Your POV

You and Kakashi were walking in the streets of the village as some of the villagers began to stare at you and gossip amongst each other.

"Hey isn't that Tora?"

"Didn't she go rogue?"

"Why is she just roaming the streets out in the open like she isn't a criminal?"

"Why is Kakashi holding her hand? Are they together?"

"Kakashi together in a relationship with a rogue ninja? No way!"

"I heard she committed so many murders in other villages... She might come after us now unless they arrest her.."

"Wasn't she called the Savage Tiger? Due to all the lives she took?"

"Shhh!!! Be quiet or she'll hear you and kill you next."

You kept walking but kept your eyes on the ground. Then suddenly, Kakashi stops and faces the large crowd of villagers that were watching you.

"I suggest you don't talk about things you don't even know about. It could get you into a lot of trouble. So mind your own business before I get upset. Have a nice day." Kakashi said with a scary smile on his face which caused the villagers to stop looking at you two and leave speed walking in different directions. You flushed red when you saw Kakashi defend you. You were expecting gossip from the villagers but not this.

"Y-you didn't have to do that..." you said while looking away from Kakashi as he turned around to face you.

"What kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't defend you? Don't worry, that's just the way I am. I'll defend and protect anything I hold dear, which of course includes you." You looked at Kakashi with a shocked expression, but only to find him smiling at you. You had a sad expression and looked down at the ground.

"Thank you... Kakashi." You said while tightening your grip as you held Kakashi's hand. Kakashi sighed and gave you a soft smile. Then all of a sudden, a group of Anbu ninjas surrounded you and Kakashi. Kakashi pulled you close to him so he could prevent them from taking you. You saw the seriousness in Kakashi's face and became sad again.

"Uzumaki Tora (Name), you're under arrest for treason, murder, and several other charges. Come with us quietly so we can take you in for questioning. If you refuse then we have no other choice than to kill you." One of the masked men said while pointing to you.

"I'm taking her to Lady Tsunade, she has done nothing wrong at all. Lady Tsunade put me on a mission to save (Name) and bring her back to the village herself. If you wanna take her by force then you'll have to go through me first." Kakashi said while clenching his first. He wasn't going to let the Anbu get in his way, he wanted to clear your name so badly so you could live again in peace in the village. You sighed and grabbed Kakashi's shoulder. He looked back at you and you gave him a smile.

"It's alright, Kakashi. Thank you for bringing me this far... but I have to go with them. You just go report to Tsunade, alright?" You said while giving Kakashi a reassuring smile. Kakashi was hesitant, but he nodded his head. You kissed his cheek and then approached an Anbu member and held out your hands as they put you in handcuffs. You looked back to Kakashi one last time before you disappeared with them. Kakashi became irritated and ran to the Hokage estate to talk to Tsunade.

~ Hokage estate ~

Kakashi charged into Lady Tsunade's office without knocking or anything. He entered when Tsunade was yelling at Naruto and Jiraiya, but his sudden entrance took her attention off them.

"Kakashi, don't you know how to knock?" Tsunade said, she was irritated already so Kakashi's lack of manners at the moment didn't help.

"I'm sorry but... (Name)... did you give the Anbu an order to take her once we returned to the village?" Kakashi said with a straight face to Tsunade. Naruto and Jiraiya's eyes widened as they looked at Kakashi to Tsunade.

"Yes, I did. She's still a criminal and she needs to face the consequences of her selfish actions." Tsunade said while sitting up in her chair. Jiraiya facepalmed himself while Naruto started to get angry. Kakashi cursed under his breathe.

"Tsunade, you obviously haven't read all of (Name)'s files." Jiraiya said while rubbing his temples. Tsunade's eyebrow twitched.

"No, I did not. If YOU haven't noticed, I'm a pretty busy woman. I had to prep everything to send you guys to retrieve her, I only had enough time to have a quick look at her file. But I had a pretty good idea she left on her own-"

"Aw man, I'm an idiot. Tsunade I never gave you the documents and letters that old man Saurtobi had me hold onto during (Name)'s mission." Jiraiya was laughing nervously as Naruto's veins were popping out of his forehead.

"You forgot?! How can you forget something that can clear my sister's name, you Pervy Sage! I bet you were too busy peeping to even remember!" Naruto said while pointing at the appalled Jiraiya. A dark aura surrounded Kakashi. Jiraiya's spine shook as Kakashi stared at him.

"I just realized something... you didn't 'collect' any research about (Name), did you?" A shimmer appeared in Kakashi's eye as he gave Jiraiya a death glare. Jiraiya turned blue. Naruto cracked his knuckles. Shizune stood in the background baffled. Tsunade had her arms crossed as she was about to explode.

"YOU IDIOTS!!!!! WHAT DO MEAN (NAME) WAS ON A MISSION?! STAY ON TOPIC!" The guys sweatdropped as the bowed in apology.

~ after giving the files and explaining your situation to Tsunade ~

"Are you serious? Jiraiya you truly are an idiot. If you forget something important again and make me look like a fool ever again, I'll beat you into a bloody pulp!" Tsunade said while punching Jiraiya in the face. Kakashi sighed as everything was cleared up.

"Lady Tsunade, do you mind freeing (Name) then? Knowing her, she's probably uncomfortable and annoyed by now." Kakashi said. Tsunade sat back in her chair and sighed.

"I'll send the order out to release her. Just go to the jailhouse, pick her up, and bring her here Kakashi." Tsunade said while resting her head on her hand. Kakashi nodded his head and disappeared. Kakashi was worried about how things were going at the questioning. He hoped the Anbu weren't causing you trouble.

~ At your questioning session ~

"What were you aiming for when you left the village?"

"Wouldn't you like to know."

"What did you steal and offer to the Akatsuki?"

"Your mom."

"You think this is a game?! If you don't answer any of these questions then you will suffer the consequences!" The Anbu in the bird mask slapped you in the face. You couldn't do anything because you were handcuffed to your chair, your hands and feet separated to prevent you from doing any jutsu. But you refused to speak since you felt like if you did then you'd make the situation worse.

"And I told you I won't say anything unless I speak to the 5th Hokage. We can be here all day, but when I get out of these handcuffs you won't be so big and bad bird boy." You smirked at the Anbu.

"Tch! Who said you're going to be set free?! Don't go acting high and mighty when your nothing but a criminal!" He was going to punch you again until another Anbu grabbed his arm. You immediately knew who it was.

"Sorry, but I can't let you beat one of our own. I apologize for his rude behavior (Name)-sama." From the shadows appeared a man with short brown hair and a scary straight face. The other Anbu jumped back from seeing his face and got annoyed.

"What the hell do you mean she's one of us, Yamato?! She's a traitor!" The guy in the bird mask said while watching Yamato release you from the handcuffs. Yamato pulled out a piece of paper that showed the order for your release.

"Trust me, everything will be cleared soon. She is and has always been one of us. Kakashi-san is coming to pick you up, (Name)-sama." Yamato said while smiling at you. You were stretching your arms and legs since you've been sitting for an hour or two. You glared at the Anbu in the bird mask.

"Took Kakashi long enough. If he was faster, then I probably wouldn't have the urge to beat this guy senseless." You said while walking out of the questioning room. Yamato escorted you outside and both of you were waiting for Kakashi to show up while sitting on a bench. You closed your eyes to hear the wind blowing against the leaves in the village. The sound of leaves dancing in the wind soothed you as you looked back on the memories you made with Kakashi and your friends.

"It's so peaceful..." you said as you took in a deep breathe. Then you thought about something and faced Yamato.

"Hey, Yamato. You were so sure of yourself when you said I wasn't a traitor. Why? I mean I don't know you that well and I've only ever seen you once with Kakashi. So how come?" You said as Yamato looked at you questionably.

"Well, if Kakashi-san trusts you, then of course I can trust you. I saw the determination Kakashi-san had when we went together on many missions looking for you, and he truly believed in the fact you were innocent and never betrayed the village. Also, Lady Tsunade wrote in the order you were innocent." Yamato said while laughing as you sweatdropped next to him. Then you heard footsteps in front of you and looked up to see Kakashi. He looked relieved.

"(Name), are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Since I'm out of jail, does that mean everything is sorted out then?" You said as you stood up from the bench with Yamato.

"Well, you'll have to talk with Lady Tsunade before we can say anything else. Thanks again, Yamato." Kakashi said while grabbing your hand.

"You're welcome, Kakashi-san. I'll be on my way then." Then Yamato turned into a wooden pole, which stunned you. As you were making sense of what just happened, Kakashi coughed to catch your attention.

"Yamato's a wood style user, so that was just a wood style clone that was with you just now. But we better get going, the sooner you talk with Lady Tsunade the better." Kakashi said while walking with your hand in his. You grinned as Kakashi guided you back to the Hokage estate.

~  Outside Lady Tsunade's office ~

Kakashi was waiting patiently against the wall beside Jiraiya as you were having your conversation with Tsunade. They waited in silence until Jiraiya spoke up.

"Hey Kakashi, there's something important I have to tell you now before I forget." Jiraiya says while facing Kakashi with a serious expression on his face. Kakashi looked at Jiraiya, wondering what he was about to say.

"Yes?"

"I plan on taking (Name) away for a while to train and perfect her skills."

"Oh.. I see. And how long is a while?" There was a moment of silence before Jiraiya looked Kakashi straight in the face.

"At least three years." Kakashi's eyes widened when he heard Jiraiya. He was about to say something until Jiraiya held up his hand to Kakashi.

"Let me finish. It's not only for training, but so she can go into hiding and let things cool down. Now that the Akatsuki knows she was a spy, they might try to go after her and who knows what they will do if they catch her. Also, she has too many enemies right now other than the Akatsuki. Worry not, her uncle Jiraiya will be there to protect her!" Kakashi knew it was a smart idea to let you go into hiding for a while, but he didn't want you to go for his own selfish reasons.

"Isn't she safer here in the village? I can protect her too Jiraiya." Kakashi really didn't want to go even longer without seeing you, especially since you just got back together. Jiraiya shook his head and sighed.

"I know you can but it's much better to let me put her through intense training and let her protect herself for any upcoming battles. I know you two just got back together so we won't leave right away, but I already talked with Tsunade. She's coming regardless if she refuses or not. It's for her safety." Jiraiya said before grabbing Kakashi's shoulder and leaving the building. Kakashi was upset but he didn't let it show. Soon you walked out of Tsunade's office smiling.

"So, how'd it go? Is everything okay now?" Kakashi said as you approached him. You broke into a wide grin and hugged Kakashi.

"Yeah, everything's great! Lady Tsunade is letting me return to my duties as a ninja, she even promoted me to a jonin since I have no desire whatsoever in returning to the Anbu. I just have to do some community service around the village. Look I even got a vest and another ninja headband. I'm so happy!" You were still grinning while talking. Kakashi smiled because you were happy but he was still thinking about what Jiraiya told him.

"I don't want you to leave but... do I even have a choice..."
