Chapter Eight
~Y/N POV~
"Roar!!" Jeonsan
I couldn't help but laugh at my son, roaring at strangers as they walk passed.
There's a little Halloween costume party at his day care today and he's in love with his outfit that Jungkook bought for him. Not that he knows that but Jeonsan is just over the moon with it. I even drew on a black nose and whisker on his cheeks using my black eye liner and it came out pretty good.
Holding the little tiger's hand we walked into the centre together.
Jeonsan took off his shoes and put them under his peg that holds his name before rushing over to the day care nurse, Hana and roars at her, putting up his hands like a claw.
"ROAR!!" Jeonsan
She squealed pretending to be scared and hid her face in her hands.
"Oh no!! There's a tiger on the loose!" Hana
I could only laugh at the scene of my son jumping on her side and pretending to attack her but she just reacted my tickling him causing him to laugh in a fit of giggles.
I finished up pegging up his coat and bag. He does look adorable in that striped jumpsuit and he's having a fantastic time.
"Excuse me Mrs Jeon?"
I looked over my right shoulder to find the head nursery nurse, Sandra standing there behind me. Holding a piece of paper in her hand.
"Yes?"
She pushed out the piece of paper towards me which I took but cringed when I seen what this was. It was information of payment due. Instead of Sandra saying more she only lightly smiled at me which I sent her a nod in understanding.
"I'll pay soon I promise."
"Thank you Mrs Jeon." Sandra
I nodded at her before she walks away towards the other side of the centre.
"Mrs Jeon huh?"
I gasped and whipped my whole body around to face him. Watching him walk over, hands in the pockets of his black trousers, smirking at me with that stupid handsome face of his.
"Are you following me? What are you doing here?"
He chuckled and pushed back some of his hair from his face.
"I'm not following you. I didn't even know you go here too." Jungkook
Some how I didn't believe that which is why I rolled my eyes at him but then I watched him as he suddenly gasped and his eyes grew wider.
"Wait a minute. That means-" Jungkook
"YUNA!!" Jeonsan
Again I turned around to hear my son screaming another girls name. I heard of this little girl before, Jeonsan talks about her all the time at home. Calling her his best friend.
Looking over my shoulder I watched my little boy run over to a little girl dressed in a green fairy dress and hair tied in a bun. Grabbed her hand and took off running in giggles.
"Yuna follow me, kitchen is free!" Jeonsan
Watching the two kids run off together, the little girl laughing at him shyly I was in awe but yet she looked familiar to me. It only took a few moment to finally click in my mind.
That's Jungkook's daughter.
He takes her here too and all this time Jeonsan has been playing with her without even knowing that's his sister.
That thought still hurts but I push it away. She's just a child, she doesn't know any better and it's best neither one of them know the truth.
I picked up my bag from the floor, throwing it up over my shoulder ready to leave knowing my son is settled in but stopped when I noticed Jungkook's frozen state. Watching the kids in the back playing with the toy kitchen of make believe restaurant.
Looking back and forth between Jungkook and the children I didn't know what to say for a moment or if should introduce the two. I don't know, in that moment I was torn.
As a matter of fact I was about to leave it but paused mid step when my son called out for me.
"MOMMY!!" Jeonsan
I cringed when he called out for me but kept it hidden. It's not because he called me mommy but because he just confirmed what Jungkook already knew.
I spun around on my heels, smiling at him as he ran over to me passed Jungkook who was fully focused on watching him like a moving statue.
"You leaving?" Jeonsan
I nodded at him, but pulled him in for a hug when he pouted his lips. But when I looked up to meet Jungkook's eyes there was too much emotion in them for me to keep that eye contact I had to look away.
This is awkward.
"Jeonsan!!"
Both Jeonsan and I pulled apart to turn to the little girl approaching us but stood next to Jungkook.
"Jeonsan, this is my daddy!" Yuna
She tugged on his pants leg which finally made him get his act together and lightly laugh but bent down to his level as I stood back up.
"Hey there buddy." Jungkook
"Roar!" Jeonsan
Pretending to claw at Jungkook Jeonsan stepped closer to him but in return Jungkook chuckled and patted his head.
"Nice to meet you too." Jungkook
"You too minster. This my mommy." Jeonsan
My son smiled up at me and I couldn't help but smile back down at his adorable little face that owns my heart in every way possible.
"You pretty!" Yuna
She smiled at me, playing with the ends of her dress. Despite her looking like her mom, I do have to admit she's very cute.
"You're very pretty too. I love the dress."
Yuna giggled, and shifted from one foot to the other looking down shyly at herself.
"Thank you." Yuna
Even her little voice was cute, so petite.
"Yuna let's go play! Bye mommy!" Jeonsan
"Okay!! Bye bye daddy!" Yuna
The two took each others hands and ran off once again to play.
Jungkook waved at the two chuckling as he did before he turned around to face me, stuffing his hands back into his pockets.
"Do you need a ride to work or do you have your own car?" Jungkook
I shrugged at him.
"I could use a ride if your offering."
He smiled at me and gestured to lead the way out the centre which I did. Walking towards the exit but before walking out I glanced over my shoulder to find Jungkook doing the same, watching his children both playing together.
I just carried on walking to his car and waited for him to unlock and it and get in himself before I did. Strapping on my seat belt I was ready to go but yet Jungkook didn't yet turn on his car. Instead he just sat there staring at the centre with a blank expression.
"Thank you Y/n." Jungkook
He spoke to me in his low voice but didn't even gaze my way.
"For what? I didn't do anything."
"You could of took him away from me in there to prevent him from even meeting me but you didn't. So thank you." Jungkook
Finally he turned his head to face me, those dark eyes boring into my very soul as his hands clutched onto the steering wheel tightly.
"It's not like I had a choice."
He hummed at me and started up his car finally after buckling up his own seat belt. Once he started driving out the car park towards work I felt like I could breathe a little bit but I couldn't help thinking that was the first time he had ever seen or spoken to his son ever.
It almost choked me up a little bit but I kept it together. I shouldn't get that way but it was an emotional moment for me.
And I bet it was for him too.
