Chapter Twenty Seven
I know I'm late but I'm here nevertheless. I hope you like it.
Fifteen minutes before the plane was scheduled to land in the Zurich Airport in Switzerland, after a nineteen hour long journey between Delhi to Switzerland. The air-hostess gently knocked at the door of Arnav & Khushi's private cabin.
"We are about to land, Mr & Mrs. Raizada." She called, partially bringing Arnav out of the spell of slumber. He grunted, burying his face in what felt like a perfectly cuddly body-sized teddy bear.
"Good Morning Husband." Khushi chirped sitting up on the bed, running her fingers through his soft hair.
"Hazel.." Arnav mumbled, making Khushi smile.
"The one and only." Khushi pecked his lips "Now I believe we should be getting ready to land."
Arnav sighed, opening his eyes lazily. "Another beautiful start to a beautiful day."
Khushi blushed, looking at her lap. Arnav smiled, positioning himself closer to her and cupped her face in his palms.
"You're my life." He confessed, caressing her cheek with his thumb.
Khushi bit her lip, not quite used to his intense, honest and heartfelt confessions even after two weeks of their marriage and almost a month of their supposed courtship. She smiled, as if it were the first time she had heard him confessed his most obvious and truest feelings.
Even after being engaged to the love of her life for half a month and married for the last one week, Arnav's confessions always managed to catch her off guard. It was as if she was the world to him. His world.
"Hey.." Arnav cupped her face firmly, "What happened baby?"
Khushi shook her head, jerking out of her thoughts and smiled at him.
"Next time you have to zone out in the middle of a conversation, tell me beforehand so I don't freak out." Arnav told her sternly.
Khushi nodded, resting her head on his chest.
"You're my life too." She confessed, earning a kiss in her hair.
"We are landing soon." Arnav informed her.

The couple checked into their hotel room, their luggage was already inside the room courtesy of the hotel staff. Arnav entered the room carrying his bride who was blushing beetroot red burying her in his chest.
"Hazel, if you blush like this now then how will you handle everything that I'm going to do to you throughout the trip?" Arnav asked feigning curiosity.
Khushi hit his chest playfully. Arnav chuckled.
"Stop teasing me Arnav." Khushi warned.
"I'm not teasing you Hazel, I'm stating the facts. I am not going to let you out of my sight or, even my arms throughout the honeymoon trip." Arnav said seriously.
Khushi gulped, looking at him with her eyes wide as a baby deer caught in lights.
Arnav lowered her on the bed and sat next to her, pulling her into his arms. "Kya karoon mein tumhaara? (What do I do to you?)" He asked.
Khushi looked at him frowning, "What did I do?"
"Nothing, that's the problem. You don't even have to do anything to.. to make me want you like my next breath." Arnav said sincerely.
Khushi snuggled into him, kissing him on his chest. Arnav held her protectively against himself.
"Let's get some sleep while we can. Tomorrow, we'll head out for some sight-seeing." Arnav told her.
Khushi nodded.

The next morning, Arnav stepped out of the washroom only to be greeted by the sight of his wife dressed in a Charcoal Grey full-sleeve knee-length dress getting ready in front of the mirror.
"Someone is looking beautiful today." Arnav complemented her, hugging her from the back.
Khushi chuckled. "Someone is being very romantic." She raised her brow at him.
"It's the sole purpose of the trip Khush, We're on our honeymoon. We're supposed to be romancing." Arnav teased, kissing her neck. "Aren't we?"
Khushi nodded, "You're right. What should we do now Mr. Romantic?"
"You tell me, Do you want to spend your day inside here, or outside visiting the churches of Zurich?" Arnav asked as he twirled her in his arms such that she now stood plastered to him, their breaths mingling with each-other.
Khushi closed her eyes, holding Arnav by his shoulders to steady herself. "I..I"
Arnav held her securely against himself, brushing his lips against her cheeks. "You?"
Khushi took in a harsh intake of breath, her nails digging into his shoulders.
"You shouldn't have bothered getting ready you know." Arnav whispered huskily, trailing kisses down her jawline.
Khushi leaned into his touch, her body going berserk as usual, responding to him. Arnav smiled, scooping her into his arms, her lips caught in a heated, desperate kiss by his.
Khushi succumbed into the kiss, surrendering yet another time to passion and need of them both. Arnav lowered her into the soft, feathery bed before coming on top of her to reclaim her lips in yet another toe-curling kiss.

Hours later, after a few rounds of passionate love making, Khushi was lying cocooned in the arms of her husband, spent and exhausted. Her head buried in his chest while Arnav's arms were wrapped securely around her.
"Tired?" Arnav asked, rubbing circles on her arm.
"Mm" She responded, looking at him with a smile on her face.
Arnav smiled back, "Where had we planned to go, before we flipped?" He asked curiously.
"The churches"
"Tomorrow?" Arnav offered
"Only if you can keep your hands off me." Khushi giggled.
"That's the tricky part." Arnav pouted.
"Shameless."
Arnav laughed.
"I had heard that the night-sky of Switzerland is very beautiful." Khushi told him.
"So I've heard." Arnav confirmed.
"Can we go stargazing tonight?" Khushi asked
Arnav clicked his tongue, "That's actually not a bad idea, We could drive out of town, starting sometime in the evening, I know this brilliant place where we can stop and.. do the gazing." He answered, his eyes shining with an unknown emotion.
"The gazing?"
"The stargazing? That's the idea right?" Arnav frowned at her slightly.
"Of course, but I have a feeling this.. idea doesn't mean the same thing for the two of us." Khushi said, looking adorable as she eyed him suspiciously.
"Dammit woman." He pecked her lips. "Stop being so cute."
"You stop being so horny" Khushi shot back.
Arnav gave her a look while Khushi simply shrugged.

Arnav stopped their rented car in the parking area of a gas-station on a secluded road, stretching for miles and miles ahead. The road was surrounded by trees from all sides, roadside lamp posts were lit up making the place, a lot more homelier.
Arnav got out of the vehicle and reached out to open the door for his wife. She was dressed in a maroon top, a black blazer and black jeans, paired with platform black belly shoes.
"Where have you brought me?" She asked, scanning the whole area curiously.
"We have a short walk of five minutes to reach our final destination. I have rented a cabin for us, for tonight. It's a little off-track for cars." Arnav explained to her.
Khushi nodded, her eyes brightened with anticipation.
"Shall we, my lady?" Arnav asked chivalrously, extending his hand to her
"By all means." Khushi smiled, keeping her hand on his outstretched palm.
After a few minutes of walking side by side, the couple reached a large clearing of land, with a small cozy wooden cabin standing proudly in the middle of it. The lights in the cabin were on, causing the wife to frown.
"The cabin owner is a business friend, he owed me a few favors. I asked him to keep the cabin free for us tonight, after you mentioned star-gazing earlier." Arnav explained to her, gauging her thoughts. "That should be the staff waiting for us to show up."
Khushi nodded, "Right."
***
Khushi was sitting on the improvised swing that was hanging from the tree near the cabin, her laughter echoing through the surroundings as she swung to and fro. Arnav untied her hair, removing the hair clutch holding them in place sending her long hair flowing down her waist.
"Much better." Arnav smiled in satisfaction, as Khushi giggled yet again. He pushed her again, sending her flying forward, a funny feeling making chaos in her stomach, causing her to let out an excited scream of delight.
"I had forgotten how it felt to like, to play on the swings." Khushi said happily.
"Believe me when I say this, I hadn't forgotten how edible you look when you're being a child." Arnav said admiring his wife. Khushi blushed, clutching the thick, double rope tightly.
Just as Arnav was about to add something else, another thought struck him. He quickly fished his phone out of his jeans pocket and clicked a picture of Khushi.
"What are you doing?" Khushi asked, shielding her face from the camera.
"The picture is clicked, no use hiding your face." Arnav smirked.
Khushi sighed, "I must be looking horrible." She stopped the swing and walked next to him.
"You look breathtaking." Arnav said softly, brushing his fingers on her cheeks.
"Really?" Khushi asked innocently.
Arnav pulled her into his arms. "Yes. Now let's get back to the cabin, our dinner must be waiting for us."
Khushi nodded and the two entered the cabin.
***
Hours later, as midnight approached and the winds grew chilly, Arnav wrapped his arms around her as Khushi snuggled into him, looking at the stars sprawled across the sky.
"So beautiful." She whispered, mesmerized at the view of the clear sky. Arnav hummed, agreeing to her.
"Beautiful." He whispered, nuzzling her neck.
Khushi bit her lip, "We're here for the stargazing." She managed to speak.
"And I'm gazing at my moon." Arnav quipped.
"Stop.. please." Khushi whispered, unwillingly.
"You don't sound like you want me to stop." Arnav said softly.
"I hate you." Khushi whispered, hitting his chest.
"I love you too." Arnav replied, kissing her forehead.
"You make me.. lose myself." She confessed innocently.
"So do you my love." Arnav said earnestly, "Every second of the day."
Khushi smiled, as little tinges of red began to color her cheeks. Arnav pulled her completely on his lap and she buried her face into his neck.
"Meri jaan ho tum (You're my life.)" Arnav sighed softly and before they knew, Arnav had carried her inside their accommodation and they found themselves devouring each-other, loving each other and worshipping each other till they were essentially one, just yet another time, marking the blissful end of another day of their together forever.
