5. World's most handsome man
Jia tucked in her 3-year-old son who was tired after the eventful day he had. Yoongi and Jungkook dropped them safely at Yoongi's house where Jia and her son had been staying for the last 3 years after Jia left Daegu and came to Seoul. She was glad that her elder brother lived in Seoul and so he took them in when he learned about how the girl left her house.
Making her way to the drawing-room, Jia sat down on the black couch and pulled out her phone from her pocket. She went to the phone gallery and opened the pictures of Ji-hu and Taehyung. The two had similar boxy smiles which brought a smile to Jia's face. She swiped and saw another picture that she managed to click when Taehyung kissed Ji-hu and the smile on the latter's face was too much for the mother to digest. She cooed at the picture. All of a sudden, she felt like looking at the pictures that she had locked securely in her phone to keep them away from her brother or son which she also managed to not delete.
The locked pictures brought back all the memories of her in the past. She had no right to get angry with her son who was fanboying over his favorite idol because Jia was the same when she was 22 years old. Moreover, she was fangirling over the same person her son was fanboying over. How funny, isn't it?

Flashback
"Are you really my fan? It has been just a year since I became an idol. I'm new to this!" Taehyung spoke as he looked at the girl sitting in front of him on a small chair.
They were in the backyard of the salon. It wasn't that big, but it was cute. Surrounded by colorful flowers, the place looked attractive. There was a yellow round table with four blue chairs that were placed in the middle.
"That has nothing to do with your popularity. You are talented enough to have fans." Jia grinned as she looked at the young male in front of her, who was fidgeting his fingers.
"You know, I'm still not used to this life. It amuses me when I meet someone who says that they are my fan or they love me. Roaming around with bodyguards is equally tough. I don't know if I should be happy with all the love I'm getting or if I should be concerned." He chose to look around this time.
Taehyung had always been a social butterfly. Recently, he missed talking to people and making new friends, just the way he used to before he became an idol. He felt the urge to act like a normal person after he saw Jia approaching him.
"I can understand. So, what brought you here to Busan?" Jia inquired politely. She felt like changing the topic. Taehyung seemed rather more nervous and so she felt that changing the topic was the best. It hurt her to see her favorite idol nervous and upset. His boxy grin suits him the best she felt.
"Oh yes! I arrived today here to meet my childhood friend, who is also the owner of this salon. He and his wife run this salon together." He got excited all of a sudden while remembering why he came here. "My friend was caught up in some work and so he asked me to wait. I was anyways free, so why not?"
"Oh! That's the reason why you know about this place so well." Jia smiled, remembering how the elder brought her to the backyard a few moments back as if he owned the place. "Will you be leaving today?" She asked, biting her lower lip nervously. She felt like she was intruding on her idol's privacy. Also, she didn't want him to leave so early. Sitting here with Taehyung was what she was enjoying at the moment and she didn't want to end this so early. She crossed her fingers under the table praying silently 'Please say no!' while looking at the aforementioned male.
A hearty chuckle made its way through the elder's lips as he witnessed the girl's nervousness. "I'm staying here for a week if that's what you wish to hear." He laughed this time which made the girl smile. His laugh felt like a beautiful song to her ears which made her heart skip many beats.
Silence fell all of a sudden. The 26-year-old male was admiring the beauty around, while the 22-year-old girl continued to admire the said male. She began fidgeting her fingers, contemplating her thoughts. Taehyung soon noticed the girl's expressions and decided to break the silence.
"We talked so much and I realized that I didn't even ask your name if you don't mind." He smiled awkwardly.
"My name is Min Jia. I'm 22 years old and I live here in Busan."
"Nice to meet you, Jia! So, what were you thinking about a minute back?" He finally asked, making the girl look at him with wide eyes. She didn't imagine Taehyung would notice her actions.
"Actually, I wanted to ask if I could take a selfie with you. A memory, you know! I promise you to not upload it anywhere or show it to anyone. It would be just for me. I mean, I'd understand if you'll refuse. I won't mind, because I understand how important your safety and privacy are. I just..."
Click
"You talk too much." Taehyung laughed, holding his phone while clicking pictures of the talkative and nervous girl. He continued taking pictures of her expressions which seemed funny to him. The girl had her mouth dropped on the floor and eyes wide open as if they would touch the sky now.
"I meant selfie, Tae! This is not what I asked you to do, humph!" She crossed her arms over her chest and pouted, not really noticing how she addressed the idol. But Taehyung heard it loud and clear and his finger stopped clicking the pictures. His heart began thumping at an animalistic pace if that's even possible.
"O-okay!" He coughed and maintained his composure. "Now stop pouting and look here, before your picture turns ugly. I know that I'm the world's most handsome man and you'll obviously look ugly in front of me, but still, smile a bit to look better." The handsome idol noticed the change in Jia's facial expressions and now he enjoyed teasing her. If he could get a day to act like a normal young man then why not? It wasn't like he was complaining, because he anyways knew that he won't see the girl in the future. It wasn't like it was fate that made them cross their path or was it fate? No one knows yet! He chose to not think much about his popularity or fate and enjoy the moment.
"Fine! Don't be so proud of yourself. You aren't that handsome even, huh!" She teased back, making the male furrow his brows.
"That must be the reason why you are my fan and you were behaving like a kid when you saw me. Of course, I'm not that handsome, but then again, why were you asking for selfies? Let's drop the idea of clicking selfies and go back in." He knew what he had just done. He locked his phone and was about to stand up when a hand grabbed his wrist. His actions were halted. He pressed his lips to avoid laughing and pulled a straight face.
"Sorry! Please don't go!" He heard not long after. The girl's voice became low all of a sudden. When he turned his head, he saw tears in Jia's eyes. He regretted teasing her now.
"Jia, I was teasing you. Don't tell me, you are a crybaby." He teased yet again, sitting on the chair next to her now. He wasn't in these kinds of situations before where he had to console a girl.
"You are rude! Meanie! And I'm not a crybaby." She wiped her tears and pouted.
Soon both of them got back to normal and Taehyung clicked thousands of selfies on his phone with different expressions. They looked like jokers in most of the pictures, but none of them complained. They enjoyed each other's company for more than half an hour before the girl's mother came to call her. They bid goodbye not forgetting to exchange their numbers.

Jia looked at all those pictures and sighed. She couldn't go back to the past nor could she stop hating the man in those selfies. While blocking all the thoughts and urge to call on the same number she still had on her contact list; she locked her phone, placed it on the table near the couch, and drifted off to sleep.
