William woke up in a hotel room in the morning. He sat up groaning, his splitting head from the night before hit him. " I shouldn't have gotten langers..." he muttered to himself. He happened to glance over to see the man who assisted him the night before only to see a note in his place. William picked up the note then noticed the time and panicked and threw this note away, running out the door for he would be late for work. William ran to a taxi and made his way home. He quietly opened the door to the small apartment where he lived and looked at the clock which read 6:00 am.

He walked silently to a door that read "Murphy kids". He cracked open the door to see two red-haired girls, who looked like an exact copy of each other, with red fuzzy hair just like his own and faces splattered with freckles. Then glances over at the older boy with the same features. William walked over and stood in the middle of the room. He inhaled deeply and exhaled, yelling " Top o' the mornin' to ya!" Making all of the kids almost jump to mid-air. The twins grabbed each other and the boy jolted awake. William laughed whole-heartedly as the kids groaned knowing what waking up meant."Stop acting like a maggot and let's get ready," William stated as the kids got up and dressed for the day.

"Anna, do ya want your hair up or down?" William questioned as his daughter sat in front of him, pink hairbrush in hand." I want it up please!" Anna said sweetly, and He replied "Bang on!" as he parted her messy hair and brushed it, outputting it into small pigtails. He turned to his other daughter, Willow, who was sitting in front of her older brother, Sean. Sean was cursing under his breath as he tried to untangle the knots in her hair, low enough not to be heard by his younger sister. Sean was a very scrawny lad, William tried to fatten the kid up but it seemed like he could never put the weight on. Granted, William works lots of overtime and sometimes isn't home to supervise dinner.

After the girls were done getting dressed, both William and Sean finally could tend to themselves. The family rushed out the door, the Murphy's walked to the bus station. The sounds of the city filled the air. Once on the bus, William handed Sean money telling him to buy him and his sisters breakfast. Sean nodded and with that William's stop came and he exclaimed as he got off the bus," Atta boy Sean, that's my boyo!'' With that William went out in the bright morning to begin his intensive work at his job in construction. Not his top choice but it's what brings money in. Meanwhile, Sean walked his sisters to a small bakery by the Elementary school and bought cinnamon rolls for them.

He finished walking them into the school and headed his way to his own. Sean kicks a rock down the road as he walks. Until the unfortunate event that he kicked a rock into the back of someone's head. That so happened to be the kid named Anwir, a boy Sean's age who happens to love harassing Sean due to his accent and overall personality. " Wanting to pick a fight, huh?" " Leave me be, I didn't even do it on purpose," Sean replied as he walked past him only to get his shoulder yanked back by the two bigger boys behind Anwir."Why don't you crack on with it, I'm sorry, is that better?" Sean scoffed.

Sean speaks less in Irish terms than his father, who liked to mix things up, however, that doesn't mean he still didn't use his own. "Even the way you talk makes you sound stupid! I'll teach you a thing or two about kicking something at the back of my head." Sean slid off his jacket, which the kid had a hold of, and hit the ground running. The three boys chased through different alleys and streets. Sean made a sharp turn to the back of a bank where he saw a long lean banker smoking a cigar.

The banker looked up to see the boy running, took a puff of smoke, and watched the three other boys chase after him. The banker dropped his cigar to the ground and crushed it under his foot to put the ember out. The ember slowly died as the banker walked in the direction of where the boys went.
