"What do you want now?" As she received the call that rang the third time, Taehyung's mother, Kim Hye-Soo, inquired angrily. "Kim Seokjin, didn't I tell you not to call me?" She spat angrily, clutching her phone tightly as she tried to control her anger.

"Please accept my apologies, Imo! I'm doing everything I can to make things right. It has been three years since you broke relations with me as well. Why can't you forgive me?" Jin pleaded on the other end of the line. He sounded desperate and he was.

"Just because you're my sister's son and I entrusted you with my child doesn't mean I'll forgive you. My family is shattered because of you." Hye-Soo screamed angrily.

"Imo, I know that I suggested Tae to marry Jia when the news of her pregnancy came out. But trust me, I suggested him for his career. It had only been a year since he had become an idol, and there was already a scandal brewing. What else could you expect from me?" Jin explained to his aunt.

Jin wasn't lying. He put in a lot of effort to help his cousin in becoming an idol. He knew Taehyung was a playboy, so he never expected him to take anyone seriously.

Jin had worked in this industry for a long time and was well aware that such events were prevalent. He didn't think Taehyung would make such a blunder in his life, but since he did, it was his responsibility to guide him, which he did admirably. He simply advised his cousin to be honest with the girl and reach an agreement on whatever decision he made. He had never before imagined that both of their feelings were genuine.

At the time, he only had the impression that Jia's feelings were sincere. Now that Taehyung was aware of the girl's existence in Seoul, he could see how much his cousin adored her.

"You had him do everything he could to save your bloody agency's name from being sullied. Don't lie! Furthermore, you were the one who proposed that he divorce Jia after some time." Hye-Soo had become too enraged at this point.

"Imo, that wasn't the case. I told him to be honest with that girl. I asked him to talk to her about how he was marrying her to protect his career. I never advised him to have an extramarital affair with another woman. He didn't listen to me. Also, I had no idea Jia loved him. I assumed it was just a one-night stand." Jin spoke in a low tone which was clearly audible to Taehyung's mother.

On listening to Jin, she held her phone tightly in anger. She was finally learning the truth after three years. She thought that Jin was the reason behind everything because Taehyung had mentioned him when there was a huge fight going on at his house in Daegu after Jia and Ji-hu left. His parents had broken all kinds of relationships with Taehyung and Jin throughout the years. However, she now realized she was blaming the wrong person. Her son was the one who was to blame. It was all Taehyung's fault, and the poor girl and Ji-hu suffered as a result.

"You didn't answer. Why did you call?" She inquired again.

"After all these years, Yoongi finally mentioned Tae. He finally stated why he despised Tae. It was too tough to not let him know that I'm Tae's cousin. Otherwise, he'd despise me as well." Jin grumbled but kept going, "Imo, I'm equally guilty. That's why, for all these years, I've been protecting Jia and Ji-hu. I tried not to let Tae see Ji-hu whenever Yoongi brought him to his studio after I found out he was Jia's brother."

There was a long, uncomfortable pause at the other end. Jin almost felt that his aunt had hung up on him, but he waited nonetheless. "Okay, I'll give you a chance. You need to help me now and only then I will forgive you." Hye-Soo warned Jin which made him gulp.

"Of course, Imo. I'm ready to help."

"Good! Now listen to me carefully...."

And that was how their conversation went on for about an hour. Jin revealed what had been going on in his agency up to this point, as well as how much he knew about the Min family. His aunt, on the other hand, directed or rather, ordered him to do certain things.

"Kim fucking Taehyung! What is this?" Yoongi questioned, holding Taehyung's collar and showing him the newspaper. He was furious would be an understatement.

It had been a day since Taehyung saw his parents at the café. His parents left him alone at the café after that occurrence and went to Yoongi's house with Jia and Ji-hu. Taehyung was still ignorant that Jia owned the café.

"Hyung-"

"Don't call me that! How dare you be with Ji-hu? And how dare you go near my sister? I don't want your shadow anywhere near them. Look at what you have done." Yoongi yelled and smacked Taehyung in the face with the paper.

After seeing Yoongi's rage, Taehyung gulped. He crouched down and took the paper, curious about what Yoongi wanted to show him. And now he knew he had messed up big time.

The front page of the newspaper had articles about Jia slapping Taehyung. All of the photos were in the newspaper, and he instantly remembered how the same thing had happened before.

Only if, only if he had taken care at both times, his life would not have been a shambles.

"Remember, how you spoiled my sister's life the same way in the past?" Yoongi asked Taehyung with a bitter laugh.

Listening to it gave Taehyung goosebumps. This was the first time Yoongi spoke to Taehyung as Jia's older brother rather than his senior. Yoongi appeared to be concealing the truth from Taehyung, but he had now revealed it.

Taehyung felt awful. He did like the girl at that time, but a few misunderstandings turned him against her. And it seemed like he won't be getting the girl in the future as well. Or will he get the girl?
