Anyway here's the update!!

"Hi Arnav... What a surprise!" Khushi exclaimed joyously

"Hey... How have you been!" Arnav asked. Fighting the urge to hug the daylights out of her

"Um... Great" Khushi said

Arnav smiled

"Uhm... Arnav, You needed not come, I-I mean you're the groom. You must've been busy with... All the rituals" Khushi said

"You... Didn't like that I came?" Arnav asked

"No... Just that-" Khushi started

"Oh... Right, I forgot, You're independent. You like to do things on your own. But now that I'm already there... Let's go please" Arnav said somewhat sarcastically

And Khushi caught on

"You're... Still angry?" She asked

"No... I'm not angry... Why'd I be?" Arnav asked

"Because... I left. Because I didn't talk to you before deciding on going. But I swear Arnav... Uss waqt aur kuch samajh nahi aa raha tha... Uss waqt bas yeh hi... Theek lagaa (At that time, I wasn't able to comprehend things... At that time it seemed to be the right thing to do)" Khushi said

"One year Khushi... Twelve months... Three hundred and Sixty Five Days, You can't even imagine how much I've missed you... We have missed you!" Arnav said

"I missed you too... Nannav!" Khushi said

"Not that name Khushi!" Arnav warned

"You're still allergic to that nickname Arnav? It's such a sweet name!" Khushi said innocently

"Oh shut up KG" Arnav said annoyed

"Okay. Let's go" Khushi said with her hands held up in surrender

"How's everyone at home?" Khushi asked during their drive home

"Everyone is good..." Arnav said in a low voice

"Is something wrong? Has something happened?" Khushi asked

"N-Nothing... Nothing Khushi" Arnav lied

"You're a terrible liar Raizada!" Khushi said matter of factly

"The Marriage... Isn't happening anymore. It's called off" Arnav said

"Wh..aatt!! But aaj toh mehendi thi na Dia ki? (Today was the mehendi ceremony of Dia Right?)" Khushi asked

Arnav sighed

"She... Eloped" Arnav said gravely

"Exactly kya hua hai?(Exactly what has happened?)" khushi asked

Arnav told her the happenings in the Gupta House in her absence

"Arnav... Amma aur bauji theek hai na? (Arnav... Mumma and Papa are fine right?)" Khushi asked worried

"Haan... Sab theek hai Khushi (Yeah.. Everything is fine Khushi) And the rest of the questions can be asked once we reach home safely" Arnav dismissed her

"That's the worst way of ending a conversation Arnav Singh Raizada. You just murdered that conversation!!" Khushi said annoyed

"Yaar tumhe doctor kisne bana dia...??? (Who made you a doctor??) I mean... You're such a chatterbox!! How do they handle you!?!" Arnav asked with mock surprise

"Jaise saari zindagi se tum jhelte aaye ho... (The way you have handled all your life)" Khushi shot back

"Oh Poor they..." Arnav said faking sadness

"Hmm... Maar Khaani hai?? (You want to get beaten up??)" Khushi asked

"You'll.. Beat me up??" Arnav asked amused

"Arnav Singh Raizada!!!!!" Khushi warned frustrated

"Acha baba bahut ho gaya... Lo ghar bhi aa gaya (Okay Now that's enough... We are home already)" Arnav observed

He stopped the car in the parking area and helped Khushi with her bags.

"Tum dono fir lade?? (Both of you fought again?)" Ratna asked seeing the grumpy face of our Jalebi Queen As both entered the hall

"Maa... Aapne iss laad-governor ko mujhe lene kyu bheja? (Mother why did you send this laad-governor to receive me?)" Khushi whined

"Acha nahi lagaa?? Wapis chodke aauin?? (Didn't you like it?? May I drop you back)" Arnav asked

"Ab kya hua... Kya kia tumne chote?? (Now what happened?? What did you do Chote??)" Ratna asked skeptical

"Ma... Aap meri ma ho ya uski? (Ma Are you my mother or hers??) everytime you side with her and not me" Arnav said grumpily

"Kyunki mein jaanti huin mere chote kaise hain... Aur mein yeh bhi jaanti huin ki meri Khushi kaisi hai (Because I know how my chote is and I also know how my Khushi is)" Ratna Said

Khushi smiled and hugged Ratna

"I missed you Maa" She said

"I missed you too Gudiya (Doll)" Ratna said

"Bauji" Khushi called

"Pehle sabse mil toh le, Sab besabri se intezaar kar rahe hain tera. Amma aur Bauji toh yaheen hain (First meet everyone, Everyone was waiting impatiently for you. Amma and Bauji are here only)" Shashi said

Khushi smiled

Khushi then met everyone else

"I missed you all soo much" She said

"Khushi Di... Yeh Payal hai, (This is Payal) Remember I told you about her??" Akash asked

"Hi Payal" Khushi greeted politely

"Hi Khushi Di" Payal greeted back

"You're more beautiful in real life than in photographs" Khushi complemented

Payal blushed

"Same goes for you Di" She said

"Amma." Khushi called

"Sit down first... Thakti nahi ho? (Don't you get tired?)" Garima asked

Khushi sat on the couch

"What had happened?" Khushi asked

"Nothing Khushi, Shayad hum hi kabhi usse nahi samajh paye (Maybe... We could never understand her)" Shashi said

"Bauji" Khushi whispered

"Tu kyu pareshaan ho rahi hai titliya... Abhi abhi itna lamba safar karke aayi hai... Aaram kar. We'll talk in the morning. Okay? (Why are you getting worried Butterfly? Just now you've had such a long journey. Take rest)" Shashi said

"Ab toh na shaadi ho rahi hai... Na mehendi, I think You guys should also... Uhm- (Neither the wedding is happening nor is the mehendi)" Shashi said

"Yeah... I guess Shashi is right" Arvind said

"Khushi..." Arnav called

"Hmm"

"Don't stay up all night thinking about it. Okay? It's not anyone's fault." Arnav said softly

Khushi smiled at Arnav

How does he know me so well??

"I'll take your leave Garima Bhabi" Arvind said

"Arvind was so calm about all this" Shashi said

"We can't thank them enough for being so supportive" Garima agreed

"Only if.."

"Jo nahi hua uske baare mein sochkar kya faayda Shashiji? (What is the use of thinking about what didn't even happen Shashiji?)" Garima asked

"You're right" Shashi sighed

"But... One thing is clear as crystal, Dia will never be welcomed back in this house! She has chosen her path. And her path... Doesn't cross with ours" Shashi said with severe finality

Such that Garima couldn't argue
