hi guys sorry about having to republish this story i was working on this chapter when i noticed all the chapters had somehow gotton mixed up.

as rachel pulled up outside the smythe house marley was in the front passenger seat almost shaking with nerves ar meeting mr and mrs smythe for the first time.

" marls they are going to love you" rachel said

" im so nervous" marley said

marley had bought a pale lemon coloured dress it was pretty with delicate lace on the sleeves it stopped just below her knee. rachel had opted for a silver thin strapped dress tbat stopped at just above her knees.

as they got out of the car rachel tuck in the sight of the house it was even bigger than she had expected and she had expected big.

" marley " skylar said walkin down the front steps to them a huge smile on his face as he reached her they shared a quick kiss.

"you look beautiful " rachel heard him telling marley he really was a good influence on marley given how self conscious she was.

" are you two ready" skylar asked

" yeah" rachel said marley nodded skylar tuck hold of her hand and the three of them headed up the front steps and into the house.

rachel couldnt help but look at the out of a catalogue house everything was perfect everything was expensive yet it felt welcoming.

" relax they already love you" skylar said to marley as they reached the french doors that led out to the garden.

sebastian

sebastian left his room and headed down stairs hile the prospect of rachel coming to the party was a good thing he always found his parents parties boring.

he reached the bottom of the stairs and turned towards the french doors that led out to the garden when he saw her or rather the back of her she looked stunning he couldn't tear his eyes from her legs.

" see something you like" sebastian tore his eyes away from the back of rachel's legs to find his grandfather sj stood looking at him.

" hey grandad " sebastian said

" is she your date" sj asked

" no" sebastian said

" oh" sj said looking amused.

" she is marley's older sister" sebastian said

" oh i see so she is her sister...interesting given your skylar's brother" sj chuckled.

" grandad " sebastian said

" alright sebastian i get it you dont want to talk about her... come on or your grandma will wonder where we both are" sj said sebastian walked with him outside. rachel was stood with skylar and narley only a few feet away and sebastian knew wht was going to happen as sj walked over to the three of them sebastian followed him.

" hello" sj said

" grandad" skylar said hugging him.

"marley rachel this is my grandad grandad this is marley and her sister rachel" skylar said

" its wonderful to meet you skylar hasnt shut up out you" sj said to marley who blushed

" and your her sister lovely to meet you too" sj said looking at rachel then shot sebastian a lirtle glance.

" may i ask where your date is this evening" sj asked sebastian rolled his eyes he knew his grandad wasnt going to leave it alone.

" i came with marley " rachel said

" oh i see so you dont have a boyfriend then... did you hear that seb"sj said it was only at that point rachel turned and saw sebastian stood there.

" well it was lovely to meet you both i best go find lily she will be furious i met you first" sj chuckled begore walking away.

" hey seb" skylar said

" hey" sebastian said

"will you help me get some drinks" skylar asked sebastian nodded and followed his brother to the makeshift bar that had been set up.

" you ok" skylar asked

" yeah im just wondering why i was blessed with the most embarrassing family ever" sebastian said

" most embarrassing family ever im guessing it involves your grandparents " their dad said appearing next to them at the bar.

" yeah grandad" sebastian sighed

" now the important question is which grandad" his dad charles asked.

" moms dad" sebastian said

" guess im off the hook then " charles chuckled before pouring himself a glass of champagne.

" very funny " sebastian said reaching for the champagne bottle onlt for chatles to tap his hand away.

" its so unfair you put me through this party yet wont let me drink" sebastian huffed and pouted.

" sky you best go to marley your mom and grandma lily cant wait to meet her" charles said

" ok seb will you bring rachel's drink" skylar said picking up his and marley's begore walking away.

" rachel" charles asked raising an eyebrow.

" marley's sister " sebastian said

" oh ofcourse. ..wait a minite marley rose berry her sister been rachel as in rachel berry the girl your always trying to beat at competitions" charles said

"yeah" sebastian said

" let me guess your grandad thought she was your date" charles said

" something like that" sebastian said

" is she" charles asked

" no" sebastian said

" here " charles said handing his glass of champagne to him.

" thanks" sebastian said

" its the only one your having" charles said 

" i best get rachel's drink to her" sebastian said pucking up an ice tea along with his champagne.

" i will come with you ans say hello to marley " charles said they both set off walking towards them.

" here you go" sebastian said handing the ice tea to rachel.

" thank you" she said

" you must be marley lovely to meet you im charles skylar's dad call me charlie" charles said

" hi" was all marlwy could say she was so shy and her nerves were clearly evident.

" you must be rachel i have heard alot about you i owe you a thank you if it wasnt for you i dont think sebastian would have worked so hard on performing" charles said

" yes he is very competitive " rachel said

" hello" maggie their mom said appearing next to charles.

" hey marley this is my mom maggie" skylar said

" hi" marley said

" welcome to our home i know it can be daunting meeting the parents but we dont bite relax and enjoy yourself " maggie said

" thank you" marley said

" both of you make yourselves at home " maggie said it was then his mom saw him holding the champagne glass she narrowed her eyes at him.

" why dont you all go sit at our table the food will be served soon" charles said

" ok" skylar said taking hold of marley's hand and leading her through he crowd rachel follwed them sebastian went to follow them but was stopped by his mom.

" its alright maggie  i gave him the champagne " charles said

" what" maggie asked

" your father had embarrassed him and you know what seb is like when he isnt happy" charles said

" what did he do" maggie asked

" it doesnt matter" sebastian said

" just dont get drunk we dont want a repeat of last time" maggie said

" i didnt know it wasn't supposed to be drank neat did i" sebastian said at the last oarty his parents had hosted he had gotton his hands on a bottle of what he thought was sambuca but turned out to be a liqueur he had gotton so drunk he had attempted to play gold with a tiffany lamp and then hugged a tree whilst telling it that he tnought it was beautiful .

" you have to admit he was entertaining maggie" charles said

"can i go" sebastian asked

" ofcourse " maggie said sebastian made his way through the crowd to find all four of his grandparents sat with skylar marley and rachel.

" here he is i wondered where you had got to" his grandma lily his moms mom said getting up and hugging him.

" hey grandma " sebastian said before walking around the table to hug his other grandparents jane and henry his dads parents before going to sit down.

" thats your moms seat" sj said sebastian moved to sit in the chair next to it.

" thats your dads" sj said which only left the seat next to rachel as sebastian sat down he glared at sj as his mom and dad arrived at the table and sat down.

" marley you will have to come for dinner one night " maggie said

" thank you" marley said

" so how did you two meet " jane asked

" at the lima bean we were both waiting in line and we got talking and so i bought her coffee" skylar said blushing as all four of their grandparents were looking at him like he was an adorable little boy.

" thats so sweet" jane said.

" well we did know of each other before that but it was the first time we spoke to each other" skylar said

" you knew of each other" Henry asked

" yeah well seb knows rachel " skylar said

" your not the girl he blackmailed are you " lily asked rachel looked awkward clearly not knowing what to say.

" yes she is" sebastian said

" he apologised" skylar said giving him a supportive smile as their meal was served his parents had hired a catering company to do the food.

once his plate was infront of him sebastian focused on eating feeling awkward not only at his grandma mentioning the blackmail but it made him realise the fact was rachel would never sate him after that.

once the meal was over he excused himself and headed into the house u der the pretence of going to the bathroom.

" seb" charles called after him.

" what" sebastian asked

" whats wrong your quiet and that isnt you" charles asked

" it doesnt matter " sebastian said

" seb whatever it is it is clearly bothering you so it does matter" charles said

" im sick of past mistakes coming back to haunt me" sebastian said charles smiled.

" why are you smiling" sebastian asked

" im smiling because i just realised the real reason your upset look after the party and everyone as gone i have a story to tell you" charles said
