Coming to the update

The guests had left hours ago, Leaving the Raizadas and The Guptas alone in the ever so grand Raizada Mansion to discuss the rest of the ceremonies and functions

"Garima Aunty.. I and Khushi have made a rough guest list. Here check it" Anjali said handing Garima the list

"Maa the printers will be here tomorrow afternoon, With Card Samples. Saale-Sahab keep yourself free after three So that you guys don't face a problem later on" Shyam said

"Sure Jijaji. BTW, Mom did Guruji tell you the dates already?" Arnav asked

"Yeah.. Guruji had called before the engagement, I have a few dates. You people can decide and then we'll plan everything accordingly" Ratna said

"Oh.. Hazel did you call NK and La?" Arnav asked

"Yeah... And I almost ended up losing my hearing sense by the time they finished. NK was squealing like a teenage schoolgirl" Khushi said rubbing her ears with a pout

Arnav chuckled hearing that.

"You're so cute Hazel" Arnav cooed softly

Khushi blushed cherry red

"Okay Now love birds.. It's your wedding, Check this guest list and see if we missed someone" Anjali said with a teasing smile

"Oh yeah... I have a few people in mind I'm sure you have forgotten" Arnav said

"Yeah.. You must be looking forward to inviting your business associates. Go on" Ratna said

"Hmm"

"Bhai.. You can tell me whom you are inviting. I'll make sure I personally go and invite them" Akash said

"No.. Akash, That will be handled. I personally want to handle their invitation" Arnav said earning a surprised look from both his parents and In-Laws

"Who is it, Who is so important that ASR is personally inviting him/her?!" Arvind asked

"Oh, I'll tell ya later on Dad. Maa what are the dates Guruji has given?" Arnav asked

"There are three dates.. The earliest one is in three days on sunday.. The next two dates are next Wednesday and Saturday respectively" Ratna said

"Sunday is too early, I think we should go for next week, Saturday? What say kids?" Arvind asked unknowingly shocking the two lovebirds in the process

Arnav and Khushi looked at each other shocked

What the..

Even their thoughts were running along the same lines.

"Dad... Don't punish Chote and Khushi like that.. Shakal toh dekhiye un dono ki (Look at their faces)" Anjali said trying to stop herself from laughing out Loud.

"Haan Fufaji (Uncle), Aap toh Bhai ko heart-attack hi de denge. (Yes fufaji you'll end up causing an heart-attack to brother)" Akash said teasing his brother

"Arrey.. He's not going to be a heart patient this soon. After all we have our own doctor to look after him" Ratna said mischievously

"Bua.. Fufaji is only delaying that doctor's arrival in our house" Akash said winking at Arnav

"Aaj bade parr nikal aaye hai tumhare Akash Singh Raizada, Kahaan gaya mera sharmeela bhai..? Kidnap widnap toh nahi kar liya usko tumne? (Today you've suddenly grown feathers have you Akash singh Raizada, Where is the shy brother of mine? You haven't kidnapped him or something have you?)" Arnav asked

"Kuch galat keh dia kya Bua? (Did I say something wrong Bua?)" Akash asked with utmost innocence

"No... Nothing wrong. After all you don't get to tease The ASR all the time." Ratna said winking at Akash

"Kabhi kabhi na.. Mujhe shak hota hai ki mein aapka beta huin bhi ya nahi, Aap har kisi ki side le lete ho.. Bas aapka chote nahi dikhta aapko kabhi (Sometimes, I doubt whether I'm your son or not, You can side with everyone, The only person you don't see is your chote)" Arnav said with a pout.

"Aww chote.. See he is such a baby. Who'd say he's the most successful entrepreneur of all time." Ratna said

"His image in the outside world is of a ruthless monster. Sometimes, When I see him behaving like a kid in the house I'm forced to consider taking an appointment from a psychiatrist" Arvind said cheekily

"He and his MPDs Hello Hi Bye Bye" Mami joined in with a plate full of freshly made samosas

"Mami Aap bhi!?! (Mami you too!?!)" Arnav whined

"Acha Ab bas.. Bahut ho gaya, Enough of teasing him (Okay now.. Stop. That's enough)" Mama intervened much to the relief of Arnav

"Papa you're such a spoil sport" Akash whined

"Bhoolo mat Akash, Arnav bhai ne humein bahut baar di ke teasings se bachaya hai.. Thodi si toh sharam karo (Don't forget Akash that Arnav bhai has saved us from Di's teasings alot of times. At least have a little shame)" Payal chided.

"Where is Shashi BTW? Haven't seen him in ages" Arvind asked

"You were with him throughout the engagement ceremony dad. Don't exaggerate now." Anjali said rolling her eyes

Arvind pouted

"He got a call from the office, I think something important came up. He said he'll be back in an hour though" Khushi told Arvind.

"Oh.. That reminds me, I need to finalize some things with Aman.. Ill be back in a minute" Arnav said getting up from the couch

"God About time.. I thought you guys broke up" Anjali said humorously

"What?" Arnav frowned confused

"Haan.. You and your long time girlfriend cum manager cum best friend Aman. If you wouldn't have mentioned him.. I would've assumed you guys broke up. Oh heavens.. He seems to spend more time with his manager than any of us" Anjali sighed dramatically

"Di.." Arnav warned with a glare

"Don't worry Di.. It'll change soon" Khushi said

"Ahaan?" Arnav raised an eyebrow in amusement

"Koi shak? (You have a doubt?)" She raised an eyebrow back

Everyone chuckled

"Not at all Mrs would be Raizada" Arnav said kissing her on her forehead and leaving the hall

Anjali smiled looking at the retreating figure of her brother

"Someone is turning too bold yeah?" Payal asked poking Khushi

"Just.. The affects of being the would be wife of a certain Laad-Governor." Khushi winked

Sorry for being late... I'm busy with real life.

I know it doesn't push the story any forward... But I wrote it anyway. Hope this doesn't suck.

Also.. Those who're waiting patiently for the update of WILL THE LOVE HEAL would have to wait for some time.. Coz I'm nowhere out of my Writers block for that story... I just don't want to update for the sake of updating. The story is really.. Special for me.. And I don't want to... Ruin it. I think I might just put it on a hold till I figure out how to update.

Tell me should I just put it on a hold Don't worry... I am not discontinuing. No-oh.. Just that I need time to start updating that story.
