Sentence(s) of the chapter- "Your gay?" He said, busting out laughing. My eyes widened. He. Did. Not. Just. Do. That. I put my head in my hands.

"I have to tell you something..." I stated. All his focus went to me. It was weird, I'm not used to having attention, but I'll take it right now.
"Your gay?" He said, busting out laughing. My eyes widened. He. Did. Not. Just. Do. That. I put my head in my hands.
"Oh my god...." I said while chuckling. "As that would be a surprise, no. Uhh... No. Oh god no..." I stated quietly, making him laugh more. I joking his laughing and soon we were both crying.
"Tim... What's wrong with Lilly?" I heard Brandon say to Tim, making us laugh harder.
"I-I don't know... Let's just stay upstairs till she's sane...." Tim said to Brandon. I tried to stand up, only to fall on the couch. I couldn't stop laughing, and neither could Mathew.
He soon regained his bad boy look with a small smile on his lips. I tried to stay calm, letting out a little chuckle now and then.
"So what were you going to say before we almost died of my humor," he said. I thought back.
"Honestly, I totally forgot," I said? Shrugging it off. I cleaned off the table and put the half pizza into the fridge for leftovers.
I looked at my watch, 8:45 pm. Bed time.
"Alright boys, up to bed!" I called to them. They both complained. "Yeah yeah, go," I said, pointing up the ramp/stairs. They huffed and went up. I followed them, while realizing I also had a follower.
I went to Brandon's room first.
"Goodnight little man," I said, kissing his forehead.
"Hey Lilly, when will we see mom and dad again," he asked. I sighed and sat on his bed.
"Brandon, it's complicated. You know that there working. They go all over the world. Think about it like this," I said, picking up the Avenger comic book on his nightstand.
"You see them? What if they had family's that they never saw? There family would be sad that they wouldn't get to see them, but they would know that there doing something good. Like our family. Mom and dad are out, saving people. Helping people. So technically, mom and dad are like, heroes." I said, showing him a big smile. His face lit up. I knew he'd got it now.
"Goodnight, superhero" I said, walking over to the door and turning off the light. I quietly shut the door and met Mathew in the hallway.
"One down, one to go," I said to him with a smile. I walked into Timothy's room. He was in his bed, waiting for me.
I tucked him in and kissed his forehead.
"Goodnight Lilly," he said.
"Goodnight Timothy," I said, closing his door and turning off his light. I walked down the hallway with Mathew, silence bubbled around us.
"I've got to go home, my moms worried," he said, rolling his eyes.
" don't roll your eyes! You've been at my house for a while, she has a right to be worried. She's your mom. I guess this is goodnight then." I said as we walked to my front door.
"I guess so. Goodnight Lilly. I had fun tonight, eating pizza, scaring you, laughing our butts off, it was.... Fun." He said. I blushed.
"Thanks for staying. It was a blast. I guess I'll see you in school, huh Mathew," I chuckled.
"You can call me Mat," He said.
"You can call me Lil," I said, mimicking his deep tone. He chuckled and stepped outside. "Thanks for giving us the ride. I'd probably still be at school," I said, thinking it over.
"No Problem Lil," he said, using the name. I felt a little, just a little heat, rise on my cheeks. "I'll see you tomorrow," he said, flashing me his pearly white teeth. Seriously, how do people get those? I brush my teeth everyday, and there still not white.
"I'll tomorrow." I said. I smiled at him as he pulled out of my driveway and into the street, vanishing into the dark distance.
Now, it's was my bed time. I got on some pajamas, brushed my teeth, and put my long hair into two braids so they wouldn't knot in the night. I checked up one last time on the boys before going to my own room.
My bed was my best friend, cause it was always there to comfort me in times of need. My pillow: my shoulder to cry on. I put my head down and instantly drifted off.

Twice in one day? I'm on a roll.
