hello! :)

i felt i needed to add something to this, just to give a little bit of closure. (mostly for me, and mostly because i'm so fucking passionate about this and what it stands for so i need to say something.)

let's get to it, i guess. let's talk about castiel. my sweet baby castiel, oh god he's been through a lot :-( at first cas wasn't even meant to be such a damn sweetheart, he was kinda a dick and anaise didn't like him at all. also, on the down low, i didn't plan on christophe being such a dickwad :/ but lets talk about cas, damn cas. he's a sweetheart but he'll fuck you up and ahhhh i had so much fun writing castiel's character and watching him develop :-) especially when he made up w/robert because they had a shitty relationshop throughout the whole thing :')

CHRISTOPHE. goddammit. i didn't plan to make him such an ass, and literally the only reason those torture scenes came about was because i was listening to melanie martinez and was completely insipired. also blame my writers group, they're a bunch of sadists. ;)
(but i like them a lot, we get along well.)

anaise, she grew so much :') i was reading through the whole thing again, and just thinking about how much anaise has changed. when she called christophe an asshole and punched him in the face, damn i felt good, i was like "yeah anaise! good fucking job! you are a strong young woman and i am proud of you!!" she was originally such a soft spoken character who stood for nothing and now she's a strong young woman with a child and a hella cute boyf :-)

the speech at the end, damn damn damn i was so proud of that like fuck yeah anaise good fucking job! i love anaise so much now she's so strong and beautiful and graceful and yes my sweet child is going places!

on the sequel, originally i planned to end it just there where they usurp the throne and then leave you all to make with it what you please, but then i thought, there's too much that still needs to be said. there's a lot of more things that this book can explore, so with the sequel there will be a lot more coming, y'all think that everythings fine now :-) christophe's dead :-) the monarchy is dead :-) hell no. this is just the beginning. i want to explore things like anaise's memories of christophe, of course the good ones and the bad ones, and i also feel anaise really didn't get time to mourn the assassination of her father, i feel she needs to process that more. also we never really found out who killed her father, and who the hell the power struggle - pro monarchists - are. so "when her campaign came" will really be exploring all that and more :)

concerning nanowrimo, it's such a wonderful community of people that i got to work with :) i was a little scared to partake at first because i'm a generally unsocial person and i was in the midst of my final exams but hey it happened and i'm so glad i did nano this year. my writers circle were so nice and welcomed me like i was already a member and itms great working with a bunch of people who love writing just as much as you do. (and coffee, god yeah coffee.)

anyway, bottom line is, don't be afraid of writers. we might be little weird, but we're nice. i swear. sometimes. don't be scared to do nano, because you're afraid that 50k is a load of words, because it definitely is, or because you're scared of the write-ins, the write-ins are the reason i reached 50k haha d: nano is a great way to meet people with similar interests and who are really willing to motivate you to reach your goal. i'm not a very popular person on wattpad nor in real life, the only person who willingly motivates me is my mom - sometimes. nano just gives you the extra push you need to actually reach 50k and beyond. (unless you procrastinate, like me. because someone gave me the strain on a hard-drive and i haven't stopped watching since... /:)

so thank you for reading literally 700 words of rambling, because i just did that. also thanks for reading the actual novel, that's cool too. :-) and look out for the sequel, because that ought to be good, i think. i hope.
