sebastian unlocked the door to the cabin and indicted for her to wait outside for a moment rachel wondered why but two minutes later sebastian opened the door for her she walked in. she was surrounded by candles and he had lit the fire she thought of marley and skylar the smythe brothers certainly knew how to be romantic.

" you like" he asked

" its amazing" rachel said she heard a cork pop and looked at sebastian who was now pouring them both a glass of wine.

" non alcoholic " sebastian said handing her glass to her.

" too the start of something new" sebastian said before adding " and exciting " they clinked their glasses.

"dinner will be ready shortly" sebastian said

" you cooked" rachel asked

" yes i have many talents tbat your going to be discovering and i am looking forward to discovering yours" sebastian said

" what are we having" rachel asked

"vegetable soup which i made from scratch with homemade bread and them a vegan cake i made" sebastian said

" so you really can cook then" rachel asked

" yeah my mom got sick of me criticising store bought food so she said if i want it to be done right i should make it myself so i do" sebastian said

" im not a bad cook myself " rachel said

" is that your innocent way of inviting me to your house for dinner" sebastian asked smiling at her.

" is that your in no way sutble way of inviting yourself" rachel asked smiling.

" yes...and i believe the soupis ready so please take you seat" sebastian said leading her to the dining table which had been set up for the two of them. he pulled out her cgsir for her and tgen went to get the food he returned a minute later with her bowl of soup which looked and smelled amazing plus a plate with her bread which smelt unbelievable.

sebastian returned a other moment later with his own and sat down opposite her smiling at her as he did. he was now watching her intently  rachel knew he wanted her to try the food she worriee she woukd dripple.

" its amazing " she said after tasting it.

" thank you im glad you like it" sebastian said

" i make a vegetable soup but its nothing like this" rachel said

" i will teach you how to make it though i have a feeling you might get rather distracted being in such close proximity to me" sebastian said

" i have never known anyone has full of themselves " rachel said

" i bet though if it meant i left a lasting impression on you when we first met im pleased about it" sebastian said

" oh you definitely made an impression " rachel giggled

" so did you" sebastian said

" really what was your first impression of me" rachel asked

" honestly i thought wow then i thought im going to have her" sebastian said

" oh" rachel said blushing.

" have as in date not have as in...i will shut up" sebastian said they both were laughing.

"now i know i will more than likely regret this but what was your first impression of me" sebastian asked rachel looked at him for a moment.

"well we first met when you stole our set list so at first when you walked over i had a similar reaction to your first thought of me wow...then you opened your mouth and it kind of went down hill from there" rachel said though he was giggling.

" i knew you fancied me you stuttered when you asked me how i knew you guys were going to do Michael" sebastian said

" anyway i think we best not talk about what you gave done tonight is about here and now not what has happened in the past " rachel said he beamed at her.

" what you just said means the world to me" sebastian said

they finished their meal and sebastian put a dvd in and rachel saw it was the mirror has two faces with barbra streisand.

" i know you love her" sebastian said topping up their glasses before the movie srarted they were both sat on the couch as the movie started sebastian shuffled closer to her and put hus arm around her.

rachel felt more relaxed with than she had ever done before it had been the perfect first date tgey were both being themselves and liking each other for who they both really are.

as the credits rolled and the theme song started to play sebastian stood up and offered her his hand which she tuck and they began to dance before looking at each other and starting to kiss.

later

as sebastian pulled up outside her house rachel felt sad tgat the date was over and looking at sebastian's face it was clear he felt the same way.

" do you have get back home or do you want a coffee before you go" rachel asked as he opened the car door for her.

" i would love a coffee" sebastian asked they shared a sweet smile before she let them into the house which was in darkness.

as rachel switched on the lights there was movement on the couch and a very red faced marley and flustered looking skylar sat up.

" rach i wasnt expecting you back so soon " marley said going even redder.

" clearly" rachel said

" sky" sebastian said

" we werent doing anything" skylar said going red.

" let me see two sixteen year olds dating both on the couch with the lights off yep seems innocent to me" sebastian said

" i can explain " marley said

" no need" rachel said

" rachie" marley said

" relax your not in trouble i know you guys genuinely love each other your sixteen so whatever you choose to do is up to you. i would however suggest your room might be a better location your lucky it was us and not our dads" rachel said

" where is your car" sebastian asked skylar

" i parked around the corner" skylar said

" if you parked so we wouldn't see your car why would you then think the couch was the best place" sebastian asked

"we thought you would drop rachel off and we would hear you talking and we would have gone upstairs" skylar said

" thats a good point why is sebastian here it was your first date right" marley said looking at rachel.

" he is having a coffee" rachel said

" you wont tell dads" marley asked

" no" rachel said

" why dont i make the coffee" sebastian asked

" that would be great" rachel said

" sky can you help me" sebastian said walking to the kitchen skylar got up and followed him.

" so" rachel said and marley blushed.

" i kniw it might seem crazy but i love him he makes me feel so special he makes me feel happier with myself it wasnt planned. we went to dinner tben had a walk in the park and we sat on a bench and sfarted kissing only it felt different we talked and we came back here...how was your date" marley asked.

" amazing" rachel said

" oh thats so cute" marley said seeing the meerkat charm.

meanwhile

" so im guessing im right with what i think as happening" sebastian said as he sorted th3 coffee maker out.

" actually nothing happened you kind of waljed in before we..." skylar started to say but stopped.

" is she ready" sebastian asked

" yes seb i wouldnt pressure her" skylar said looking annoyed.

" i didnt mean that i just meant you kno she has had issues with insecurities and you two have a good thing together" sebastian said

" i love her " skylar said

" then im happy for you" sebastian said

" what about you are you really here for coffee or was that a cover" skylar said

" rachel is too classy to sleep with me after one date..." sebastian started to say.

" so im guessing tonight went well " skylar asked

" it's been the best night ever" sebastian said smiling as both rachel and marley walked into the kitchen.

" everything ok" sebastian asked

" yeah we just wondered what was keeping you two" rachel said

" why did you miss me" sebastian said before pulling rachel into hus arms and giving her a quick kiss.

" aww" marley said

" did you miss me" skylar asked doung the same to her as sebastian had to rachel.

" smooth" sebastian said

the four of then drank their coffes before both couples had a goodnight kiss before both sebastian and skylar left.

once the door was closed marley hugged rachel tightly and rachel hugged her back.

" so you and sebastian " marley said

" yeah and you and skylar are going from strength to strength " rachel said

" just think rachie one day we might have a joint wedding" marley said

" i think your getting a little carried away seb and i have only beennon one date" rachel said

" oh so its seb now" marley said before smiling at her.

the next day

as its monday rachel had arranged to meet sebastian at hus second home the lima bean for a coffee she hadnt told anyone but she knew that blaine knew he kept smiling at her.

racgel sat down at the table while kurt got their coffees blaine sat with her.

" so im guessing with you inability to stop smiling your date with sebastianwent well " blaine said

" yeah and dont think i havent forgotten about you telling him i was jogging the other day" rachel said smiling.

" hey guys" marley said as she and skylar arrived at the table just as kurt arrived with his blaine's and rachels coffees.

" hey" rachel said skylar kissed marley on her cheek before going to get their coffees.

" so you two seem to be going well" kurt said to marley

" we are" marley said looking at skylar who was now ordering their drinks.

" hello" sebastian said rachel hadnt seen him walk in he just had away of appearing he walked around the table to her and sat down next to her. he tuck hold of her hand before leaning in and kissing her.

" oh" she heard kurt exclaim.

" yes kurt your eyes are not deceiving you because when all is said and done the berrys cant resist us smythe boys" sebastian said before kissing her again.

" nor can we resist tbe berry sisters " skylar said putting the coffees down and kissing marley.

epilogue

five years later marley's dream came true when the four of them had a joint wedding both couples were still madly in love.  then only a few months after getting married both rachel and marley found out they were pregnant only a few weeks apart from each other. rachel gave birth to a little girl she and sebastian nmed her gracie mae smythe. five weeks later marley gave birth yo a baby boy they named him thomas andrew smythe. life had turned out well for the four of them.
