ASAEL
Waking up next to the woman of your dreams feels like fucking heaven.
She slept with her head resting on my arm which was extended over the pillow, leg thrown over my hips and every glorious, naked inch of her pressed against my skin.
Her mouth was parted, drool trailing down the corner of her mouth which made me chuckle.
Placing my finger under her chin, I pushed it up, closing her mouth and carefully wiped away the drool with my thumb.
It was Saturday which was a relief because I had no plans of leaving the bed, not when I had her with me.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, I watched her sleep, tracing her every feature with my eyes.
I traced the hickeys I left all over her neck, shoulders and her breasts with my knuckles, loving how she sported my mark on her.
Her brows furrowed, her breathing getting uneven as I felt her slowly wake up.
Then with a start, she woke up, jerking up into a sitting position. "Shit! I am going to be late, he will kill me for sure."
I pressed my lips together to stop myself from laughing.
Her head slowly turned back, her eyes widening and she let out a scream. "What the fuck are you doing in my bed?"
Putting my hand under my head, I smiled at her. "Good morning to you too, my weirdo."
She blinked at me in confusion, her eyes slowly travelling down my bare chest, her cheeks turning red as her eyes went even lower. "Am I dreaming?"
"Are you always this forgetful in the morning? I see why you used to be late for my classes."
That earned me a smack on my chest as she faced me fully. "Shut up. I remember now."
"Thank God." I teased.
Huffing, she laid down on her stomach, resting her chin on my chest.
"So, we had sex last night..." She drawled with a shy smile.
"Mhmm." I tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "The most scandalous thing I have ever done."
"Why, you never fucked a student before?"
I flicked her nose. "I never had a student like you."
Blushing, she pressed her lips on my chest. "You are secretly a hopeless romantic, aren't you, Mr Alderidge?"
"Only for you."
She responded with another kiss on my chest and climbed over me, placing her head in the crook of my neck.
"This is new for me", she mumbled. "I don't stay the night when I have sex and definitely don't cuddle."
"This is new for me too, love."
"I guess I am special then."
Kissing the top of her head, I murmured, "You have no idea."
"You are special to me too, Asael."
"I am glad."

"I have been meaning to ask this for a long time." Verena picked up the ring lying on the nightstand after we were done having a shower. "This is your wedding ring, right?"
The plain gold band looked old as she inspected it. "No. That's not my wedding ring. It belonged to my grandfather."
Her shoulders relaxed. "Then why did you wear it on the first day of AU? That too on your ring finger?"
I stepped closer to her and gently dried her hair with the towel. "I am aware of the female attention I receive so I wore it just to keep everyone away."
Her mouth formed an 'O'.
"Although, it was a stupid decision for it gained me some unnecessary attention from my fellow professors who asked me if I was married. I removed it after that." I explained.
She nodded. "I see."
Humming, I continued to dry her hair and once I was done, I placed away the towel and taking her hand in mine, led her out of the room.
"I am hungry." She told me in a low voice.
"Don't worry, I plan on feeding you."
"Are you on the menu too, Mr Alderidge?" She batted her eyelashes at me.
I could feel myself getting hard, my grey sweatpants did nothing to hide my arousal.
I smacked her ass hard enough to make her yelp. "Behave or you will be choking on my cock instead."
"Oh? Sounds yum to me."
God, this girl will be the death of me.
Bending down, the grabbed the back of her thighs and threw her over my shoulder, smacking her ass.
"Very controlling behaviour." She spoke, hanging from my shoulder. "No wonder your marriage didn't work---shit, I didn't mean that. Fuck, that was a bad joke."
She didn't need to apologise for it because I was already laughing as I carried her to the kitchen. "Yeah, that was a bad joke."
Entering the kitchen, I placed her down on the kitchen island, standing in between her legs. "Now, sit here."
"Okay, Daddy."
I groaned. "Verena. If you continue this then I won't be able to make you breakfast."
"That's fine with me. Who wants food when I can have you?"
Her stomach growled at that making her cheeks flush with embarrassment. "Shit."
"Yeah, you need food, my weirdo." Leaning in, I licked her earlobe making her shudder as I whispered huskily, "Then you can have me however you want."
She watched me with desire in her eyes and nodded.
Pleased, I walked away and gathered the ingredients to make us a simple breakfast.
As I was busy whisking up the eggs, I heard her walking around before she came to stand beside me.
"Didn't I tell you to sit there?"
"But I want to help."
"No. Go, sit down."
She huffed. "You are so demanding. Fine, I won't help you but I won't sit either."
She was stubborn. Since I didn't want to argue I remained silent and let her stand there and watch me cook the scrambled eggs.
"What exactly are you making?" She asked when I took out the bread.
"Scrambled eggs sandwich. It's a favourite of Arien and I."
"Oh, sounds good."
Once I was done making it, I plated both the sandwiches on one plate and carried it to the kitchen island.
Taking a seat, I pulled Ver on my lap, lifting the sandwich to her mouth.
"Wow, okay, I have never been treated like this." She mumbled, taking a bite of the sandwich.
Chewing, she gave me a thumbs up, speaking in a muffled way, "It's good."
Overwhelmed with her cuteness, I pecked her lips.

VERENA
This was the best day of my life.
Snuggled against Asael on his couch, we watched a romantic comedy as per my request, though he paid more attention to me than the movie.
I haven't gone back to my dorm ever since Friday night. We spent the weekend together, kissing, fucking and cuddling and lots and lots of talk.
He had his arm around my shoulder, our legs tangled together under the thin blanket that covered us, our fingers intertwined together.
"Asael?"
"Hmm?"
"What if I trouble you in class tomorrow? Are you still going to scold me?"
He tilted his head at me, frowning slightly. "Every time you trouble me I lose track of what I was teaching. It frustrates me. Also, I can't be partial against you."
"You are always partial to me." I accused. "Always picking on me, scolding me, being strict with me."
"Yeah? How about every time you deliberately try to defy me? Be a good girl and I won't say anything."
I pouted. "Every time you scold me I feel like a kid, it's embarrassing."
His gaze softened, cupping my cheek he brushed his lips over mine. "I'm sorry, I never meant to embarrass you."
I melted in his embrace. "It's okay."
"We will have to be careful," I added. "We can't have anyone suspecting us."
He stroked my cheek lovingly. "I am sorry this has to be this way. Secretive. I wish nothing more than to announce to the world that you are mine."
"I want that too", I whispered gloomily.
"Soon. I promise."
I smiled against his lips, kissing him softly.
"This looks cosy." Arien's disgusted tone drifted into the living room.
That had me pulling back from the kiss as Arien strolled into the living room wearing a black leather jacket on top of his black t-shirt giving him an even more lethal look.
Grabbing the remote he changed the movie, putting on a cricket match instead.
"Ever heard of privacy?" Asael gave him a pointed look.
Arien mirrored that look from where he stood leaning against the wall. "Look who's talking."
Asael's jaw clenched, he shot a glare at his cousin, both of them silently communicating before Arien rolled his eyes and looked back at the TV.
Asael sighed, pulling me close to him.
Arien glanced over at us, grimacing. "Do you both mind limiting your PDA? It's disgusting."
I scoffed. "Wait till the day you find a girl who you will worship."
He slumped down on the other couch, eyes fixed on the match. "Love renders people stupid. I don't wish to stoop to that level."
"I'll see."
"Sure."
Asael stared at him with a soft, sad look. He had mentioned how he would love for Arien to find someone he could love other than his family.
"Hey", I whispered.
He glanced at me. "Yeah?"
"Can I invite Zahria so we can all have dinner together? I would love for you to meet her personally."
He kissed my cheek before getting up. "You don't need to ask, love."
.
.
.
I hugged Zahria the moment she stepped out of the elevator. "I missed you."
"I don't think so." She chuckled. "You were busy having a sex marathon."
I gave her a playful shove before leading her into the kitchen where Asael and Arien were setting up the dinner table.
As soon as we entered, her eyes narrowed at Arien, her jaw clenching as she paused. "You!" She pointed sharply.
Arien's head snapped to her as he frowned at her. "Do I know you?"
Asael and I looked between them in confusion.
"You really have the audacity to say that after last night?" She walked closer to him, digging through her handbag.
She pulled out a bundle of cash from her purse and threw it directly at Arien's face making me gasp. "There's your fucking money. I don't need it."
That bundle smacked Arien on the face before falling to the floor with a thud. Arien's eyes closed, jaw ticking.
"What the hell is going on?" Asael demanded.
"Your brother was drinking and driving last night. He crashed my car." She snapped. "Instead of saying an apology he threw this bundle at me."
Now, Asael looked even more pissed off as he turned to Arien. "You were drinking and driving? Again?!"
Arien's eyes snapped open. zeroing at Zahria. The look in them was so deadly, the promise of destruction.
That had Asael stiffening as he turned to me. "Get away. Both of you. Now."
Zahria might not be scared but I was and I trusted Asael's judgement so I grabbed her hand and dragged her out of there.
"I am leaving." She announced, stomping to the elevator without a goodbye.
As she left, I walked back to the kitchen cautiously and glanced inside.
Arien was breathing heavily, Asael held his shoulders firmly, pressing his forehead to his as he spoke in a low voice.
I didn't dare disturb them. A moment later, Asael asked something to which Arien nodded making Asael sigh and step away.
Arien got back to setting the table, a distant look in his eyes but he looked relatively calmer.
Asael was the only one who could tame him, it was foolish of me to think that a woman could survive with him.
