the smile. She passed the box to Taehyung who placed them aside.

"Let us open Jin Oppa's gift." She smiled and opened it. She noticed different types of baby care products from creams to nail care set to silicon toothbrush. There was everything that the baby would need. Jia cooed at the size of the toothbrush. "Thank you so much, Oppa. That was really thoughtful."

Jin was standing near her. He pecked her forehead lovingly, making Taehyung glare at him. The jealous husband snatched Jin's gift from Jia's hand and place another one on her lap.

"Next one is by Jungkook." When Jia opened the next box, she found matching night dress sets. All the dresses had black checks. What surprised her was that it was for the whole family. For Jia, Taehyung, Ji-hu and a small one which everyone assumed was for the unborn baby. "This is so cute. Thanks, Kook!" Jungkook blushed at that and mumbled a welcome.

"Next is by Yoona and Jimin. Wahhhh! Too many teething toys and soft toys." Jia smiled looking at the cute soft toys as well as differently shaped teething toys. "Thank you both!" The couple smiled in return.

"So, the next one is by Hoseok Oppa and Song-yi unnie." Jia was shocked to notice winter clothes. Her due date was around December and ofcourse it had to be winter. She never guessed someone would be so thoughtful. She got speechless as she looked at two winter beanies, boots, three different styles of coats, and a dozen of socks. "Guys! This is really special. We had to do winter shopping for the baby but we decided to do it after the baby shower party. You guys literally made our work easier." Jia grabbed Song-yi's hands as she sat close to her. "Thank you both!"

"Next one is by Yoona? Didn't you already give a gift together with Jimin?" Jia asked holding a normal-sized box.

"Yes, I did but I made this specially for our baby. Open it fast." Yoona spoke enthusiastically.

When Jia opened the box, there was a pink knitted blanket. "Where did you buy-"

"Sweetie, I did it. You have no idea how tough it was for me to finish it on time." Yoona complained cutely.

"And when did you learn to do this? Why don't I know about this?"

"I learned doing this while I was in Japan. Then it became a habit. I would knit something while thinking about my work." Yoona informed and Jia's eyes teared at the love of her friends. She didn't know what she did to deserve so much of love.

"You are not allowed to cry today," Yoongi spoke which made Jia wipe her tears with a nod.

"Okay, so this one is by Namjoon Oppa." Jia chuckled at the coloring books, comics, and bedtime stories, and then there was a set called "My first learning library" that had the alphabets, numbers, colors, and all the basic books that a child needs. "Well, I thank you for this because it would be helpful for Ji-hu too." Jia smiled because Ji-hu still faced difficulties with alphabets, colors, numbers, and those basic books. He was still small but he had to learn.

"I bought these with that aim. It would help both the kids." Namjoon flashed his dimple smile.

"Tae, what's in that huge box?" Jia inquired when she noticed a huge box placed in the corner.

"That one is also by me. It is a stroller. No need to open it right now. Open it once the baby is born," Jungkook spoke.

Taehyung was already on his feet to grab the gift. He walked to Jungkook instead and hugged him tightly. "This means a lot, Kookie. Thank you so much for everything." The two of them hugged each other for a few minutes until Taehyung remembered something. "I'll be back in a bit."

He walked to his room and returned with a black box in his hand. He held Ji-hu in his arms and walked over to the couch. He placed the little one next to his mother and opened the box. There were three platinum band rings of different sizes.

Before Jia could open her mouth, Taehyung had already placed the ring on her ring finger. "This is a promise ring. I'd like to promise you and Ji-hu that I won't repeat my mistakes and will try and be a better man for our family daily. I promise to stay by your side till death does us apart. The third one is for our second baby." Jia was weeping now. She watched Taehyung put the ring on Ji-hu's ring finger too. He kissed his son who later ran away with a smile to show off his ring to Aera, completely unaware of what was going on.

Jia, on the other hand,  grabbed Taehyung's collar and smashed her lips on his. Her tears continued to stream down her cheeks, but she didn't break the kiss.

"Guys, get a room for yourselves. Aish! These shameless kids. Let us go and get the food before we lose our appetite." Yoongi whined and soon they all stood up and ran towards the kitchen to give some privacy to the couple.

"I'm lucky to have you. What a coincidence, I bought a ring for you too from the store the other day because I liked it." She stood up with Taehyung's help and held his hand, pulling him to their room. She went to her closet and grabbed the blue box with her.  "This is my promise to you and our family. I won't leave your side too and I'll always trust you, no matter what." She pulled out the gold ring with the little real diamond in the center and placed it on Taehyung's ring finger.

They needed nothing more than this. All they needed was the love and support of each other. They officially took this day to be the start of a new chapter in their lives.

Writing this chapter was really tough. I had no idea what is done at a baby shower party.

I had to google and read a lot about it. 

Also, had to watch a few random vlogs plus search a little too much about the gifts.

I was honestly getting bored to re-read and editing this chapter. It had more than 2250 words. But what can I do? I have to do it for you guys.
