The Raizada family had returned hours ago from the Gupta House. None of the family members had had a sound sleep the whole night. They had tried to act nonchalant about the whole matter in the presence of Shashi and Garima. But even Arvind and Ratna were disturbed about the sudden change in the course of events.

The next morning Arvind and Arnav were sitting in the study. Conversing deeply

"Pata nahi jab baat media tak pahuinchegi tab kya hoga (What will happen when the matter will reach the media)" Arvind whispered tensed

"Aap pareshaan mat hoiye Dad... (You don't worry Dad) We'll handle the media just alright" Arnav assured

"It's not easy Chote... Guptas and Raizadas are a prominent name of the country. Even a small thing happening in our lives becomes big for the media... Aur yeh baat media bahut buri tarah uchaal sakta hai... (And the media can make a really big deal out of this issue)" Arvind said

"Mein.. Samajh sakta huin Dad, Par iss waqt hum aur kya kar sakte hain?? (I can understand Dad... But What more can be done in this situation?? )" Arnav asked

Arvind sighed in response

Anjali entered the study with three mugs of steaming hot coffee in a tray

"Morning Anu" Arvind greeted with a small smile

"Morning Di" Arnav smiled too

"Khushi had called" Anjali said settling on a chair

"Is everything Okay?" Arvind asked

"Yeah... Sab theek hai, She had just called to ask about us (Everything is fine)" Anjali said

Arvind smiled

"Baat nahi maani usne meri... I bet she didn't sleep last night (She didn't listen to me)" Arnav said

"She confessed... That she didn't sleep. You're right! But she also told me to tell you that she knows you didn't sleep either! So... you're even" Anjali said with a wink

"Jitna tum dono ek doosre ko jaante ho... Utna toh hum bhi tumhe nahi jaante (Even we don't know both of you the way you know each other) I mean... You know each and everything about each other's life" Arvind observed

"Yes Dad... You know Dad, They'd make a beautiful couple if they get married" Anjali remarked

"Di..."

"No... I'm not pulling your leg or something Chote... I swear I believe what I said" Anjali said genuinely

Arvind's eyes shone

"Kya khurafat chal rahi hai aapke dimaag mein Dad?? (What evil plan is on your mind Dad??)" Arnav asked apprehensively

"Koi Khurafaat nahi hai chote... Anu tumne toh saari problem solve kar di (Its no evil plan Chote... Anu you just solved the the whole problem)" Arvind said happily

"What... Are you thinking Dad??" Arnav asked slightly anxious of what his father might be upto

"Aaj sunday hai... Shashi aur Bhabi ghar par hi honge... (Its sunday today... Shashi and bhabi should be home today) Anu call Khushi and tell her we've invited ourselves to lunch at their place. I need to have a word with my Best friend" Arvind ordered

"Dad... What the hell are you upto??" Arnav asked anxiously

"Try to think! I'm sure you have enough brains" Arvind said before walking out of the study towards his bedroom

Arnav sighed "Di..." But Anjali had skipped away to call Khushi long back!!

This was... The first and the most important case of Anjali's Matchmaking services after all!! She knew exactly what her father was up to.

But so did Arnav!!

"My Family!!!" Arnav sighed

"Di...!!" Arnav called coming inside Anjali's room

"For the millionth Time Chote... There's something called knocking!!" Anjali said not-so-calmly

"Leave all that... What the hell are you guys trying to do??" Arnav asked 

"What are we doing chote?" Anjali asked confused

"Why are we going to the Gupta House?" Arnav asked

"Oh... Dad didn't tell me" Anjali said with a pout

"And you didn't guess! Yeah right" Arnav said sarcastically

"Arnav..." Anjali started

"What is happening here Raani-Saheba... Saale-saahab?? Kya baatein ho rahi hain Dono ke beech? (What are you two talking about?)" Shyam asked

"Jija-ji... Di aur Dad Gupta House jaane ki soch rahe hain (Jija-ji... Di and Dad are thinking about going to Gupta house)" Arnav said 

"Par issmein kya badi baat hai...??(But what's the big deal in that)" Shyam asked confused

"Mera Rishta lekar... Khushi ke liye (With my alliance for Khushi)" Arnav said

Shyam gasped

"Raani-Saaheba aapne yeh kaam itni jaldi kaise kar dia?? (RS how did you  manage to do it in such a short span?)" Shyam asked pleasantly surprised

Anjali smirked

"I have my ways... You know" She said proudly

"Di... You're joking right??" Arnav asked earnestly

"Why'd I do that Chote??" Anjali asked surprised

"Di... You can't do this" Arnav said

"But Saale-Sahab what is the problem?" Shyam asked

"The problem... Jija-ji the problem is that yeh uska faisla nahi hoga... Family ke pressure ne... Uss din mera faisla affect kia tha... Aaj uska faisla affect karega (It won't be her decision... Family pressure had affected my decision then... And it will affect hers now)" Arnav said

"Matlab...?? (What do you mean??)" Anjali asked

"Kya aapko honestly lagta hai... Ki Dia se shaadi karna mera faisla tha?? (Do you honestly think... that marrying Dia was my decision??)" Arnav asked

"Chote..."

"Saale-Sahab"

"Faisla sunaya tha Dad ne... Mujhse ek bhi baar puche bagair... (Dad had told me his decision... Without even asking me once) Don't you know that??" Arnav asked

"Hum... Jaante hain Chote! (We know Chote)" Anjali said quietly

"You think... Shashi uncle will let her decide? Even if he did Di... Will she be in a position to deny... Even if she wants to?? Di Dia was her sister... She'd be expected to correct everything that has been ruined by Dia... And the easiest way to do that is to agree to this alliance. She has always borne the brunt of Dia's mistakes... I won't let her do it now!!" Arnav said

"Huh... Arnav... We all Love Khushi very much, For Dad she's more precious than the Great Kohinoor! Her happiness matters to us. Khushi is more important than anything else. I assure you if she'll not be happy... No one will try to pressurize her" Shyam said

Arnav sighed. Did he have a choice??

"But... I'll make sure you decide without any pressure. Even if it breaks my heart hearing you say No... You'll not have to compromise on anything" Arnav thought
