Chapter 1: Do You Want to Build a Snowman?

Elsa

          “Princess Elsa, it’s time to get up and ready miss.” I hear down stairs as I open my eyes. I yawn and stench before I sit myself up. “Thank you Gerda, I’ll be down soon.” I yell back as I sit in bed for a while. I turn and looked at my balcony; white snow slowly lands on it and covers it. I smile to myself as I hear the door open and hear someone run to me. “Elsa! It’s snowing!” I hear before someone jumps on me and knocks me off my bed. “Anna!” I laugh as we both lay on the ground laughing.

          “I am so sorry; I was just so excited to see snow! We haven’t seen it for so long!” Anna says and stands up just to spin around. She’s already dressed and ready to go play in the snow. This is the first time in a long time that she’s been up before me, but she’s only up before if it’s snowing. “I know silly, and we’ll go outside but can I please change?” I ask giving her my puppy dog look. She rolls her eyes, “Yes. But hurry! I want to build a snowman!” She sings before she leaves my room. I giggle to myself as I look back out the window.

          I slowly walk over to it and put my hand to the cold glass, every time I see snow, I think of the boy with the snow white hair and light blue eyes. After seeing him twelve years ago, I can’t stop thinking about him, I don’t know why. I haven’t seen him since. “Elsa! You better be getter ready up there!” I hear downstairs. “Almost ready Anna!” I yell even though it was a lie. I quickly put on a long sleeve shirt and my blue coat on with my black pants and blue boots.

          I start to look for my hat and gloves and can’t find them anywhere. “Where are they…?” I thought then I heard a bark. I slowly turn to see our little white husky puppy in the attack position with my gloves and hat in his mouth. “Olaf… Give mommy her gloves and hat.” I say slowly and start to walk to him; his tail starts to wag faster the closer I get to him. Finally I jump but his too fast for me and take off running. I land on the floor to see my hat. Damn dog still has my gloves! “Olaf! Get back here now!” I yell and chase after him.

          I see Olaf run out of the run and down the stairs; I follow to see Anna down the stairs looking at Olaf. “Anna! Stop Olaf, he has my gloves!” I yell as I see her try and grab him but he dodges her and keeps running. “What is going on?” Anna asks as she follows me chasing our dog. “Olaf took my gloves! We have to get him.” I say and run faster as he starts to go into our father’s office. “Oh boy… This is going to be bad.” Anna says as we stop by his door. I take a deep breath and walk in only to see my father holding Olaf and my gloves.

          My father is giving me and Anna a sour look while Olaf is just panting and waging his tail more. “Elsa, Anna, what is this about?” He asks as he hands Olaf to Anna and gives me my gloves. “Anna and I were going to go play in the snow and Olaf took my gloves.” He gives me a look, “The soon to be Queen of our kingdom should not behave.” He says with a strict voice. I lower my head, “I know father, I’m sorry.” “Oh Agdar, stop being so harsh on the girls.” I hear and make my head pop up.

          I turn to see my mother by the door. Her long brown hair hanging over her shoulders as she walks over to my father. I hear my father sigh, “Idun….” He growls as she places her hand on his shoulder, “Elsa is eighteen today, let her be the goofy girl we raised her to be.” She says and gives him her look. This look is the takes my father she won, it was over. I know my father is trying to fight back but finally he sighs and looks at me and Anna. “You’re right as always Idun, girls I’m sorry. Go have fun but be ready for the party tonight.”

          We both nod as we go in for a family hug, I feel my father kiss me on the top of my head, “Happy Birthday my princess.” I smile, “Thank you father.” We pull back and start to walk away before I hear my father say, “Oh Elsa, can we….” “Agdar, not now, we’ll tell her later.” I hear my mother say. I turn, “Tell me what?” I ask. My father shakes his head, “It’s nothing Elsa, I’m sorry we’ll tell you later. Go have fun.” I raise my eyebrow but I know they are both done talking so I grab Anna’s hand and we run outside.

          “I think this is the best snowman we ever made.” Anna says as we sit on the frozen ground and look at our snowman. I look at her, “I think you’re right.” She smiles as I wrap my arm around her and pull her in a hug. This is what I like, being with my sister and hanging out in the snow. But of course, that never last. “Elsa! Anna!” I hear making me and Anna turn to see our cousin Rapunzel running to us.

          “Punzel, what’s wrong?” I ask as I stand up and grab her hands, she was shaking. “Some of the Dream citizens are fighting with our citizens! We have to get your parents!” She yells as we all run to grab my father. Twenty minutes later we were in the middle of the village and we saw people fighting. “Girls you stay in the carriage, I’ll be back soon.” My father says as he gets out. “What they fighting about this time?” Anna asks as she lends her head on the window of the carriage.

          “This war between our Kingdom and the Dreams Kingdom goes way back sweetie.” My mother says. I look at her, “What happened?” She sighs, “Your great great great grandfather had a daughter and she was to be married to the King for the dream Kingdom’s son. But she couldn’t go through it and ran away. That Kingdom never got over it.”

          “So we’ve been in war for years because of a stupid wedding?” I ask. My mother nods, “It was support to tie our Kingdom’s together, and with her leaving, destroyed it” I look out the window to see my father coming back. “Damn Dream, he has no right to talk to me like that. A curse to his whole Kingdom!” My father yells and my mother hits him with her fan, “Bite your tongue Agdar.” He gives my mother a look and she glares, “Enough of this, come, we have to go to go home and get ready for the party.” My mother says and tells our driver to go. “I’m sorry dear, that Kingdom just…” My father tries to clear himself but my mother puts her fan up, “Enough, we are done with this talk. It’s bad enough that our daughter had to see it on her birthday.” My father to turns to me, sorry in his eyes, I shrug it off. Right now, my mind was somewhere else.

Jack

          I sit as the snow starts to fall on my head but I don’t care, my mind is somewhere else. I sigh as I pet my great dane Sven watching the snow hit the frozen lake. “Oh Sven, I can’t get my mind off of her.” I say as I look at my dog but his asleep with his head on my lap. I roll my eyes, “You’re a great listener.” I say as he snores. I laugh and look back at the lake. After seeing her for twelve years ago, I couldn’t get her out of my mind, her soft snow blonde hair and dark blue eyes, she was beautiful.

          I lay back and feel the snow go into my hair. I open my eyes to see my best friend Kristoff standing over me. “Of course I would find you here.” He says with a smirk. I roll my eyes, “Hello Kristoff, what do you want?” I ask making Sven get all excited to see him. “Hey boy! Who’s my good boy?” Kristoff ask as him and Sven jump around. “Well I am Kristoff! I’m the best boy ever!” Kristoff says in a goofy voice.

          “Why do you talk for my dog in that voice?” I ask sitting up. He shrugs, “Why not?” I laugh and shake the snow out of my hair. “So what do you want?” I ask again and that’s when Kristoff’s face went serious, “There was a fight with the Arendelle Kingdom again.” I sigh, “Really? Why are they fighting over something so stupid, it’s not our fault that my great great great grandfather’s son ran off and didn’t marry the Arendelle’s princess.

          “What a dumb war.” I say and stand up. Me and Kristoff start to walk back to the castle but were stopped by Benny our goofy, over the top, crazy man. “Hello my friends!” “Hello Benny? What are you doing?” I ask as we shake hands. Then I see the smile, oh God he was planning something. “I’m glad you asked we have a party to go to.” He says and holds up three invites.

          Kristoff and I take one and look. “This is for Princess Elsa’s birthday tonight. How did you get these?” I ask shocked, Elsa is Princess to the Kingdom of Arendelle, we can’t go to this, we’ll get killed. “I have my ways, come on! It’ll be fun and it’s a masquerade party! We’ll be wearing mask. It’ll be fun my go lucky friends.”

          I know Benny is hiding something from us, “Whose the girl?” I ask and that got him to start rubbing his neck, “What makes you say there’s a girl?” “Because Benny every time you get us to go on these stupid tricks to the Kingdom of Arendelle which I remind you, hates us with ever bone in their body, well they hate Prince Jack here.” Kristoff says and points at me. I glare but he doesn’t say anything. “It’s because of a girl.”  He finishes and crosses his arms. We wait for Benny to talk and finally he laughs, “Alright you got me, I meet a girl and she’s from that Kingdom, and she’s hot! I know she’ll be there so we have to go.”

          “Not going to happening friend, I’m not getting killed because of you.” I say and push the invitation into his hand and start to walk away from him. “Jack, I heard that girl with snow blonde hair will be there.” I stop and turn back around, “Are you saying that to get me to go?” I ask raising my eyebrow.

          He shrugs, “I don’t know, am I? There’s only one way to know.” He says and holds up my invite. I look at it for a while then sigh and grab it, “Fine we’ll go but if I get killed, I’m haunting you for the rest of your life.” He laughs and slaps me on the back, “That’s the Jack I know and love! Now come one, let’s go form some mask and make ourselves look sexy as hell.” I roll my eyes and laugh. To tell the truth, this might be a good thing, this was something I needed. Maybe something good will happen tonight.

Chapter 1 is done!!!! That was so much fun to write! Ah I love it!! Anyways, so guys I am going to name ever chapter a song, I want you to give me singer and you have to sing/write me a part from the song, so we the know title of this chapter, so tell me who wrote it and then sing your little hearts out!!!
