Carla Jaeger was not surprised easily but this was the icing on the cake. Rather than her husband returning with their son in time, they were delayed but out of all the theories she would not ever have imagined that, her son, Eren Jaeger would have murdered too men and come home with an orphan girl."Eren!" Carla screamed as she rushed to his side, still not noticing the addition hiding behind her husband.Carla brought the boys inside with Eren in her arms, ignoring her husband calling her name.      As she closed the door Carla soon noticed the young girl. "Mikasa?!" She looked at her husband seeing his face of true horror. Talking to Grisha this time." What happened, where is Akane?" Carla said none too calmly. Grisha's face turned sour and he gulped. Akane was Mikasa's mother and Carla's best friend. How was he supposed to explain to his wife that she WAS Mikasa's mother. And she WAS her best friend.     Grisha  gave Carla a look that said 'I'll explain later.' And so  she agreed. Due to lack of space in their house Mikasa was left sharing a bed with Eren but being only nine there wasn't much of an issue in them being opposite genders. Mikasa was taken straight to bed and slept wrapped in a blanket made by Carla Jaeger herself.     Late that night after Eren and Grisha had explained the previous happenings to Carla they had all retreated to bed after a long day. Soon enough Eren was awoken by the sounds of weeping by none other than Mikasa, Eren jumped because almost instantly after being awoken Mikasa started pleading for her parents back;"I wan..t ma...ma an...and Pa....Papa....please...." She turned to Eren then, tear stained face and eyes full of salty bitterness, ." I don't wanna live no more... Eren, I just wa...wanna be with Mama and papa !"     And with that the door opened and Carla Jaeger walked in and rushed to Mikasa's side picking her up and cradling her close to her body. Suddenly Carla began to sing...'I remember tears streaming down your face when I said I'll never let you go,'Mikasa's sobbing suddenly calmed into quiet crying.'When all those shadows almost killed your light, I remember you said don't leave me here alone,'Mikasa then pulled herself closerg to Carla snuggling in and Carla smiled gently at her, Eren couldn't help but add a slight smile of his own, Mikasa was going to be alright.'But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight, Just close your eyes, the sun is going down,'Carla moved Mikasa onto one leg and pulled Eren onto the other cuddling them both in and planting gently kisses in their foreheads, Mikasa's then Eren's. 'You'll be alright, no one can hurt you now, Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound..'----------------------------------------------So how was that ?
